Stepping out of the elevator on the eighth floor of the building where his father's business is held, Felix has never felt so excited to be there. He walks in his light blue velvet tracksuit, with his low-waisted pants and his jacket above his belly button, taking full advantage of the opportunity to show off his piercing before taking it out. 

He carries his luxury brand bag, his lips are full glossy as always and his eyes are covered by big glasses that he lifts to the top of his head as he walks, a head that has his long blond hair tied in two messy buns on the sides at the back. A really intentional choice of hairstyle for a specific reason. 

The blond has always liked to walk around with his hair loose, showing the length he has worked hard to have, but in recent days he has been working on hairstyles that show off the back of his neck, the back of his neck that he is more than proud of and wants to show off to the world.

Opening the door to the big office on the eighth floor he immediately sees faces turn to him and the alphas begin to smile. "Hi boys" he smiles brightly.

"It's been a while, boys!" he answers smiling.

The blond starts walking to Hyunjin's secretary's desk. "Well, I've been pretty busy, like really busy" he laughs and then stops in front of the desk "Gaeul... How are you? Can you tell Jinnie I'm here?" he says with a petulant look.

However, as he makes the request to Hyunjin's secretary, the alphas who now have a look behind him are left open-mouthed, with their eyes wide in shock. "Young master, it's good to see you. Mr. Hyunjin told me that you-" Gaeul starts to speak, but is interrupted.

Another of the alphas stands up and says without thinking. "Felix, is that... A bite... A mating bite?"

Finally, the blond omega thinks. It was all he wanted. Nothing like showing off his mating mark to everyone, especially when it causes this kind of reaction. "Yeah, it is. I'm claimed now" he says satisfied "And I'm engaged" he raises his left hand and shows his pretty engagement ring set with a really big and shiny gemstone in one of the rings and a simple white gold ring fitted underneath the bigger one.

One of the alphas seems to have lost his ability to speak, while another seems to have had such a shock that he's even talking without thinking "Is this serious? With who?" he blurts out just like the first one who asked.

However, before he can continue explaining, the door to Hyunjin's room opens and he and Lino walk out. The alpha smiles "Oh, Lixie, finally!" the alpha smiles.

"Jinnie!" The omega completely ignores that he was in a conversation, walks quickly towards Hyunjin and jumps on him, surrendering himself into his arms, while wrapping his own around the other's neck. The alpha holds him firmly by the waist and lifts him off the ground a little, they begin a fervent kiss.

If some of the people in the room were already in shock, at that moment everyone, except the couple and Lino, are mind blowing for real - even the omega who has never exchanged a word with Felix.

Lino, who watches everything, laughs and shakes his head. "You guys are disgusting, I won't be able to get rid of this torture even at work?"

The two finally separate and smile at each other and Felix just roll his eyes to his brother-in-law.

"W-wait... You two?" one of the alphas says in shock.

The couple looks at him, Felix laughs. "Oh yeah, I have to finish telling you boys the news. As I was saying, I'm now mated and engaged and my alpha is Hyunjinnie" he says as his arms still crossed behind the dark-haired’s neck, exuding a unique aura of happiness.

It may seem petty, but Hyunjin feels like he has conquered the world at that moment. 

How many times has he wanted to throw in those alphas' faces that Felix is ​​his, how many times has he had to hold back while listening to the things they say about his omega, how many times has he wanted to scream in the middle of that office that none of them would ever touch the blond, because he belongs to Hyunjin and no one else.

And that’s why there, at the moment, he feels satisfaction take over his chest. 

After hiding for so long, he is there with Felix himself saying that they’re mated, that he is Hyunjin's and no one else's, that they are going to get married and he has to control himself to not let out the biggest cocky smile in the world as he sees the looks that mix surprise, frustration and envy. 

His alpha celebrates.

One of the alphas sits dramatically in the chair and Lino clears his throat. "You two are going to be late," the older alpha points out.

Hyunjin comes to his senses. "Oh, right. Come on, baby, he’s right, we're going to be late."

"True," the blond kisses him again. "Let's go. Bye, boys!" the omega says, taking the dark-haired man’s hand.

Satisfied, the alpha squeezes the small hand affectionately. "Gaeul, as I warned you before, I have some commitments now, if you need anything, call me."

The couple walks smiling towards the door to take the elevator. An aura of satisfaction seems to emanate from both of them. There's nothing like the feeling of being able to shout to the world that they belong together after months of being prevented from doing so. It's almost as if they're living a dream.

The others present just watch as they leave. "What the hell?" one of the alphas says.

