Summary
I almost forget to breathe as I awake in LCL fluid, unable to see my surroundings. Orange goop consumes me, making it harder and harder to decipher who I am and where I am. That's right. How the hell can I figure out where I am if I don't even know who I am? My mind is racing, and I can feel the slosh of liquid in and out of my lungs quicken with each short exhale. How have I ended up here–
“Shinji-kun.” A voice whispers into my ear as arms wrap around my shoulders.
