Felix and Hyunjin have a soft spot for the young omega. They want to take care of him, protect him, make his world easier and keep him out of trouble, so they just keep hiding the truth from him even though they both hate lying to him.

He glances to the side and sees Jeongin and Changbin talking to a beta, both of them competing for his attention or something – Felix never quite understands their strange dynamic and this moment is showing how they are. There's no sign of the younger omega returning to his seat any time soon and pulling his friends away from Hyunjin.

So he just swallows the sweet liquid in his glass and tries to control himself as the irritating voice continues to drift into his ear, even though it doesn't make any sense.

And honestly, he didn't even want to go out that day. Of course, he likes parties, bars, clubs, when he was in Paris, his life was really... pretty fun, but he’s feeling off and honestly, he really prefers to spend his night sneaking into the alpha's room to at least get some cuddles.

However, it turns out that Jeongin is craving attention. According to the ginger omega, Hyunjin simply dumped him. Before, they were together all the time, partying and finding new places to go, getting drunk and whatever. Now, the only thing the alpha does is find excuses to stay home.

He says the same about Felix. He couldn't wait for the blonde to come back so they could spend time together, to go out and have fun the way he seemed to have in Paris. But when Felix returned, he simply didn't want to do anything, he just wanted to play video games all the time and traded going out for cat videos, so he felt abandoned and alone.

And he's not wrong. 

Without realizing, Hyunjin and Felix spend all their free time trying to hide and be together, trying to find excuses to stay home until it’s safe to escape to each other's rooms and stay together. Unintentionally, they actually ended up neglecting the young omega, which is why they decided to accept his invitation to go to the new bar his college friends wanted to go to.

The blonde was relieved when Changbin and Jisung said they would go too, but the problem is, it was no use, because as soon as they arrived, his little brother's friends started gravitating towards his alpha.

And until now they’re there, smiling, making conversation, insisting even though it is clear that Hyunjin is not even enjoying talking to them that much, even though it is clear that the only thing the alpha is exuding is politeness.

He once again fakes a laugh, feigning interest in the alpha's uninteresting chatter next to him, and tries to look away from Hyunjin. Jisung, who's chatting with one of Jeongin's classmates about some famous producer, places his hand on his thigh in support. Felix sighs. I hate this so much, I don't know how much longer I can hold on , he thinks as the voice continues to enter his ears and irritate him even more.

Then, a few minutes later, his patience snaps.

Everything seems to happen at once. The nice and cool indie pop music that starts playing seems overstimulating. The voices seem to get louder, people seem to be talking even more and the sounds are mixing together. The worst part is that when he glances quickly at the dark-haired alpha, one of the omegas is moving even closer to him, almost whispering in his ear, placing a hand on his chest.

When the heat of anger rises through his body, before he can raise his gaze from the omega's hand to Hyunjin's face to see his alpha's reaction, the other alpha next to him begins to release his scent in a desperate attempt to attract Felix's attention. It's not much, but he feels it, and he hates it. The sensation is that his nostrils burn and what he inhales goes straight to his stomach, making him want to throw up.

It's too much, everything is too much for him. Then his impulses react. "Can you stop with the damn scent?" he says in a half-loud voice without thinking.

The eyes at the table, including Hyunjin's and the two omegas, turn to him. The strange alpha next to him looks startled. He really just reacted without realizing how intense it would be.

Those are agonizing seconds. He really didn't want to act that way. He wanted to politely walk away from that scent and that alpha. He didn't want those shocked, judgmental looks on him. Everything feels fucked.

He stands up. "I... I'm sorry," he says in a weak tone and heads in a hurry toward the bar exit.

The walk is shameful and nervous as the others watch him. When he leaves, he heads towards the parking lot to try to get some air and calm down. So he stops near a white big car, a little bit hidden, feeling a lump in his throat as his trembling hands groping in the pocket of his expensive pants for his cigarette.

Finding it, he lights up and with the first puff, he feels his tears starting to come. He looks off into the distance, trying to calm himself, trying not to let the tears rise. But, what he doesn't expect is a voice reaching him. "Lixie," Hyunjin's voice says, coming closer to him.

He doesn't turn to see the alpha approaching, so he just stands there. Confused, his eyes seem to water even more, and his lips begin to tremble as he tries to hold back the sobs that are growing louder at the sound of the other's voice.

Hyunjin's hand touches his arm, and soon the alpha is standing in front of him. "Hey baby, come here," he pulls Felix into a hug. The cigarette falls from his tiny fingers. "I'm sorry, okay? I was just talking at first, but..."

"You're an idiot." Felix says without even thinking. He's hurt, angry, embarrassed.

It doesn't even cross Hyunjin's mind to question the omega. "I know."

The crying starts to intensify. It's more than jealousy, it's a cry of frustration. 

He hates it, he hates feeling helpless in this kind of situation, because he knows Hyunjin wouldn't do anything, but he also knows it would be so much easier if they didn't have to pretend they were free and single.He wants people to know, he wants no one to even come near the other because they know Hyunjin is his and no one else's.

He wants to be able to walk into scenes like this and intervene regardless of where they are or who they're with – even though he knows he doesn't even need to. "It's just so frustrating, having to watch, pretending everything's okay. I know you'd find a way to get out of there, but you take so long because you're so fucking stupid and too polite. I know that we need to do things this way, but this shitty life of having to hide it is what gets us into this, and I'm so tired. I just wish I didn't have to worry about it, you know?"

The alpha's heart sinks. He understands what Felix is ​​saying, and he knows it hurts. Ideally, he shouldn’t have to deal with that kind of situation. "Lix, baby, we just need to do this for a little while longer, don't think about it too much. I know it hurts-"

He leaves his alpha embrace "Do you know? Because if you knew, you wouldn't be asking me to wait again. This is so unfair, it's horrible, it's suffocating and… I’m sorry, Hyunjin, but I don't know how much longer I can take it."

And that's when Hyunjin's heart nearly stops. He knows it could be the emotion of the moment, that Felix is ​​just feeling overwhelmed, but just thinking about the possibility that it's true that he really can't take it anymore makes the alpha almost faint. 

His mouth goes dry and his breathing becomes labored. "Hey, Lix, calm down," he says quickly, almost desperately.

"Everything is such a shit, Hyunjin. I just wanted to be happy, I just wanted us to be able to live this, but damn, it feels like there's no way out. We can’t even go out without this kind of mess happening, without me getting hurt" His words are slurred and he's crying. "How long will I have to keep feeling so limited? Why do we keep insisting on this if we can't find a solution?"

And it feels like someone took a hammer and started hitting the alpha's head and a pair of scissors and started stabbing his heart. "Lix, baby..." He tries to hug Felix again, who pulls his arm away.

"No. Stop. I don't want you to hug me..." The hurt in his voice is clear. “I… I just need you to leave me alone and to go home”

It's suffocating. The night air temperature seems to drop suddenly and the atmosphere denser. Every breath Hyunjin takes is painful, his lungs feel strange, freezing. His blood doesn't seem to run hot to warm his body, yet his hands start to sweat, he starts to sweat. 

The view seems to grow darker in his eyes, but not because the sky is darkening, but because the moon and stars seem to have stopped shining, leaving everything gloomy, dark, almost terrifying. It feels like he’s living a real nightmare.

At the same time, his alpha seems sad and furious, feeling unacceptable about the fact that his omega won't let him hug him and take his pain away because of his own fault, because he can't do what his omega wants.

The only thing he can feel it’s that he can't leave things like this. 

As scary as everything seems after those words, he has to give everything he has to not lose the other. He has to give everything he has to make Felix's pain stop. The pain and sadness don't seem to fit in that figure in front of him, so he needs to make the right feelings radiate in the other again. He needs to calm Felix, he needs to stop his pain and not let the blonde leave him, but he doesn't know what to do.

Why is everything so difficult? What should I do? He wonders as a part of him begins to nudge him, telling him that the only solution is to risk everything right now. However, the other part of him holds him back, and the mix of feelings makes him dizzy, and the only thing he can be sure it’s that what he's feeling is despair.

Then, without him realizing, tears begin to stream from his eyes, and each one seems to drain a bit of his strength. With each tear, a part of his body seems to get weaker, a thought of his mind seems to stop flowing.

And as Felix turns and starts walking away, Hyunjin falls weakly to his knees. 

The sound of his knees colliding with the asphalt makes the omega turn around in alarm and notices the dark-haired man staring at him, on his knees, tears streaming down his beautiful face frozen with fear. 

Felix has never seen an expression of fear like that, never seen someone's desperation so clear. Never in his life did he think an alpha would react this way to the slightest chance of losing him. Because of it, it doesn't take much for him to regret what he said, even though deep down he knows nothing will take him away from Hyunjin, not even in that kind of situation. 

"Hyunjinnie..." he says almost in a whisper and quickly returns to the other.

When the blonde reaches the kneeling alpha, he is surprised by the other's hands holding his legs and pressing his tear-stained face against him, staining his blue jeans. "Please, don't do this. I'm an idiot, I don't know what to do, but... Please. Lix, I don't want to be without you." he sobs.