Lino laughs. "Come on, it's not that surprising, you guys are just idiots. And I would just accept it and not think about it anymore if I were you all. Like, you'd want to crawl into a hole if you knew how much Felix went crazy over that alpha. I would really feel like a failure in your guys shoes.”

After saying this, Lino laughs one last time at the shocked faces and turns to go to his room and tell the gossip to his husband.

Not long after the big news at the office, the couple finds themselves in front of a big, shiny, mirrored building, having left Hyunjin's car in the adjacent parking lot. The day is hot, but with a refreshing breeze, with an energy that good things will happen for the couple.

Silently, they both tremble with happiness because they’re there for the baby's second appointment and they’re expecting to see a little bit more of their little dot. The first appointment was the week they found out about it and what they managed to see was something minimal, and of course that the alpha had burst into tears in front of the doctor as they saw it.

It was just a tiny speck of life against that black background, but it was enough to make Hyunjin's heart beat like never before, the beats rising to his throat and forming a knot that fought to undo in the form of many tears. He could only stare at the screen, look at Felix and think about how much he is the happiest alpha in the world.

Entering the elevator holding his fiance’s hand, Hyunjin begins to tremble, knowing that soon he will once again be seeing one of his new reasons for living. He can't wait, and it fills him with excitement.

"I know, my love. But you need to calm down before you have a heart attack and leave me alone to raise our baby." He tucks a strand of black hair behind Hyunjin's ear, smiles, and gives him a soft kiss.

The two enter the office, which is decorated in varnished wood and a very light cream color scheme. The impeccably clean walls are decorated with minimalist messages about pregnancy health and other pregnancy-related issues. Last time, the dark-haired man had been reading like a fool, wanting the best pregnancy for his omega – even if it was all a summary of materials Felix had already received.

They walk to the large reception desk and are greeted by a very polite beta who then informs the doctor that they are both there for their scheduled appointment.

The doctor attending them is also the one who has overseen both of Seungmin's pregnancies. She is an elegant omega, with a commanding voice and extremely attentive to her patients. She always answers every question perfectly and engages in in-depth conversations with the pregnant omegas and betas she takes care of.

This was wonderful for Felix at the first appointment, as even though he was extremely happy, he was just as nervous. It was also great for Hyunjin, as he recorded word for word what his omega needs during that time – most of the questions, in fact, came from him.

After the couple greets the doctor, they sit across from her at the table and a long conversation begins. She asks Felix in detail about the last days of his pregnancy. He comments that there haven't been many changes other than his mood and a few physical changes.

She also focuses heavily on the omega's diet, especially since Hyunjin, in the first appointment, said his eating habits were terrible and that the sugar content in his food was probably unhealthy for any human being, especially a pregnant omega.

And then, after much conversation, the moment the couple has been so eager for finally arrives: the time to see the baby again on the ultrasound.

Carefully, the dark-haired man helps Felix sit on the table. The gel that facilitates the glide of the device raises every hair on the blond's body because it's so cold and makes the alpha laugh at his beloved's shocked expression. He finds everything adorable. 

Watching a screen, the doctor then slides and slides the device, and as the images begin to become clearer, a smile appears on her face, which they both silently consider good news and a sign that the baby in Felix's belly is healthy.

However, Hyunjin watches the screen closely and begins to find it a little different from the ultrasound results of healthy babies he tirelessly searched for each week of pregnancy online, intending to become a great ultrasound expert.

He says nothing, just continues silently watching the doctor work. His eyes move repeatedly from Felix's dazed face, to the doctor's focused face and then to the screen in front of the three of them, while he tries not to open his mouth and cry again.

Finally, the doctor seems to want to break the silence, so she turns to the couple and smiles. "Well, everything seems great. I don't notice any negative anomalies. The development seems to be on time, the size seems normal. But, something is different."

Their eyes widened. Felix seems to struggle to understand what that could mean, and the dark-haired alpha's heart feels like it's about to leap out of his chest, knowing it doesn't seem so ordinary.

"Can you see this part here?" she says, pointing to the screen with her white silicone glove. "Normally, we would only have the embryo, or rather, only one embryo. However, look how, from this angle here," she moves her equipment slightly, "we can see two."

The doctor laughs tenderly. "As far as I know, Felix, you have a twin brother. Don't you?"

The omega taught him not only to love, but also to feel love in the most singular way possible. Every day, he shows Hyunjin how beautiful life with the one you love is and how many wonderful moments they can experience together. This would already be enough for the alpha, but Felix, without even trying, managed to go even further and give the alpha what he'd always dreamed of in the most perfect way possible.

The two quickly agree, still with smiles on their faces and tears of happiness in their eyes.

