The competition had been going on for two years or so, and now they were down to the final three. Bubble, Firey and Leafy herself. She would've never imagined getting this far in the competition, but now she was gonna win, she had to! For Firey! And.. Pin.... Leafy still missed her but she was gonna get over it soon since the Announcer said the people in the TLC would be freed to go watch the final cake at stake.
Firey and Leafy were cuddling in the distance, away from... whoever was around. There wasn't really that many people left and pretty much everyone knew they were dating but the feeling of privacy was still nice. Leafy pressed a short kiss on Firey's neck, then moved to kissing his lips.
A few seconds later she pulled away and hugged him tighter. They continued to hold eachother before Firey moved away and broke the silence.
"Oh Leafy! There's something I wanted to show you."
He took her hand and lead her to another place not too far away. After some walking they arrived to a ferris wheel.
"Look! I made it! Let's go ride it."
Leafy silently agreed, she obviously trusted her boyfriend.
But quickly after getting on the ferris wheel she realized that it had absolutely no protection from the sun despite Firey knowing Leafy was sensible to heat.
After a hot second in there Leafy quickly started feeling uncomfortable.
It was painful but despite that after getting off the ferris wheel she quickly recovered and forgave Firey. Instantly after the final cake at stake started. The Announcer gathered the final three and showed them the cake, the grand cake.
"That is seriously a hideous cake!"
Bubble exclaimed, before getting shushed by the Announcer and the cake at stake song playing, it was a mix of nearly every cake at stake songs they've heard during the season.
There was a huge crowd watching, Leafy didn't know a single one of them but that didn't matter.
"We're going to release the eliminated contestants."
"No! Don't do that!"
Leafy said, making the Announcer turn to her and ask her why, Firey explaining for her that they've basically gone insane because of the seclusion. Leafy thought he was kinda exaggerating, sure some of them might have, but not all of them!
The Announcer ignored his warning and released them anyways, before immediately getting attacked by Flower, getting a robotic chunk ripped out.
He ignored what just happened but when he spoke up something was clearly wrong, he couldn't say the K sound anymore!
"Thanks a lot Flower, you've messed out the Announcer!"
Firey said sarcastically, clearly annoyed but that but he'd quickly get over it as the Announcer went back to talking.
"We got 870 votes which means there will be no season 2."
"Aw!"
Leafy said a bit disappointed, she would've joined without any hesitation s2 if there was one.
"Before we announce the winner of bfdi, let's see who the eliminated people want to win."
One after the other the contestants said their "votes", currently everyone had voted for Leafy, which boosted up her confidence.
And in a second Pin was now voting, it was really nice to see her face again after so long.. She was still as beautiful as ever.
"Leafy!"
"Wow Pin! You remembered our alliance!"
"Of course!"
The contestants continued to state their opinions on who should win, Leafy getting the most votes. Was she that well liked? It definitely was a new feeling.
The Announcer then showed the actual votes to win, Bubble getting 228 votes. She didn't win but had a good run, the Announcer seemed to like her from how much he complimented her.
"Firey, you.. You're such a great friend I'll be happy if either of us win."
TV displayed the votes, Leafy also getting 228 votes and Firey getting 406 votes. He won! She was happy for him. Coiny, Firey's rival, dramatically fainted hearing the news.
Quickly after all that the winner himself and all the other contestants were standing in front of Dream Island. Announcer explained the rules before dissapearing, oh well.
"First, choose the people who should be allowed onto the island."
Firey let Pencil, Match and Bubbke enter first. Then out of gratefulness he let Needle onto the island for being his only voter. He let a huge crowd of contestants onto the island, not really caring. He hesitated about letting David but reluctantly let him in anyways.
Despite Flower being a jerk he still let her on the island. Leafy was behind everyone, seeing him letting everyone onto DI
"Wow Firey, that's so nice of you!"
Coiny threatened Firey to let him on the island or else, after some arguing he still ended up letting him in, which positively surprised Leafy. Wow! He was gonna let everyone onto the island?
"Wow Firey! That.. that was amazing! On another note, I cant wait to see Dream Island."
"Well Leafy.. I don't think I can let you in."
The girl's heart stopped for a second. He had to be joking right? How could he not let his own PARTNER on the island?!
"What!? But you let everybody else in, even Coiny!"
"Leafy when you rode my ferris wheel you said "GET ME OUTTA THIS THING!!" that really hurt me, deep down inside."
"You better be joking Firey!!"
"Leafy you dont understand! That ferris wheel I made it for myself, but more importantly I made it for you and you just rejected it."
"Firey I dont believe this!"
"Leafy I'm sorry but now I see the truth. You are a mean person and I do not believe you deserve to be on Dream Island."
And before anything else could be said Firey closed the door, leaving Leafy heartbroken and confused. Seriously? After everything he wasn't going to let her in because of something that wasnt even fully her fault?
In a sudden rage she called the Announcer and bought Dream Island for a stupidly high price, 1,000,000,000,000$.
It wasnt even actual money, just a paper slip, but the Announcer probably lost some brain cells after getting a piece of him ripped off. Only after she realized how stupid that was, immediately ripping her boyfriend's price out of his hands after he wins it because of am argument?
The contestants quickly started trying to figure out who bought it, placing the blame on Leafy. They asked her why she would buy DI and all that. .
"I really don't know why Firey would do that.. It seems like he turned from a nice caring friend into a jerk! A hideous unloving jerk with no feelings at all!"
"Leafy I know you're upset but that doesn't man you have to call him names.."
Bozo- Golfball said, Leafy ignored it as the prettiest girl she knew, Pin, spoke up.
"Maybe we can talk about it? You know, to soothe your feelings!"
"Sorry Pin I don't want to talk right now.."
Leafy said, clearly lying, she needed to talk with someone really badly but she just couldn't get herself to.
"I know Firey excluded you from Dream Island but don't worry about it too much! Especially because-"
"I know.. especially because Firey never received Dream Island at all."
'Wait.. how do you know that?"
Leafy tried coming up with excuses, all of them miserably failing, Golfball figured out that Leafy did in fact buy the island. And so the group of people who went after her went to go tell.. everyone else. Everyone was upset at her and decided they should execute her, which was.. really dramatic compared to what she did. They all agreed on crushing her, they captured her and put her in the Announcer crusher. But Leafy was.. actually much more agile than what people gave her credit for, and she managed to escape it and quickly ran away.
