Ares looked out over the seemingly endless sea of red and light that he had control over. A little over 29 minutes ago, it had been the only world he had ever known. But upon rerezzing back into the Dillinger System, Ares couldn’t help but dwell on the other world he’d just seen. A world so different from his own, he couldn’t quite put it into words. So many new sights, sounds, smells, sensations; Ares had nearly been overwhelmed by it all. Not to mention he had seen the face of a User, of his Creator...
The program considered his world and compared it with the new information he now had regarding the other. Ares hadn’t gotten to experience much beyond the room he was rezzed into, but that didn’t matter. He knew there was much more of this...other universe that had yet to be explored. And even as he turned away from the window and willed himself to stop thinking about it, Ares couldn’t get the memories of what he’d seen out of his head.
29 minute time limit or not, Ares couldn’t help but wish he could go back and experience more of this other world, if only for a moment longer...