The omega's mind struggles to find a reaction. Hyunjin seems so sincere, so vulnerable. He never thought he'd see an alpha in this situation, begging, showing all his weakness, not even trying to hide it.

At the same time his heart feels happy. He can't help but be happy with the fact that someone who can hide everything so well, is always so genuine with him, opens up so much to him, shows all his emotions without thinking twice. Hyunjin is so sweet and emotional.

That’s  my alpha , he thinks and smiles weakly, because in the end, that's why he fell in love with the romantic, sensitive, sentimental Hyunjin and of course, the Hyunjin he loves would have no problem being in that situation, kneeling, crying desperately to not to be abandoned.

Gently, he lowers himself until he's closer to the man kneeling before him. "Hyunjinnie," he places a hand on his tear-stained face, "calm down, it's okay."

"I'd rather die than be without you, but I don't want to die just to not be without you... I want to, like, run away, but I don't want to leave my sister. I want to tell the truth, and I'm ready for any punishment, but I'm afraid my punishment will be something like being away from you, so... I... I don't know," he says, tearful “I don’t know what to do, Lix, and this kills me too. I just want to be with you, I swear”.

Felix kisses the alpha on the forehead. "I understand, I understand you, my alpha. I just... I'm sorry I got angry because our situation sometimes it’s too much to deal with, and the things tonight really got me. I got jealous and felt cornered, but I'm here, and I'll stay with you, okay? No matter how hard it is, no matter how tired I get of the situation, it doesn't matter. I'll stay with you," he says sweetly. “I'm sorry I let those things out when I was nervous, but in the end I'll never leave you, never, I swear”

His eyes stare into Hyunjin's with a loving, understanding gaze. His hand runs up his hair, smoothing it, then goes down to his neck and there, he pulls his alpha slightly closer and places his soft lips on his, giving him a lovely, warm kiss.

It's as if a sedative has been injected into the alpha's bloodstream because he instantly relaxes at the feel of those pretty heart-shapped lips on his. He reciprocates, happy and satisfied, understanding and grateful. As the kiss ends, they both smile.

The blonde stands up, gently holding Hyunjin's hands, helping him to his feet as well. "Shall we go home?" he asks with a smile.

"Of course, I'll text Jisung to come up with something for the others," Hyunjin replies, wiping away his tears.

That night, the two don't even have sex. They just lie in the blonde's room, cuddled together in Felix’s pink sheets as if their lives depended on being held in each other's arms. They can't even sleep, wanting to feel each other's warmth and afraid it will end if they sleep.

The freckled omega begins to think about that night, how much he needs to balance his insecurities and desires with their reality, while also feeling happy that Hyunjin feels so much for him, even if in a chaotic way.

"When are you going to take me to meet your sister?" the blonde asks as he strokes Hyunjin's long dark hair while they keep hugging and are watching a random movie in a low volume just to keep cuddling. The alpha is taken aback by the question. 

He and Felix have talked a lot about Yeji, but they've never officially talked about the omega meeting his family officially. Besides, the question seems to be... sudden, especially after that chaotic night. "Whenever you want, of course! But did this desire come out of nowhere?" 

"I know it was really out of nowhere, but I don't know, it just came to me," he answers something that isn't a lie, but has much more behind it. 

The problem is that Felix knows that their little paradise is starting to be poked here and there by some turbulent feelings like the ones from hours before. They love each other and he knows it, but it seems that the longer they exist together as a secret, the more fragile they will be. 

He needs people to know that they belong to each other. It's an urgency in his heart, even though he rationally knows it's impossible, so the only thing he thinks he can do it’s to look for these little ways for them to assert themselves as a couple. At least one more person knowing and seeing them together seems like something that would help Felix's desire.

He's a little apprehensive about trying to explain, but his thoughts are interrupted by Hyunjin. "If you want, let's arrange it." The alpha smiles. "I'd love for you two to meet; you're the most important people in the world to me."

And Felix’s heart rejoices at the answer.

Days later, he meets at an expensive cozy coffee shop with Yeji and Hyunjin for a pleasant afternoon. 

The omega drinks his macchiato while listening to the world's most ridiculous stories about his alpha and laughing alongside the other omega. Hyunjin, even though embarrassed, watches them the entire time with the most affectionate gaze in the world.

And it's good, it's really good. Maybe in the end, it was truly necessary. A quiet time, with someone else, sharing feelings and not letting their bond fray. A peaceful time with another person from whom they don’t need to hide, being just a regular young couple of lovers.

Something renews itself within them, and they feel ready to move forward. Of course they are still thinking about how to solve their complicated situation, but learning to take breaks that help them move forward.

The smell of spices fills the kitchen, the sound of meat sautéing is loud and the smoke wafts slightly as Seungmin busily cooks, watched by a calm Jeongin, simply eating a piece of strawberry cake next to little Jooyeon, who's playing with a toy in the highchair.

It's almost lunchtime, and Seungmin has to make his children's food after being late that morning. To be honest, he was late for a good reason, he was late because he had to be. His week was heavy and destroyed him, so Chan noticed his tiredness and decided to take the couple's oldest daughter for a walk to let the omega rest. Since Jooyeon is a calm baby, he simply fell asleep next to his father.

Combining his need for rest with the calm of the morning, he ended up late to the other chores. He knows that at any moment Minji will arrive, and Jooyeon will soon start fussing about eating.

Seungmin loves having children, opposite to what many imagined before. But having children in a day with only twenty-four hours is a challenge, even though he has a husband who takes care of everything alongside him, sometimes even more.

"Dad, look what papa gave me," Minji says, entering the kitchen as Chan walks behind her, shaking her black hair and handing a doll to Seungmin. 

The omega turns and looks at the object in the child's small hands and frowns. 

The doll is not ordinary and cute, the way a child's toy should be. Her head is big, really big, her eyes are even bigger, she is pale and has big eyelashes, freckles and a lot of blush. At least he can see that the details are impeccable, both in her hair and her clothes. 

It’s just that the doll is definitely not a toy, but something that would be in some spinster aunt's collection. "Jesus Christ, Minjinnie, why is she so ugly?" he blurts out without thinking. 

The child's gaze contains a singular indignation "She's not ugly, she's beautiful and elegant. She looks like a pretty princess" the little girl snaps, giving her father a superior and provocative look. "And she's prettier than Yeonie," she turns her gaze to the baby who smiles at Chan who plays with him absentmindedly. It's like she’s a little wolf attacking her own brother to defend her litter. 

"Hey! You can't call your brother ugly," Seungmin scolds her.

Looking at him and then back to Jeongin, she simply replies, "Uncle Ayen says you're ugly."

"She's totally right. You are ugly," the younger omega laughs as he puts a piece of cake in his mouth.

Seungmin sighs. Minji's personality is getting stronger and stronger every day. According to Chan, she's becoming more and more like the omega, which Seungmin says it’s bullshit. For him, her problem is living with a bunch of dysfunctional adults with peculiar personalities.

"So if he can call you ugly, I can call Yeonie ugly too," she shrugs. The fact that she now forms concise sentences and engages in conversations is not making his life easier.

That's a problem , the omega thinks as he sees that she's starting to understand the concept of justification in the worst possible way. "No, you can't," he says matter-of-factly, "your uncle isn't the best role model in the world, you have to be a good big sister. Look, I was joking when I said your doll is ugly, she's beautiful and… Has a nice dress," he smiles at the child. "Later we'll find a nice place for her to rest in your room when you're not playing with her, okay? Then she can be exposed and everyone can admire her beauty."

The concept of raising a child. Seungmin thinks it's easier to plan the invasion of a cocaine cartel in the family's enemies' most hostile area than to raise a little person, especially when he wants to raise a good and responsible little person. 

He always has to stay two steps ahead so as not to make mistakes like the one he made now and he always has to be ready to correct his mistakes before she absorbs them. He always has to be aware of the worst parts of his own personality and contain them so that they don't influence his daughter. It's an insane and heavy job, especially for him who has never minced his words.

The experience has taught him a lot. To be honest, he sometimes thinks he's taught him too much, especially because Minji seems to be getting smarter for Seungmin's own good. He sighs and watches her reaction.

"I want to put her on my bed, I want to sleep close to her," she says.

"Perfect, wherever you want. But first, apologize to your brother for saying he's ugly and apologize sincerely."

The little girl sighs. "Okay," she walks over to the little boy and climbs onto the chair next to him and kisses his hairless head. "I'm sorry, Yeonie,I don't think you're ugly. You're cute." The baby smiles and waves his arms excitedly at his sister's affection.

"That’s my princess, always correct and polite" Chan pets the girl's head.

Jeongin watches the scene and smiles while Seungmin breathes a sigh of relief. "Perfect," Seungmin says, satisfied, "now go to the living room and play with your Uncle Felix and Uncle Hyunjin. Daddies have to finish cooking your lunch and those two have nothing else to do with their lives."

