The cat padded towards the human. Anxiously lowering his head, eyes wide and glassy. Beomgyu removed his hands from his face when he heard a quiet meow, almost sounding in pain and fear. Quickly, he looked down and saw his cat sitting close to his feet. His tiny paws in front of him, his tail curling around himself, and his ears were drooping down. The cute but dejected cat made Beomgyu’s heart stutter with an unexplainable ache, and so he hurriedly moved to kneel on the floor.
He gradually reached out a hand, and then he waited for the cat to welcome his touch. The cat tilted his head, eyeing Beomgyu’s hand.
After receiving a reassuring smile from his human, the cat walked closer until the palm of Beomgyu’s hand reached his tiny face. He nuzzled further, tucking his face in the warmness of Beomgyu’s hand.
