    The Harringtons in Hawkins, Indiana were supposed to be just a social experiment. Nothing more, nothing less. Just for few months. Debbie Jellisky-Addams couldn't stomach more than a year in that poor neighborhood. But her little son Stephanus fell in love with that city. Neither she, nor her husband Fester understood his desire to stay in that city, but they respected his wish and so Terry, Nora and Steven Harringtons stayed in Hawkins. The richest family in Hawkins had to travel for work a lot and so young Steven was staying there all alone. At least that's the explanation the Addams gave whenever they needed to be more... Addams.