"Okay!" She says without complaining and gets down from the chair. Shaking her black hair and holding her doll, she walks towards the living room.

After the girl leaves, Jeongin lets out a laugh, "She's really speaking so well. It's scary."

The older omega between the two rolls his eyes. "She's speaking too well, more than she should, and I call that a nightmare," he sighs, "that said, be careful what you say around her now... Please," he politely asks his brother.

The younger one watches his brother. Seungmin has always been polite, but he's always been imposing. He's always done what he wants. Him asking for help so sincerely for the sake of his daughter's education makes Jeongin smile. It seems like someone is learning a few things, uhhh , he thinks. "Sure, I promise I'll take care."

The little girl walks into the living room, going to do what her father told her: to play with her uncles. She likes to play with Felix and Hyunjin, although sometimes she finds them a little... Silly. In her opinion, Jooyeon is the one who gets along best with them, but anyway she loves them both, especially Hyunjin.

The two are sitting together on the couch watching videos on the blonde's tablet while holding themselves back from exchanging caresses while other people are in the house with them – even though the alpha's hands sometimes go to Felix's exposed thighs and slide his hand gently just to enjoy him a bit.

The omega smiles when the other is surprised by something that happens in the video they are watching when their attention is caught by a childish voice approaching them. "Dad told me to play with you so he can make food" her round eyes stare at the two.

"Minjinnie!" Felix exclaims and smiles at the child. "Sure, we'll play with you." 

The alpha nods, "Come on out here with us." Hyunjin points to a spot between the two of them. 

She quickly climbs onto the couch and sits between the two with her new doll on her lap. She strokes the doll's blonde hair and smiles. She really finds long hair and huge eyes beautiful.

"And who’s this princess in your hands?" Hyunjin asks when he sees the girl smiling at the doll. 

"It's a gift my papa gave me when we went to the mall today. She's beautiful, isn't she?" 

The alpha approaches to show interest in the doll and make Minji happy.  "Sure, she looks like a princess with that blonde hair," he says, even though the doll's eyes and pale skin are a little... peculiar.

Felix particularly finds the doll interesting, something that would be beautiful in a collection, but that wouldn't usually be pleasant for a child.

"Yes! She does" the little girl says and then looks at her blond uncle "She looks like Uncle Lix, look at her eyes and her hair" she points to the round eyes of the omega who almost chokes on the comment.

Hyunjin laughs. "You're absolutely right" he teases "she even has freckles"

"Yes, she looks like his daughter," Minji says.

The dark-haired man looks at Felix from the corner of his eye and smiles "Yes, they really do look like"

Felix doesn't know whether to take it as a compliment or not, but he's not the one who's going to disagree with his niece. "Well, she has a great sense of style just like mine... I think"

"I had an idea, she and I are going to be the daughters, Uncle Lix will be the mommy and Uncle Hyune will be the daddy"

The two look at each other a little embarrassed. 

It's an innocent child's idea, but considering how many times the two have said things about... puppies at the height of their excitement, it all ends up being a bit ironic. "Okay..." Hyunjin says "Let's play like... A family… Like Lix and I having… Children…"

And then the family roleplay in the most torturously domestic way begins. The little girl makes the two sit on the floor with her and begins to guide them in situations that she considers family-related, and the fact that Chan is the example of a husband and father in the child's mind doesn't make it any easier for Hyunjin.

According to the little girl, he has to hold Felix's hand at all times, stroke his hair, tell him how beautiful he is, and cook for him in the toy kitchen that she sent the alpha to get from her room.

When the fake food is ready, she makes Hyunjin feed Felix, herself, and the doll, and he almost dies of a heart attack when the blonde pretend to eat it and and say that’s delicious and even said that he is the best alpha in the world for having done something so good for him and his daughters. The omega has a lot of fun seeing the other's face turn intensely red.

However, Hyunjin gets his revenge when the little girl says that Felix has to put them both to sleep and when they fall asleep Hyunjin has to congratulate his omega by saying that he is 'a good omega'. When these words left the dark-haired man’s red lips, Felix's heart almost stops and his ears burns.

“Now before you go to work you have to kiss Uncle Felix on the hand” she explains to Hyunjin as they continue their torturous game “and Uncle Felix you have to kiss him on the cheek so he can go to work happy”

The two stare at each other in silence, Minji doesn’t know the dangerous place she is taking them both to. “Okay…” Hyunjin says with fear and then stretches out his hand asking for Felix’s. “Felix…”

“Love, you have to call him love, I already told you” she rolls her eyes impatiently because they don’t follow what she says.

The alpha sighs. “Love… Okay. Love, I’m going to work” he brings Felix’s small hand to his lips and gives it a soft kiss and ends up enjoying the soft feeling of the omega’s hands while hating Chan for being a good example of affection for the girl.

When he looks at the omega he smiles shyly and his cheeks are adorably red. "Okay, honey, I'll see you later then..." he kneels down and leans in shyly, approaching the dark haired man’s face and then gives him a light kiss on the cheek.

In the last few months, the two of them have done a lot of dirty things, really dirty and without any shame, without blushing like they are right now. Who would have thought that a simple, completely innocent kiss had the power to leave them both almost exploding, with their faces red and their hearts racing. Hyunjin even feels like he's starting to sweat.

But, their life is a joke and the two of them don't even have time to recover. "Uhhh, what is this?" Kibum's voice interrupts the moment and when they see the older omega standing there next to his husband.

The two of them hurry to separate quickly and sit down. Their hearts are racing with fright and fear. Their heads start to race and they can't think of how to get around the situation, even though none of it was their idea.

"Grandpas!" the girl says excitedly and gets up running to hug Minho's leg.

He bends down and hugs his granddaughter affectionately, even though he's still confused by the scene "my princess!"

"Look" she separates and runs to get the new doll and takes it to her grandparents "papa bought it for me, she's beautiful, right? Since she looks like Uncle Felix I said that she and I are the daughters and they're both the daddies"

Kibum looks around at everyone present at the moment while Minho observes the doll. "She really looks like Yongbok. They have those… unique eyes?” the alpha laughs.

"Daddy!" the blonde says indignantly.

"I mean... They're adorable" he hurries to say.

Kibum sighs with relief after understanding the situation. "Ah, I see, so you're playing family?" he makes sure to state so that there are no misunderstandings.

"Yep!" the child responds excitedly.

The younger alpha feels as if a weight is being lifted off his shoulders. Thankfully, even without knowing the dangers of the situation, Minji was quick to explain that it was all a game for fun and saved the couple from saying something stupid or showing nervousness trying to explain themselves.

"Minjinnie, your food is ready. You can leave those two idiots alone now... I mean, you can stop playing with your uncles now," Seungmin's voice comes closer. "Oh, dads, you're here." 

And thank God, just like this, soon everyone there disperses. 

Felix goes to the kitchen with Seungmin, his parents go to the bedroom to put away their purchases, and Hyunjin offers to take the child's toys to the bedroom. Everything is resolved at that moment without any further questions. 

Later, the omega calls Hyunjin to his room to play games. The two sit side by side facing the TV, their shoulders touching, Felix's leg slightly draped over the other's, and there's something in that atmosphere begging for things to be said.

They decide to do more than one test of different brands just for conscience clearance. So, with his legs shaking, a terrified Felix goes to Jisung's bathroom with the boxes and he carefully does the whole procedure. When he finishes it, he places it on a piece of toilet paper and waits. 

Minutes later, it's time for the first revelation.

The atmosphere of apprehension that has settled over the place is intense. If someone with calm emotions and complete well-being were to enter there, they would probably be immediately overcome by apprehension and fear.

Silently, the two almost consider giving up and pretending it was all a momentary madness, as if if they don't discover the truth, nothing will happen. They can just ignore it. But they can’t do it and they know that they need to be certain of it when they look at the two small objects. Unfortunately, they have to face it.

The two tests are side by side. The two twins are shaking like they've never shaken in their lives, the older one feels like he's going to throw up at any moment, the younger one feels like he's going to faint. 

Tears start to go down in Felix’s beautiful face.

Seeing his brother cry, Jisung runs to hug him and holds one of his hands. "It's okay, let's find out if it's real and then we'll figure it out, okay? I'm here for you, share your fear and nervousness with me and I promise I'll make everything work out."

Felix loves his brother so much. He loves that no matter what happens in his life, he knows Jisung will care for him, hold his hand and try to make everything better, even if it seems impossible. The moment is terrifying, but he couldn't be more grateful to be doing this with his twin, one of the people who gives him the most strength in the world.

The crying gets even louder, but it comes out more lightly from Felix's chest, who squeezes his brother's hand for courage. "Okay, let's see," he says weakly and sniffs to try to make the crying stop.

He takes a deep breath, and so does Jisung. The older twin feels the sweat starting to form on his brother's hand that is holding his own. It's as if a life is passing so quickly and happening in seconds inside that lavender-scented bathroom. Everything can change right there in that moment without them even having time to consider how big it is, how big the real impact will be depending on what they discover. It's breathtaking.

