~chayanne Pov~
I was sitting on the bench, alone and sad. How did this happen? Well a bit of a recap, I’m the oldest in my family. I have 19 sibling. All my siblings have things that connect them, i always have been feel left out. All of my siblings have powers- well all of them except me. I always felt well left out. Even in my own family it’s not better. I have 2 dads and a sister, I also have a mom but she is a goddess so she can’t visit. So they usually visit her, it’s a bit difficult to enter the god/goddess realm. Papa Missa is one of her Reaper so he can enter whenever he wants, dad phil is her husband so of course he can visit her with no problems and Tallulah? Well his little sister found out that her power is she can talk to the dead and she can even talk to Kristen. So they all have a connection to her but me.
Even if it tried to go though to the portal of the god/goddess real it wouldn’t work. I always pretended not to care but lately I been noticing they have so many inside jokes and talk about shows they watch without me. So when the federation finally let everyone go to the city I decided to find a friend, when my family was busy I told my dad I’m took g to the bathroom, I slip away.
Back in the present, I was walking thou the mall, it was big and there were so many people. Hybrids and humans! I never seen so many people in my live but that’s probably because not a lot of new people join the island and I never actually left the island so I always hang out with the same people. This was something like out of a fair tail for me! I shook my head there was no time for that I had to find a New friend. Easier said than done.
I first walked up to some boys and ask if I can play with them but their didn’t let me. This kept happening no one wanted to play with me and especially didn’t want to be my friend. I was sitting on the swing set, I was swinging slowly. This has been the worse day i miser wanted a friend! This is so hard the adults make it look so easy.
Then someone Join me on the other swing, I didn’t look up but she spoke up “Hi there! I’m Amy! What’s your name?” She ask, I look Up so see a girl with short light brown hair, she was wearing a red shirt with a Dandelion on it. She was also wearing an overall and had green socks and black shoes, her eyes were a beautiful baby blue colour and she was a fox hybrid.
“I-I’m Chayanne, it’s nice to meet up Amy” i smile tho I was super nervous, but Amy seem to notice this and her smile grew bigger “you want to play!” She walk jumping off the swing set. I nodded. We played for the hole time I was there. But soon my family came “chayane! Chayanne you can’t do that! Why did you runaway?” Dad Phil came running and hugged me, I hugged him back “I’m sorry dad” papa Missa finally came out of breath with Tallulah in his arms, he puts her down and she also rushed to hug me. Papa missa hugged me tightly and said in Spanish ¡No te atrevas a asustarnos así otra vez! ¡Estábamos tan preocupados!. After a while Tallulah and my dad’s let go of me? “And who is this?” Dad Phil pointed at Amy “oh this is Amy! She is my” I hesitated looking at her she smiled and nodded I turned back to my family “she is my new friend” i smile bright at the word. Friend. “Well it’s nice you meet you, I’m Philza” “it’s nice to meet you too!”
Amy’s mom appears “Amy time to go come on-“ she stop when she say Phil and Missa “mom! I made a new friend! His name is chayanne and this is his family!” Amy was practically jumping from leg to leg so excited was she “well it’s nice to meet you them, I’m Laura” Laura shook hands with my dads, the adults started talking, So me and Amy took the opportunity and played a bit more with my sister. Tallulah seem to really like Amy and is happy I found a friend. She kept teasing me that I was a loner before so I tickle attacked her and she me back. Amy join and it tuned into a hole tickle war.
But then it was time to go, I said goodbye to Amy I made sure to get her number of course. And my dads got Laura’s number as welll. Mrs.Laura seem super sweet. Back at the island everyone went to to their own things. As soon as they arrive
home Chayane runs in his room and text Amy. They text for hours, he tells her anbout the island and how dangerous is was. He told her about feeling felt out a lot and the guilt he feels for not protecting his siblings better. And in return she tells him about the city life and how it is to life a free life. They text until Papa missa called for dinner. Chayanne Have to go my papa is calling me for dinner but we can continue talking tomorrow’ Amy ‘Okay, but may in the afternoon because I have school.
