"Sandrone, Sandrone," Columbina tugged at Sandrone's sleeve.
"I heard you the first time."
"For the tea party today, I want to prepare something."
"Is that so? Then it best be good."
"Yay."
Columbina skipped off towards the kitchen.
"... That Columbina... She better not burn down the kitchen."
Columbina arrayed the ingredients before her.
"Lakkaberries... Midsommar berries..."
She brought over a cutting board, assisted by some kuuhenki, while Sandrone watched stealthily from afar.
"It's not like I'm worried or any -"
Columbina brought down a knife quickly onto the berries, releasing some of the juices which splashed over her, and her kuuhenki familiars wiped the juices off.
"Ah."
Meanwhile, a certain busybody nearly fell over from the sight.
"T-This is fine... I need to let her learn and not coddle her all the time..."
"Here, Sandrone," Columbina presented her dish to Sandrone.
"Looks pretty."
Sandrone took a bite.
"How is it?"
"A passing grade I suppose."
Sandrone took another bite.
"I worked very hard on this."
"... Sweet. Delicious."
"Hehe. I'm glad that Sandrone likes it."