They get closer to the tests and it seems like something has come out of their stomachs because when they focus, there it is: two lines on both tests, red, clear and strong, as if they didn't want to leave any doubts for the two nervous omegas. Not even if they wanted to, they wouldn't be able to interpret it any other way.

Felix’s legs lose his strength, he shivers and feels his body give way. Luckily for him, his brother acts quickly and holds him. "Hey, calm down, Lixie, calm down." He says, knowing that it's impossible to be calm at the moment, it's more like an attempt at comfort. "I said we'll figure it out, okay?" He pulls Felix into a hug.

"Jiji… Daddy's going to kill Hyunjin." he burst into tears, in painful tears.

The pregnancy itself is not the problem for the omega. For weeks now, he's even seeing the idea as something exciting. The problem is their context and it hurts to know that something that should be so good, something that he and Hyunjin had already said they wanted, something that should make them happy, now seems so terrible. It hurts to know that Hyunjin's biggest wish is now something that could make him suffer so much.

Being pregnant will make the whole situation worse for him and Hyunjin, hiding it will become basically impossible. He'll need to think of something to save his alpha, because he can't let anything bad happen to the man he loves.

Jisung understands right away. He, personally, would be freaking out about a surprise pregnancy, but of course for Felix the main problem is his alpha's safety. 

Those two tests are basically proof that Hyunjin may be about to suffer the worst that can happen to anyone. Those two tests are proof that Hyunjin lied and betrayed Minho's trust, breaking the biggest rule that the alpha imposed on all his subordinates. He can't even imagine the worry and fear that invaded his twin's heart at that moment.

However, he can't weaken, he needs to be firm for Felix. "Lixie, calm down. Let's do two more, okay? If they're positive, we'll also talk to Lino, Chan, Min, God knows who else and we'll find a way, okay? I promise you. It'll work out."

The blonde cries, sobs, but agrees with his brother. Using the little strength he has left in his body, he drinks some more water and makes two more attempts, begging the heavens that everything was just a mistake, a coincidence or even just a very realistic nightmare.

But, unfortunately, when the new results appear, the two risks are once again there facing the blonde, clearly challenging Felix's sanity, who just wants to throw it away and pretend that everything was an outburst and that none of this happened.

And something seems to tighten in his throat, his mind seems to start to empty as a coping mechanism for the situation. The only thing he can do is cry, if he tries any other thing he will just explode.

Seeing his brother's state, Jisung searches inside himself for how to comfort him, how to try to do something for him. "Come here, Lixie" he gently pulls the omega by the hand and leads him to sit on the bed.

When he settles Felix in place, he hugs him, silently indicating to the other omega that he is there to bear whatever reaction his brother will have. Understanding the message, Felix hugs him tightly too and then lets out all his tears.

It's scary. Jisung has never seen anyone cry like this. It's so desperate that he can't even explain the anguish of hearing the state his brother is in, but he knows that he has to endure it. For his twin, he shares whatever feeling he has, no matter how painful it is for him too.

Felix cries, sobs, sniffles, screams muffled into his brother's shoulder. He pulls the other and squeezes him, tries everything he can to feel lighter, but nothing seems to help. The only thing that helps him in the slightest is the way his brother gently caresses his back, trying to ease his pain.

It feels like everything in his life is falling apart so fast that he doesn't have time to run and save anything. It feels like someone is dunking his head underwater until it enters his lungs and he suffocates in the most painful way possible. It feels like life is ready to take away what's most precious to him without any mercy.

His head feels like it's being filled with a hurricane of the worst possible possibilities, a big, powerful hurricane ready to devastate everything in his way, to sweep away any shred of hope he might have.

He wants to run until his legs give up, to scream until his throat explodes and then ask someone to hit him square in the head until those thoughts start to disappear, until his mind becomes empty so he can stop thinking. Why did it have to be this way? Why did it have to be with me? It's the only thing he can think of alongside his automatic desire to go back in time and change everything.

And after a lot of desperate crying, it seems like he finally has the strength to say something. "Ji, I... I need to find a way, think of something," he sobs, "this pregnancy-"

However, whatever he was trying to say at that moment is interrupted by the door to Jisung's room opening wide. "Pregnancy?" Jeongin's voice says in shock. The youngest omega watches the two of them confused, with his fake ginger hair standing on in shock and with his foxy eyes wide open.

Damn, I didn't close this shit properly , Jisung thinks, angry at himself for having just come in desperate and forgotten to make sure. "Wait, Ayen," he tries to say something before his brother asks more questions, but it's too late.

Jeongin's striking eyes alternate between looking at the desperate twins and the boxes of pregnancy tests on the bed. Seeing Felix's state, it's not hard to conclude which of the two is going through the situation. Without reacting, he just closes the door and goes into the room.

His mouth is dry. If his brother is crying like that, it's because that surprise may not be desired. "Lixie, what's up? Why are you doing these tests and why are you crying like this? Why are you talking about pregnancy?" he gets nervous.

"Ayen, calm down" Jisung tries to intervene. Damn, did things have to get this bad? He wonders.

"Calm down? Lixie is in despair, what's going on?" But then he puts the pieces together and realizes that he knows what's going on. "Are you really pregnant?" he says in a way that tries to be calm.

The blonde omega's eyes tear up even more. He just nods and Jisung sighs.

Then comes the worst part for Jeongin. The part where he doesn't want to confirm something that he's been suspecting for weeks. "Who's the father?" he says without changing his tone, but the answer he gets is his brother's breathing accelerating with his crying.

If this is real, everything will turn into a nightmare , the omega thinks with a lot of fear. Jeongin has been suspicious of his brother's relationship with a specific person, but every time he did everything he could to put the idea aside because the possibility of it being real scared him for both their sakes.

It can't be , he tells himself, but he knows, he feels that unfortunately he might be right. "Lixie. It's Hyunjin, isn't it?"

Felix freezes. Hiding from Jeongin was one of the couple's priorities, as they didn't want to involve him in the lie any further, especially due to the sense of protection they both have for the younger omega. Therefore, hearing those words from him put the blonde against the wall. 

He finds himself at a crossroads, and while he still thinks it's important not to involve his younger brother, it's also difficult for him to lie to a direct question. Hiding was already difficult, now lying like this seems even worse, he hates lying to his brothers. 

The blond omega's heart tightens even more. As if all the whirlwind of things weren't enough, Jeongin appears at the worst possible moment. "Ayen..." he tries to say something with a shaky voice, but he has no idea what to say. 

Jeongin laughs nervously. "Of course it is. I saw how different everything was between you two, it was obvious actually, but I never wanted to believe that you were hiding it from me... In the end, you really were." 

He becomes an even bigger ball of nervousness when he hears his brother's hurt tone. At no point they wanted to hide it, they had to hide it to protect him from this chaos. However it really is understandable that the youngest feels this way, but Felix cannot allow it. "We didn't want to hurt you, we didn't hide it because we wanted to, it was to protect you" he stands up. 

"Hey, hey, hey. Let's stop here" Jisung intervenes before Jeongin’s answer because he knows that this is not the time to air that dirty laundry, they have a much bigger problem in their hands. "This is not the time for this, okay. Ayen, I know you must be hurt that they hid it, Lixie I know you had your reasons, but right now our focus has to be different"

The two omegas look at each other. Jeongin can see the distress and guilt in his brother's teary eyes and something inside him turns. Felix has always been so careful and loving with him, even though he feels hurt for being deceived and that the reasons are not enough for him, Jisung is right and that this is not the time, his brother has to be the priority.

He sighs. "You're right, Ji. I'm sorry, Lix, I just... Let's leave this aside, we have more important things right now." 

The blond omega's heart beats with relief. It's as if in that fallen pile of disasters, at least one foundation is holding firm, Jeongin showing understanding really brings him the slightest bit of relief. He would rather the world stop spinning than have to deal with one of his brothers hurt by him. "Thank you, brother and I'm sorry." 

"Let's just not talk about this now, okay? We have to think about what we're going to do." 

And honestly, Felix has no idea of what he should do. He doesn't even know where he should start thinking. He doesn't know if he should run to Hyunjin or find a way to deal with everything alone so as not to put him at risk. It's the worst feeling he's ever had in his life.

The worst thing of all is knowing that if they were in a normal situation, this could be the best moment of their lives, especially because the alpha would be fulfilling one of his most precious dreams. But by now, it could be the reason for the worst to happen to his life and Felix thinks that this is so unfair.

He sits down again, feeling his body weak. Jisung sits down next to him and reaches for his hand to hold it, trying to reassure his twin. His throat feels a lump forming once again, and the urge to cry resurfaces. "I... I have no idea what to do." 

"We need to take you to a doctor first," Jeongin says, "regardless of what we will do, we need to get a test result from a professional." 

The oldest of the brothers nods, "I think we need to talk to Seungmin and ask for his help,he understands about it more than us. Like, really more." 

The youngest omega arches his eyebrow, "so he knows too," he says without thinking much. 