After a long conversation with the doctor, it's time to leave and the two leave the place even happier than they imagined. They look at the ultrasound prints with silly smiles on their faces, watching their two little ones with all the love in the world.

In the car, they discuss the best way to tell everyone: whether they should announce it in the most scandalous way possible, or share the good news individually. Naturally, they opt for the first one, because after the chaotic pregnancy announcement, they want to make this one special with the whole family.

The alpha calls his sister and essentially urges her to come over for dinner that night. Felix sends mild threats to his brothers and in-laws so they won't be late for dinner. They also choose a restaurant together to order as much food as possible.

Within minutes, they're practically planning a party. They stop at the grocery store and buy wine, champagne, flowers and huge balloons – which Hyunjin later regrets, as he ends up having to inflate them. 

By mid-afternoon, they're home, entering the silent mansion, as apparently neither Jisung, Jeongin, nor Changbin are on the floor. After dropping off their things in the kitchen, they head to the bedroom together to rest a bit before starting dinner.

However, within those four walls, Felix feels the urge to kiss his alpha to thank him until he can't take it anymore. So, that's what he does: he pulls Hyunjin close and surprises him with a deep, passionate kiss.

Because of their perfect connection, the dark-haired alpha instantly understands what the other wants to say. The amount of gratitude and love he wants to convey, which makes him smile during the kiss and, when it ends, gaze into the blond's eyes in the most tender way before starting the kiss again.

And then the kisses don't stop, but they begin to go deeper, becoming more intense and leaving them even more breathless. The omega smiles mischievously as Hyunjin slides his big, strong hands around his small waist. "What do you say we celebrate just the two of us before we start preparing dinner?"

Rolling his eyes, the blond omega pulls out a chair and sits down. "Idiot. You'll see when everyone arrives, and no more funny business, okay?" After saying that, he extends his arms to his alpha and comes closer to him.

Without a second thought, Hyunjin goes, and the freckled man hugs his hips, wanting his warmth. The commotion at the table unfolds in various ways. Seungmin, with his baby son in one arm, is left open-mouthed, Chan, Changbin, and Jeongin smile broadly, Jisung looks stunned in complete shock, Yeji’s eyes start to tear and Kibum rushes from his seat to hug his son.

"Wait, Papa, what's wrong?" Minji asks, curious about the reactions.

Chan smiles at the girl. "Princess, nothing is wrong, it’s just that Uncle Lix has two little babies in his belly."

The child stares at Felix being lovingly hugged by Kibum while Hyunjin watches, smiling. She glances at Jisung's shocked expression next to them, and then her gaze shifts to the two Minhos sitting nearby at the table. "Does that hurt? Is that why Uncle Lino and Grandpa are crying this much?"

At the comment, heads at the table turn toward the two alphas, even Felix through his tears. Everyone is shocked.

Jisung smirks. "Well, you'll see for yourself, but prepare yourself mentally. You're in for a tough ride. I personally gave up." Saying this, he starts walking toward the kitchen.

Leaving Seungmin in the living room, the alpha obeys Jisung and follows him, completely curious about what he's talking about.

And when he reaches the kitchen door, Jisung signals for him to observe discreetly, hiding beside it. Standing up, the blond starts walking toward Jisung. "I can't believe it, you betrayed me! How could you bring Jinnie here to take my sweets from me?" It’s possible to hear the drama starting in his tone.

And the other omega widens his eyes in apprehension, completely regretting having walked into the room with Hyunjin. "Lix, this is your fifth donut, you're going to die."

"No, I'm not, and they're medium size, right? It's not like they have the same amount of sugar as the big one." He crosses his arms over his chest and takes another bite of the sweet treat.

"Yeah, but it doesn't matter when you're going to eat a whole box." Jisung tries to reason with him.

Looking at the empty space in the box,he sees that the dark-haired omega actually seems to be right, and Felix really did eat a huge amount of sugar he shouldn't have. "Wait, Lix, fifth?"

The blond glances quickly at Hyunjin. "Yeah, but like I said, it's medium."

Approaching the counter, the alpha picks up the box and starts to close it. "Okay, that's enough for today, baby." 

The blond omega looks horrified.

"You two deal with it, I have better things to do," Jisung says and leaves the kitchen as quickly as possible.

Confused, the omega doesn't know whether to go after his brother to fight or behind Hyunjin to grab his box and finish eating the sweets he'd been craving all afternoon like crazy. He then growls in irritation.

