Chapter Text
PROLOGUE
On the quietest nights, when the world sleeps unsuspecting, a shadow glides across the rooftops to steal that which has no form: dreams. No one has seen it, no one remembers its face… yet everyone feels its absence upon waking.
Sunghoon, a young man who has never dreamed, is drawn one night into a fragmented reality woven from the remnants of others’ dreams. There, he discovers that dreams are not merely fantasies; they are lost memories, denied desires, and hidden truths. But he also uncovers something deeper: in this dreamlike limbo, a recurring, ethereal dream calls to him without explanation. It is not his own, yet it resonates deep within his being, revealing the presence of a connected soul.
As he ventures further into this surreal universe to confront the Dream Thief—a creature as ancient as the first human thought, collecting and imprisoning these essences—Sunghoon encounters the owner of that persistent dream. An unexpected romance blossoms in the heart of this fragmented reality, a love as vulnerable as it is perilous, forged in the intimacy of shared emotions and stolen memories.
As the line between the real and the imagined blurs, Sunghoon fights not only to reclaim what has been stolen from all, but also to preserve this love that has flourished in the most unlikely of places.
Will their connection transcend the boundaries of dream and wakefulness, or are some dreams destined to remain hidden, even if it means sacrificing the love they have found?