"He found out, it's Seungmin, you know how impossible it is to hide something from him," the blonde justifies himself. 

"Focus, you two," the third brother intervenes again, "I'll call him and asks him to come home because we have an emergency and then we'll find a way to take you to the doctor, okay?"

And that's what they do. Jisung calls the fourth brother, who, just by hearing the distress in his voice, understands that the situation is truly an emergency and finds a way to run home.Thank God the four have always had a connection that always shows when they are needed by each other and that makes them drop everything and prioritize each other.

Then Seungmin with a heavy, worried feeling runs to the house as soon as possible and after arriving and hearing the news, he finds himself at first speechless. It's one of the worst scenarios that could happen, he doesn't even want to believe what they tell him. It's desperate and his mind's first reaction is to become a mess of the worst possibilities, of fears.

But when he finally manages to start thinking, he has to control himself a lot to keep from starting to lecture his brother, because he can't believe how careless he was, how he and Hyunjin let something so stupid happen knowing how difficult their relationship already is.

What happens is that even though he's not the oldest, he's always been the most responsible of the four. He always knew how to stop the twins from messing around and jumping into the shittiest things and always took care of the youngest brother. Lecturing Felix was something that hasn't happened once or twice and everything is screaming to him to do it again. But he doesn't.

Beyond being responsible, Seungmin, even with his more skittish nature, has always been overflowing with empathy, especially for his brothers. It doesn't take much for him to know that even though Felix has been irresponsible, the priority there is to find a way for things to end well and take care of him and the new life inside him. 

In the end, Seungmin's reaction is to hug his brother with affection and care, trying to give him at least a little security.

After trying to calm down the blond omega and provide him with some reassurance, he begins to think along with the others and agrees with Jeongin that he should pursue a professional outcome before taking any action.

Seungmin manages to contact his doctor and schedules the exam for the next morning and for the rest of that day, the three brothers focus on trying to calm Felix down and try to make him believe at least a little that everything will be okay.

Hyunjin spent the afternoon with an unsettling feeling. At no point did he manage to understand why. The food tasted strange, he couldn't finish his coffees letting it become cold and he couldn't concentrate enough to work. Everything got worse when he got home and could feel his omega's nervousness.

No words were needed. It wasn't even necessary for him to look into the omega's eyes and see that he had been crying. When he sees him, he just feels that Felix isn’t well, and he knows that something is very wrong, which fills him with agony, making him look for a chance to ask what’s making him so nervous.

However, he only managed to do so after dinner. 

The blonde said that he had a headache and that he was going to have dinner in his room, and this made Hyunjin’s feeling worse, it’s really suspicious. He asked himself over and over again what it could be, but nothing came to mind. He's worried as hell, he hates the idea of ​​Felix not being okay.

Finally, the door opens and what he sees hits him in the stomach. His omega is red and his eyes are swollen from crying, he’s clearly feeling bad and this makes Hyunjin's world fall apart, his heart tightens. "Baby, what happened?" he hurries to say as he enters. 

However, the only response he gets is Felix hugging him tightly, then starting to cry even more, sobbing. The only thing he can do it’s hug him and caress the blond hair, trying to make the other's pain pass to him through physical contact, even though he still has no idea what happened. 

No words are necessary. Of course he wants to understand what happened to the other, but the priority is to accept his feelings and comfort him. So they stay like this for a while longer, with Hyunjin's warmth warming the blond omega who lets all his feelings out.

When the tears finally seem to stop, the alpha hugs him once more. "What happened, my love?" he asks gently.

Honestly, Felix doesn't know what to say. He needs to follow through with what he agreed with his brothers, he needs to think, he needs to decide what he's going to do and how to protect Hyunjin in this situation. But he also needs the alpha by his side, he needs the comfort, the affection, the security. He sighs, because it's not time to be honest with the other yet and that's terrible.

He feels the warmth of the other's arms a little more and then takes his hand and guides him to lie down on the bed next to him, because he feels an insane need to be completely enveloped by Hyunjin's body.

They start to cuddle. "I'm just being dramatic… I just dreamed that something really bad happened to us and it's eating me up" he tries to say at least the superficial of the whole situation, pretending it's just a dream "I can only think about what I would do if something bad happened to you, how I would protect you, how far I would be willing to go. It's so hard" the blonde says.

The alpha begins to comprehend him and the reaction of the blonde in his arms becomes truly understandable. It’s painful when they are reminded that their life is not just the moments in which they seem to be in heaven and there’s always a chance of something going wrong and this can destroy their loved life together.

He puts himself in Felix’s shoes and it really hurts.

A fear runs through his body. As he has already made it very clear to his omega, it’s not the fear of dying, it is the fear of not being able to be by his side anymore. For him, the only way to be happy is by Felix's side. It doesn't matter what happens, it doesn't matter if the world ends, if he can be with Felix, everything can be alright.

In fact, this is what makes him postpone the confrontation with Minho, because he knows that it may be the last time he sees the man he loves and he is not ready to part with Felix if everything goes wrong.

So he holds the omega even tighter and feels him in his embrace. It hurts, it’s difficult, but he will find a way, this is the center of his thoughts in the last months. They need to live a life together, they have plans, they have a lot of love between them that needs to be lived. "I know and so do I. What matters is for us to stay together." he answers, trying to comfort the other.

And it's the purest truth. In his heart, what matters is being by Felix's side, he'd give up almost anything for that. He has his obstacles, he has lives that depend on him, but other than that, he's ready for anything, and he hopes the omega can sense that truth in him. He hopes that this fear coming from the other is never linked to doubts, because if there is something he wants from the bottom of his heart, it is for Felix to always know that his feelings are real, that he loves him.

The omega's dark, teary eyes watch him. "Hyunjin, promise me that we will do whatever it takes to make this happen? I know we have our limits, but if we need to run away, disappear, completely change our lives, do something crazy or whatever, promise me that we will find a way to do it. Please, I can’t live without you."

To be honest, this is not a doubt in Hyunjin's mind. He is sure that he will do whatever it takes to stay with the other, he just doesn't know what it takes yet and is afraid that it won't be enough, but he will. Felix is ​​his life, so there is not the slightest doubt in his body. "Of course, my love. I will do whatever it takes for you, for us. I swear." 

When he feels that there is no hesitation in the answer, he manages to smile at least a bit. It’s a weak and small smile, but he does it. There is still no light that illuminates him to find a solution to all of this, but just having Hyunjin without any doubts and willing to do anything by his side, he will make it work. 

So that night they keep cuddling as they sleep together until Hyunjin's alarm clock reminds him that he has to sneak back to his room. And that’s all Felix needs to calm at least a bit, just the exchange of warmth and affection, just the love that they share filling them. A thin thread of hope that makes them think that everything will be okay.

The next day, Felix's words echo in Hyunjin's head all day long. The anguish remains in his chest, despite that thread of hope that is keeping him sane. It's hard. 

He can't concentrate on anything, he just replays in his head the scene of the other crying and his sincere request. The only thing that makes him work and think is the anxiety of finding a solution for their lives before it's too late, before the omega suffers even more. He can't let the person he loves keep in this state with that feeling of fear. 

He feels like the previous night was a warning from the universe that his time is running out and he needs to do something as soon as possible. To that end, he spends basically the entire day mapping out solutions, thinking of ways to escape, scheming how everything can work for their own good.

Honestly, he has a few ideas. All of them have a low chance of working, all of them require help, all of them have consequences. But if he has even the slightest chance of staying by his omega's side, it's still worth it to him.

The sun streams through the window of his office and warms him, calming his heart a bit. It's funny how much this is the same effect the blonde has on him, so he values feeling that warmth on his skin so much, he's become so fond of the way the sun illuminates him and warms his body.

Before, he was an alpha who enjoyed his isolation, the cold, the silence. Now he enjoys the light, the warmth, having someone by his side all the time. While Hyunjin lives his anguish, the blond omega lives his own as he’s paralyzed in the bright and comfortable waiting room of a hospital with his positive test in hand. He looks at the paper, and even though he knows everything that's there, that he understands everything that's written there, something inside him doesn't let him absorb it. But he needs to accept it.

Even after so many confirmations, he still had hope that it was just a turbulent nightmare, but it isn't. Inside him there’s really a baby. 

His brothers, who had lied to their family that at this time of the morning the four of them would be at brunch, try to comfort him in any way they can, with hugs, words or other affectionate gestures. "Well, now we need to think together about what we're going to do," Seungmin says thoughtfully.

"Have you thought about what you're going to do about Hyunjin, Lix?" Jeongin asks.

He tries to take his eyes off the positive result to answer his brother, although it's difficult. "I... I want to tell Jinnie first of all. First because he's the father, it's his right. Second, because I know he'll help me and he'll do everything he can to find a way. I just need to... Digest this a little," he unconsciously brings one of his hands to the height of his uterus.

Jeongin observes his hands and smiles in amazement. He knows the situation is complex, but he can't help but feel a warmth in his heart when he looks at his brother's belly. "Wow, there really is a life here. It's unreal, like... It's you... You know?" He approaches and gently touches the spot with his hand.

