Summary
I sat there chanting, burning the candles until they dipped low, the soft hot flickering making my eyes burn, water, do funny things, seeing blurs in the corners still I stayed watching, trying to stay postive as my knees began to ache, and my toes prickled with pins and needles, eyes unfocused yet still conscious of the reflections. I had read about hallucinations after 5 to 10 minutes, in the dark and flickering light the walls around me had seemed to shimmer and breath, and while this illusion had shocked me at first I'd held fast and refocused myself, corrected my breathing and when I felt the first stirring of numbness in my feet.
The glass all at once was like water, still but warbling with something...