Taking a deep breath to consider his next move, Felix turns to his financé. The omega then looks at Lino, then at Hyunjin, and then finally notices Jisung. He becomes enraged. How dare the three of them align themselves against him? "Okay. Okay. You three want to know? Enough, you're all mean. I'm tired. You’ll sleep on the floor today. As he says this, he holds Kibum's hand and looks from face to face, some curious like Jeongin, others anxious like Hyunjin, and others already smiling like Chan.

He sighs. "In the journey of working with clean businesses, one of our biggest obstacles is how to maintain our business and influence without being attacked by other families. How do we sustain ourselves without having to resort to our traditional methods to defend ourselves?"

In Felix's mind, this seems quite logical, even though he's never stopped to think about it, so he continues listening to his father's explanation. 

Minho continues, "To this end, under Chan's leadership, with Seungmin's planning, and using Lino and Hyune's intelligence team, we spent almost two years dedicated to collecting the most risky and important information about the other families to bargain for safety. It was difficult, it was truly risky and laborious. We dug into the craziest places, but today I'm happy to say that we've reached the end of this journey and now have perhaps the largest dossier on the history of the country's mafia families. The key to living freely."

Felix's mouth drops open, it truly does sound like an incredible job just listening to his father talk and he remembers Hyunjin's complicated missions, which are probably related to this.

The older alpha at the table smiles. "Kibum and I really wanted to thank you four for all your effort in helping me achieve this dream. We really couldn't have done it without you all, and well, I thought we deserved a celebration for the good work and our bright future prospects. So," he looks smiling at his husband, "can we start with a toast?"

And then they toast and toast happily. And then Hyunjin sits down and holds his omega's hand. He's happy, he couldn't be happier, and it's not just because he sees his efforts paying off.

He's happy because now he can truly dream, he can truly get excited and start planning a life with his omega, he can truly prepare to live the life he's always wanted, because it seems like that's what the universe wants to give him.

Hyunjin doesn't know what he did to deserve so many good things in his life, but he'll do everything he can to keep them, to improve even more, and to be grateful for everything, because he'll probably have the most perfect life in his hands, and it's all thanks to the omega by his side.

That night, cuddling together after a celebratory dinner and a nice bath, the two lie happily in bed, smiling like fools, both with sky-high expectations for their futures. Late at night, Felix wakes up thirsty and lovingly nudges his fiancé to get water from the kitchen, as the bedroom has run out – due to his pregnancy, the blond has been feeling thirsty like crazy.

Being the loving alpha that he is, Hyunjin gets out of bed and goes down to the kitchen to get water for his beloved. First, he takes the opportunity to drink water in the large, quiet kitchen, then fills the blond's bottles to return to the bedroom.

However, as he passes through the living room, he notices something he hadn't noticed on the way: on the balcony, there's someone, a silhouette of someone sitting in the dark, silently watching the sky.

Looking closely, he realizes it's Changbin, something he finds odd, as the other has impeccable habits: he sleeps well, eats well, and exercises well. It's truly strange to see him awake in the middle of the night, sitting alone for some reason.

Concerned, he walks over to his friend.

The older alpha is surprised to see Hyunjin opening the glass in the balcony door. "Oh, Hyune?"

"What are you doing all alone?" he asks.

At that moment, Changbin's gaze is almost blank, revealing a sadness the dark-haired man has never seen in his eyes. "Thinking," he laughs.

"What happened? You look sad."

And the older man sighs and laughs, his eyes looking tearful. "I don't know if it's sadness exactly, I think it's more like disappointment in myself."

The answer makes Hyunjin intrigued. "Disappointment?"

The other nods, "Disappointment for having made somewhat, ummm, let's say cowardly life choices."

"What do you mean?"

"But it's nothing serious, don't worry. Just another day of us being human and having to deal with our decisions." He smiles sadly.

The older alpha then stands and pats Hyunjin on the back, even though he's the one who needs comforting there. With Felix's water bottles in hand, Hyunjin just watches him. "Anyway, time to try to sleep. And you go take this to your omega right now before he starts running around the house after you," he enters through the glass door.

The other alpha remains there for a few moments, feeling both sad and empathetic towards his friend. Ever since he arrived at the house, Changbin has been amazing to him, and because of that, they've become great friends. He's always been cheerful, lively, playful, and a great person to be around, so it's strange and sad to see him like this.

However, Hyunjin can't pressure him into saying anything, so the alpha simply returns to his room and gives his omega his water, then cuddles and kisses him until he falls asleep again and sleeps peacefully.

But, Hyunjin can't help but think a lot about his friend and the out-of-character sadness he witnessed that night, because his empathetic heart truly wishes he could delve deeper into his feelings and help him.