Seungmin's hand joins Jeongin's and he laughs "how crazy, it's really something that none of us were expecting, you creating a life inside of you."

A little away from his brothers, Jisung looks in distress. In fact, he's feeling a little guilty, maybe after Felix, he's the one who was most hoping the home tests would be wrong. Now he's there, thinking about how to fake a smile similar to his brothers', when the only thing he feels is a shiver down his spine. "Yeah... He eats a bit because his brothers insist, but the only times he gets out of bed are to throw up. He doesn't think it’s because of the pregnancy, but rather the nervousness that has taken over him and is reflecting on his body. In addition, he feels his hormones are unstable.

He’s shaking and is weak, and the closer it gets to Hyunjin's arrival, the more nervous he becomes. The anxiety to talk to him and tell him what is happening is killing him. 

He trusts his alpha, he knows that Hyunjin will agree to do anything for him and for this life, that they will think about something together. Still, the news itself is shocking and messes with his head. Besides, there is a terrible part of him that is afraid that the alpha will abandon him. Something that he knows is unrealistic, but that his thoughts and unstable hormones keep trying to put in his mind.

He tosses and turns in his bed and growls angrily at himself for even letting that thought exist, then cries a little more until he falls asleep and finally forgets the situation he is in at least for a moment.

When he wakes up, he gets the worst news he could possibly receive: his father wants everyone to have dinner together because of something good that happened at work and he wants to celebrate. He sighs in annoyance, of course he is happy for his father, but leaving that room was the last thing he was planning until he managed to talk to Hyunjin.

Some excuses run through his head, but he knows very well that they won't work. If he said he was sick, for example, everything will be a thousand times worse because his father will want to run to his room to see how he is and insist like a madman to take him to the doctor. It's a dead end, so he just has to do everything he can to calm down as much as he can so he can control his stomach and not let his nervous hormones do anything that night.

Throughout the day, the blonde answered Hyunjin's messages as naturally as he could, as he didn't want to worry him again, and it was actually working, even though the dark-haired man's anxiety hadn't gone away. However, when Felix sat at the dinner table, pale and weak, his gaze averted from Hyunjin's and the alpha felt as if someone had stabbed him in the heart.

Minho begins to tell everyone there about the family's latest achievement for what he calls a clean business. Everyone seemed very focused on the story, Chan smiled a lot, as did Kibum, and even Felix seemed to be smiling. But Hyunjin couldn't concentrate on the story, as the only thing he wanted to know at the moment was how his omega was doing.

But of course, everything could get worse. 

The menu for that night? Fried chicken, Felix's favorite food. His father loves to buy it at these times precisely because he knows he likes it and to Minho everyday it’s a good day to spoil his son. But, apparently, at that moment Felix’s body doesn't seem to like it at all.

When Kibum places a portion in front of the blond omega, the smell is anything but welcome when it enters his nostrils. If his nausea during the day was due to nervousness, at this moment the nausea he starts to feel is undoubtedly due to the pregnancy.

The worst of all? He needs to disguise it. He needs to pretend that everything is fine before they think he is sick and his father wants to delve deeper into what is happening to him. So he tries to hold back.

It’s a scent that, without losing the basic characteristics of the omega's scents, ends up being more intense, strong and with particularities. This scent also ends up gaining the addition of some other aromas and odors depending on the omega's physical or hormonal reaction.

It’s also common knowledge for people that the pregnant omega isn’t the one who feels this different scent. This scent is a biological call for attention for the omega in vulnerable situations. When we say that it’s common knowledge, it’s also known to Felix, of course. He even followed his brother's first pregnancy closely, knowing very well how it works.

However, what happens is that at no time did he remember that he could go through this. So, while he concentrates on not throwing up the small amount of appetizers that he ate, he doesn't even notice the eyes at the table turning to him, especially from his parents who know very well what a pregnant omega can smells like.

The blonde’s vanilla scent has always been delicate, just the right amount, completely pleasant, harmonizing with the other notes of his scent. It was always what made his scent so unique and so good. But now, it's almost sickening. It's as if a stock of vanilla air fresheners had their bottles opened and that sweet treat was ready to give someone a good headache.

The floral and fruity part of his scent doesn't even seem to exist, being completely replaced by something sour that mixes with the strongest vanilla in the world. Little Minji wrinkles her nose when she feels the scent "Ew, why does Uncle Lix smell like that?" The little girl asks while everyone is left without reaction – either out of surprise or fear.

And it’s with his niece's voice that he comes out of his trance of someone who’s trying to stop the nausea. When he looks around he sees everyone's eyes on him and his legs tremble. The strength he was using to avoid vomiting is just gone.

Everything gets worse when he quickly locks eyes with Hyunjin who looks pale and with his lips half-open as if they had taken away all his ability to function. And then he feels the feeling of crying and the worst of nausea coming at once.

The only reaction he can have is to put one of his hands to his mouth, then get up and start running towards the bathroom leaving everyone in shock and Minji even more confused.

Kibum is the first to get up to go after the omega. There are no words for him to explain the confusion he’s feeling because he wants to be afraid, he wants to try to rationalize the situation and God knows what more, but the only thing he can do is get up to help his son. 

However, when he is leaving the dining room in hurried steps, his husband's voice interrupts him. "Take him to the office as soon as he gets better." That’s the only words coming from Minho, who gets up too. Kibum just nods and goes to go after his son.

After the elders leave the room, a silence remains in the environment. Everyone is really too scared to say something. The only one who can react and break the stillness of the environment is Sengmin due to his concerns as a father. "Chris, take the children and their food to their room, please"

The alfa quickly begins to do what his husband asked without any verbal response. The only thing he does before leaving the room is tell to Minji to take her plate and look firmly at Hyunjin in an attempt to empathize before turning to the door with Jooyeon in one of his arms and his food in the hand of his opposite hand.

The next one who manages to say something is Lino. "I'm going to our room to… Get something," he says to Jisung as he stands up. The omega nods while keeping his eyes fixed on the empty space of the chair where his brother was sitting.

"I don't want to be that person, but like, we have to think about what we're going to do," Jeongin begins. 

Changbin looks at him, "Since when did you know?" 

The omega sighs, annoyed by the question. "I always suspected, I'm not as stupid as you think, you know? I'm old enough to understand this kind of situation, opposite of what you think," his answer is harsh.

Seungmin sighs in irritation. "This isn't the time for you two to be dramatic, okay? We have something more important to do. Hyunjin, you-" but he stops talking when he looks at the alpha sitting there. He's still motionless. 

Pale and with his mouth half open, just like it was the last time he met Felix's gaze. His heart seems to be the only thing moving in his body, but it moves too much. It seems like it's going to explode with the voracity of its beating.

His mind is blank, trying to process what he just found out and then decide what to do. But he can't. There's not enough rationality to form a thought, it seems like his brain can't make a single one synapse. It seems like if he leaves that position and tries to move, he'll faint. 

His state scares Seungmin and then, upon seeing the omega's gaze, the other three present turn to Hyunjin and share the same reaction. They don't even know if they should try to bring him back to reality.

In the bathroom, Felix throws up the little he had for dinner and all the liquid he tried to drink to hydrate himself after everything he went through during the day. His father holds his blond hair while stroking part of his head, trying to calm him down. The way he holds it’s affectionate, concerned.

To be honest, Kibum doesn't know what will happen next, but he knows that what he has to do above all is take care of his son, no matter what. In the end, he will find a way to solve everything, just like he has done the other times, even though he knows that everything will be much harder this time.

When it finally seems like the blond omega has gotten everything out of himself, his eyes, red from crying, look at his father and he starts to despair. "Dad..." he starts to cry.

The older omega hugs his son affectionately, trying to tell him that everything will be okay, even though he knows that at that moment nothing will calm Felix's despair. "We'll find a way, okay?"  He tries to comfort the younger omega.

He knows his husband isn't a monster, he knows the man deeply cares for Hyunjin. It's not like this is a random mobster situation, his husband would never kill someone he likes the way he likes Hyunjin. What he fears is that for some reason the young alpha doesn't live up Minho’s expectations, and the two will have to part ways.

It's not hard to see that this would crush Felix mind, his desperate expression says it all.

He's honestly positive about the situation, especially because he's been there before and knows Hyunjin, and he really trusts a lot in Hyunjin and his determination, but he knows it will be difficult, extremely difficult, for both of them.

It's easy to predict that everything will be an emotional rollercoaster, and honestly? Lino is afraid of seeing Felix's baby affected by his nerves and hormones because of what he might go through.

The alpha approaches the two and sits in front of Felix on the bathroom floor. "No, it won't. I made the tranquilizer to help our less experienced men on missions where they might get nervous, but without them becoming unfunctional. It's not the most powerful thing in the world, but it's natural and helps. And I made the hormonal stabilizer so our omegas don't run the risk of their hormones getting out of control on missions. It's not much different from traditional suppressants, it's just weaker and works just for a specific amount of time." 

