Summary
Din has a lot of problems right now. The covert has gone incommunicado and he's starting to worry they may have excommunicated him. Grogu, turns out, is a mind-power-wielding wizard. Luke, also apparently a mind wizard, has been unintentionally reading Din's thoughts. Gideon might be onto them. It's a lot for one pizza delivery guy to manage.
Chapter Fourteen: Adopting Grogu into his life hasn’t made Din want to be a different, or even better, person. Being Grogu’s dad has made him like the things about himself he’d been afraid to acknowledge—warmth, tenderness—instead of feeling like he’s lacking something fundamental.
Which isn’t to say that Din isn’t willing to embrace those colder parts. He could well kill again. In fact, he means to.
