Shakes and skarra were friends, best friends, buddies, the deadly duo. Anything excepts lovers because.. that would be crazy right?
They never said anything but they both knew sometimes theyve crossed each other lines, the lines between lover and friend. They didn’t want to knowledge it bc that would be awkward…
Theyve slept with each other, talk about their feelings and feels like they only got each other in this rough world, yet they never acknowledge their relationships.. its just better to keep it without labels.

“keep up dork!” skarra laughs as he ran with the ball from shakes, they ran across the beach with the sun setting down, it was a perfect time to play football.
shakes sighs as he ran after skarra but it wasnt long before shakes got to pass him and took the ball back, skarra scoffed but shakes had already scored the goal to the beach volleyball net.
“that was way too easy” shakes smirks as skarra look lightly annoyed, he walks closer to shakes.
“well dont keep it that way, i dont like it” skarra nudge shakes and shakes chuckles before sighing, he settle down and look at the sunset, skarra follow and sit besides him.
“beautiful isnt it?” shakes starts, “I cant wait for us to play in the super league together” skarra just scoffed, “i know, me too”
shakes had his knees close to his chest and his arms laying on his knees before he rest his head there, skarra sneak a glance to him, the sunlight making shakes face glow and skarra stares.
It all feel dreamy, skarra shand was dangerously close to shakes leg and he keep staring but skarra himself dont know what possessed him as he said
“you look beautiful, shakes”
shakes look at him after that and skarra feels like he want to slap himself, why did he said that??
skarra couldn’t read shakes expression but it’s not a bad one, shakes smiles softly and scoffed.
“thanks” he replied and skarra found himself closer and shakes didnt back away, they stare at each other for some time and accidentally, skarras eyes landed on shakes lips, but quickly look away from there.
shakes sighs as he saw that, they knew what they want at the moment, the feelings so close and just so right..
And now, skarra watches as shakes exit the locker room, their match ended with supa strikas winning again.
shakes caught skarras gaze and skarra had been lying if he said he hadn’t been waiting for him. Shakes frown, not because hes creeped off, but because skarra had a familiar look on his face.
so familiar.. it made shakes heart beat, but then shakes look away, he swore not to go to that path again, the path where they have been more than friends..
skarra face fall as shakes walk away and out of the building, he should be running after him. Stop him and said he missed him, but he didnt.
He didn’t know why.. but maybe its for the best.