Felix's deer eyes watch his brother-in-law. Lino seems softer than usual, not soft in the silly way he is with Jisung, but there is something different about him.

Lino holds out his hand with the pills. "Do you trust me, Lix? You're nervous, you can probably get even more and that's not good for the baby. Let's try to take care of this little thing, okay?"

Smiling weakly, the blonde nods and takes the pills with the water the alpha brought. Lino is right, that whirlwind of emotions and hormones is not healthy for the little life inside him.

"Your father wants to talk to you, my dear," Kibum says carefully, "do you think you can do it?"

Being honest, Felix thinks he can't do anything anymore. He’s so weak, so nervous, so anxious. The only thing he wants to do at that moment is to look for Hyunjin and run away from there, find a way to protect him and live with him away from all the madness.

Unfortunately, he knows that’s impossible. Unfortunately, he needs to face his father. He has been waiting for Hyunjin to think of a plan for the two of them for so long, but maybe life is saying that he’s the one who has to do something. Maybe he's the one who has to protect his alpha. "I can do it, I'll go there." 

There's only one idea in his head. An idea that will at least give them more time and he'll bet his chips on it. Hyunjin might not agree in the beginning, but he’ll make the alpha understand him. In this moment his focus has to be saving his beloved from his dad’s wrath.

He gets up with the help of his father and brother-in-law, who also help him clean his face and fix his clothes, and then they head to Minho's office. As he walks, he notices how much every part of his body is shaking.

As he passes through the dining room door to take the elevator to the floor below, his gaze meets Hyunjin's again, but from a distance this time. He can see how much of a mess the other must be internally. Sorry, Jinnie , he apologizes in his mind and his heart tightens.

In the exchange of glances, Hyunjin can sense Felix trying to tell him something. He doesn't know what yet, but he's almost certain the blonde has an idea in mind, and apparently he won't like it. This feeling begins to bring reality home to him.

"Okay, they're going to the office. We have to do something," Jisung says as he sees the three of them pass by, not even stopping to think about why his husband was there too.

Pinching the middle of his forehead trying to think of something, Seungmin sighs. "What the hell, we were preparing so well."

"Since when did you know?" Hyunjin finally manages to say something, which surprises the others there.

The three omegas in the room look at each other. "Binnie didn't know, the three of us found out yesterday with drugstore tests. We got the test results from the doctor this morning, to be more exact," Jisung explains.

"He was going to tell you today, at least that's what it seemed like after our conversation," Jeongin says, "that's why he was so nervous."

The alpha's heart sinks knowing that even for a short time Felix had to go through all of this alone. He wishes he could go back in time, notice some sign beforehand to prevent the omega from feeling this way without having him by his side giving him the support he needs, he deserves.

Felix is ​​someone who needs to be taken care of and he thinks it's so wrong that he couldn't do this for him, especially in such an emotionally draining situation. I need to do something , he thinks.

Changbin's face is red with worry. He looks at Hyunjin. The older alpha has always been very fond of him and even more so of Felix, who has always been someone he has taken great care of. "This is a joke, right? This has to be a fucking joke" Jeongin stares at him "you're an idiot, I don't even know what to say to this shitty hypocritical idea of ​​yours"

"Jeonginnie, I-" he tries to answer the younger omega.

The voices seem to be too much for Hyunjin. He didn't even really consider what Changbin said, because it all just seems to be too much. There are too many emotions and stimuli making his whole body twist and his heart feel heavy.

The walls of the dining room seem to be shifting, moving closer, the space shrinking, and he's about to be crushed. The heavy air seems to be rushing in, inflating him and eventually making him explode.

He feels the seconds ticking by, the situation worsening, the rope about to snap. He needs to end this before it gets worse, before everyone's nerves get worse. 

And as it gets worse, he thinks about what Felix is telling his father. He knows the omega too well, he knows he'll do anything to try to get Hyunjin out of this, he knows Felix would do crazy things to protect him and must be doing so right now. He must be finding a way to carry it all alone.

"I'm just saying that maybe if we make him believe someone else is the father, things might be simpler." Changbin sighs in frustration.

Someone else is the father . The phrase echoes in Hyunjin's mind for some reason. Oh , something seems to click in his head, he even thinks the click must even be audible to others. But he hates what just went through his mind, and apparently his alpha doesn’t like the idea too.

It's time for him to face it. "Bin, forget it. I'm going over there." he says standing up.

Jisung stands up to try to stop him. "Hyunjin, if you go there he'll kill you." 

The alpha sighs. "Ji, it doesn't matter. I won't hide it, Felix is ​​my omega, that's my child. Nothing else matters. I'll find a way, okay?" he argues. 

When the omega is about to answer him, Seungmin grabs Jisung's arm. "Leave him, he's right. It's his right, Ji. We can't do anything, other than hope that everything works out." 

Everyone looks at each other apprehensively, because they all know that the omega's words are right. No matter what they try to do, they can't stop Hyunjin's right to take care of his child, to take care of his omega, regardless of the risk. If this is his decision, they can only accept it and stand by him.

"That's it, Hyune," Chan says at the door. "I think it's the only thing we can do right now," the alpha smiles understandingly. 

Jisung steps out of the alpha's way and lets him pass after a big sigh. He knows that Felix would rather die than see something happen to Hyunjin, but no one can stop him, so he just accepts the other's decision.

When he walks through the door, Chan pats him on the shoulder understandingly. "I'll go with you," the alpha smiles.

At the same time that the conversation was happening in the dining room, Felix was sitting in front of Minho at his office desk. Kibum watches the two of them while he stands nervously near the door.

"My dear, I'm not mad. You don't need to be nervous, I just want to understand what's going on, how it happened" Minho says understandingly.

The problem is that Felix can't tell the truth, the last thing he can do is explain how everything really happened because the truth will make the alpha really mad. "It just happened, daddy. I didn't take care of myself and it happened" he says apprehensively.

His father looks at him. "Is he your boyfriend?"

Felix wishes he could answer yes. He really wanted to be able to tell the whole truth, but for Hyunjin he has to carry this story alone. "I... No daddy, it's not. It was someone casual, he doesn’t even know" he says, doing his best to sell the story. He’s not Hyunjin, but he was always pretty good in manipulate his father.

Minho runs his hand through his hair. "I need you to tell me who he is and I need you to tell him. You can't carry this responsibility alone." 

Of course he'll want to do things the right way , the blonde thinks, because he knows how his father is. "Daddy, I don't want to involve him in this, it's not necessary. I can figure it out on my own," he argues.

The omega sighs, he needs to make his father give up on the idea. "Look, daddy," but the sound of knocking on the door makes his heart race. He knows those knocks like no one else. Felix's entire plan begins to disappear from his head and despair begins to mess with his thoughts again, even though his body doesn't react in the same euphoric way.

When the omega opens the door, he sees Hyunjin standing there, looking more nervous than Minho has ever seen him in the entire time they've known each other. He's intrigued. "Boss, I'm sorry to interrupt," the alpha says, "I came here because I know who the real father is," he says, entering and closing the door, as if he's sure of what Felix is doing – something he is, because he knows better than anyone how the omega's mind works.

The blond omega's eyes widens. "Hyunjin, no. Shut up, go away," his voice begins to tremble.

"Felix, I'm sorry, I know what you’re trying to do and I'm not going to accept this," the alpha argues without taking his eyes off Minho.

Hearing it, Felix stands up, even though his body feels strange. Light, maybe even calm, but without strength. He holds on to the chair for support. "Daddy, don't listen to him. Jinnie doesn't know what he's talking about." Felix's desperation betrays him. 

Minho sighs. "Who is it then, Hyunjin?" 

Kibum closes his eyes, not knowing how much he wants to see the scene. Felix begins to feel tears streaming down his face. Hyunjin sighs one last time as if he were ready to hold a heavy piano on his back, ready to be buried by it. 

He approaches the table. "It's me, boss. I'm the father."

Minho doesn't even know how to react. Nothing the other alpha is saying seems to make sense in his mind. He doesn't even want it to make sense, he just wants to pretend he didn't hear Hyunjin's words. He doesn't want to feel betrayed by one of the people he trusted the most.

"Hyunjin, stop lying. Daddy, this isn't true," Felix says desperately, in tears. "Daddy, you can't believe him."

But his son's words don't match the seriousness on Hyunjin's face. His expression is so serious, so strong, so confrontational that there's no way to doubt his words. Minho quickly looks at Kibum and then looks back at the couple. "You two, sit down" he points to the chairs in front of him at the office table.

The couple does as they are told and sits quietly. The omega's restless hand searches for Hyunjin's. When the alpha feels how much he is shaking, he has to hold himself back so as not to break down and cry.

The older alpha watches them quietly. "So, since when did you know?" he asks Hyunjin.

"He didn't know anything, I only found out yesterday and I hadn't told him yet" Felix quickly intervenes.

"Yongbok, I asked Hyunjin and not you" he says quickly and seriously without even looking at his son. It is the first time Felix feels this cold attitude coming from his father.

This is something that fills him with fear, because he never dreamed he would hear his father talking to him like this. His father, who was always so delicate and attentive, is now icy. His words make Felix's whole body go cold.

"Boss, I really didn't know. I found out right then and there at the table"

"I see. And since when has this been happening" Minho continues.

Sighing, the younger alpha prepares to lay the whole truth on the table. "Months. Almost half a year already." 

Minho's throat goes dry. He feels like a complete idiot. He should have seen the signs, but the only thing he saw was someone safe to hand his son, to help him take care of his darling son. There's not a hint of a lie in those words, the smile seems so sincere, even with his future threatened he really does seem so happy, it’s visible the shine in his eyes. If Hyunjin is faking it, Minho is sure that's his greatest act yet, because he can feel the truth in every word, in every smile. "Do you love him?" the alpha stares at the dark-haired man.

"Of course. That's why I'm here. No matter what happens to me, I won't deny it or keep hiding it. It's always been too much to hide, by the way."

And this seems true, Minho can understand that there's no other reason for him to be there, Hyunjin wouldn't put himself on the fire for nothing if there weren't a lot of feelings involved. Felix was trying to get him out of the mess, it was easy for him to just run away if he wanted.

It's great, but it takes all his strength to stop all of this. Damn, fucking Lino, what is this shit . He looks at his hands stopping trembling.

Either way, he won't leave. He can't. So he uses his last bit of strength "If you want to do something to him, be brave and do it in front of me and I swear, Dad, that if anything happens to Hyunjin, I’ll do the same with me. I don't care what it is" he says, leaning on the table for strength. 

Before Minho can respond to his son's words permeated by an easily identifiable anger, Hyunjin's voice pierces him. "No, Lix. Stop. It's okay. Don't say that, because no matter what happens here, you made me happy and I want you to remember forever that we were happy, okay?" he smiles softly. 

Why do you always have to be like this? He thinks as he hears the other's words. The blonde looks at him with sadness and tenderness. He can't lose him. "Hyunjin..." 

"Okay, okay. If that's what you want, Yongbok" Minho sighs "Honey, just help him move away"

The confused older omega obeys and begins to gently hold his son who no longer has any strength and takes him away from the office table leaving only the two alphas. He hugs Felix while they stand at the corner he has been since the beginning of the conversation.

It's complicated, because Hyunjin can really understand him, he really agrees. It must have been a shitty life and he wouldn't wish that on the person he loves, the person he wants to take care of. In fact, he feels like an idiot for having been a problem in a caring father's attempt to give the best to his son.

"And everything was always ridiculous. He didn't even give me a choice. I wanted so many other things like a normal life, getting married, being a father, being an athlete, that kind of common dream. The only thing that always makes it worth it is that there is someone who wanted me and accepted the worst part of my life" he sighs as he runs his index finger over the gun "I'm a hypocrite, aren't I? Because I don't let them have a choice either, I'm unfair just like my father. But unfortunately life is like that, unfair"

He brings the gun closer to Hyunjin as if he were offering it to him. The younger alpha stares at the object thoughtfully, still not understanding what his boss is getting at.

"But I don't want to be unfair to you, Hyunjin. So I'm going to give you two options, I’m going to let you decide. This will be over just when you chose one of it" Hyunjin's gaze returns to focus on him, Minho looks inflexible "First I want to make it very clear that regardless of your choice, nothing will happen to your sister. I will keep my word and continue to protect her"

Those words already calms a lot of the alpha's fears, because whenever he thinks about a solution to his situation with Felix, the fear of something happening to Yeji is a factor that stops him when some ideas come up. If she is safe, everything becomes simpler for Hyunjin.

But unfortunately the alpha continues to speak."Take care of our child" he says and turns to smile for Felix one last time.

Kibum opens the door and smiles at the alpha before he passes. He knew his husband would never do anything to the young man, but it's good to know that everything is finally over and over again.

When the omega closes it again, Hyunjin can hear him outraged by saying that his husband is an unbearable drama queen and didn't need it all.

Hyunjin looks at the hallway that's full. Everyone else who lives in the house except the children is there. 

Chan smiles relieved at him as he holds Seungmin's hand, who has an anxious look on his face. Jisung slides down the wall due to the weight coming off of him, Lino looks understanding. Jeongin lifts his head that was nestled in Changbin's neck who hugs him tightly, he has tears running down his face and then Changbin smiles when he sees the alpha carrying the blonde.

The walk to get into the elevator and through the hallways feels long, much longer than usual. The walls of the house feel strange, the floor feels soft, the lights seem different. He can't explain it, but the whole way, he smiles.

He smiles because everything is over. He smiles because his omega is in his arms. He smiles because the life they've made together is protected. He smiles because the chances of staying with the one he loves seem much bigger, the chance of them living their love seems real.

Calmly, he breathes in and out as he feels the small body in his arms, as he feels Felix's head resting against him, still giving small sobs.

When they arrive at the omega's room, Hyunjin gently places him on the bed. "Don't cry anymore, it's over," he says calmly.

Felix looks at him with red and swollen eyes, but nods. 

And in the next second the dark-haired man is surprised by the punch he receives on the arm. It's weak and only draws his attention, because probably not even if Felix wanted to he would have the strength to do anything. "You're such an idiot, promise me you'll never do that again," the blond says.

The omega laughs too, "Oh my god."

"Yeah," Hyunjin rolls his eyes mockingly, "but he's right. In fact, we need to think about your health. We're going to make an appointment for you to see a doctor this week to understand your situation and work on your habits ” he says in a serious way because he knows that Felix goes easy from eating nothing to eating sugar bombs and this is terrible for a pregnant omega. “ We need to take care of everything, know what you should eat and all that. Felix sighs and shakes his head. "I can already see you're going to be a pain in the ass."

Sitting up in his chair, the younger alpha positions himself to listen attentively. He'll accept anything if he can keep Felix. "Anything, boss, just say the word."

Minho nods. "Okay. First, I want you to promise me that you'll do everything you can to protect my son and give him the best life. You'll be by my side until the end so we can change the business and get Felix out of this."

"Of course!" Hyunjin says quickly. "I want Lix to have the best life possible, and I'll do everything I can to make it happen, I swear. I really want to help you change things. The alpha smiles at the younger man's excitement. He knows Hyunjin well and knows how sincere it is, how real his desire is. "I trust you will. And second, I want you to do this right. Smiling, he shows his belly, which still shows no sign of pregnancy, but which somehow clearly shows that there's a life inside. He and his father smile at each other, the alpha placing his hand on his son's belly. "Grandpa can't believe another little angel is coming," he says in a silly voice.

The older alpha appears genuinely happy. After all that chaos, he can put the whole scene and drama aside and enjoy the fact that one of his sons has given him another incredible gift.

And after Minho had a good time chatting with his grandson inside Felix's belly, the office door opens abruptly and Lino appears serious. The alpha crosses his arms. "It's already past two in the afternoon." The four in the office look at him in confusion. "Felix is pregnant, he needs lunch. Being hungry isn't good for the baby."

The alpha is right, which made the four look at each other, agreeing with him but finding the situation weird.

"Yes, he's right. Felix, you need to eat," Kibum said. "Let him go, he has to go eat," he told his husband, who nodded and quickly stood up.

So, the four began to leave the room together, following Lino. However, after a few steps, Hyunjin grabbed Felix's hand. "You guys can go ahead, I just want to get something from Lix’s room."

Lino arched an eyebrow at him. "You have five minutes."

The two walked quickly toward the stairs to the blonde's room. As they enter the room, the alpha pulls Felix into a kiss. He wants to celebrate, he wants to show his omega how happy he is that everything worked out, how fulfilled he is knowing that from that day on, they'll be able to live the life they wanted.

Holding the blond omega by the waist, he lifts him slightly off the ground without stopping the kiss. Their warm mouths move together until all their breath is gone, and then they finish with a smile.

Gently, Hyunjin sets Felix down but keeps hugging him. "Now I have to buy you the most beautiful engagement ring in the world, so everyone can look at your hand and see that you're taken." He kisses the omega's forehead.

"Finally, will my possessive alpha fulfill his desires about everyone knowing I'm yours?" the blond teases.

Hyunjin's reaction is a smirk, and surprises Felix with a simple and direct answer. "Yes, I'm looking forward to it."

The doe-like eyes of the freckled blonde in front of him look at him with surprise, almost pride. A satisfied smile joins his gaze. "That’s my alpha, hot and possessive in the way I want." He gives Hyunjin a deep kiss. "God, I love you."

Without even believing how everything worked out, the dark-haired man smiles once again, he opens another of the many smiles he has ready for the rest of his life now that he finally has what he wanted most. "I love you too, my omega."

And right then and there, Hyunjin is the happiest alpha in the world. He feels so accomplished when he never thought he would, he feels so happy for having accidentally found something he had already given up looking for and he thanks God for the two riskiest choices he's ever made, because they truly paid off.
