Chapter Text
SURVIVOR
Brain Tribe (Coatí)
"The brain tribe is a group of people that are known for their intelligence and able to think through things in a certain way in order for things to work out in their favor. This is based on their intelligence alone, them thinking outside of the box, or the ability to read through anything and everything that they might face. Knowing what they signed up for, if you want to earn the title of Sole Survivor, you must be able to plan each move as carefully as possible."
Funky Kong
"Funky Kong is the next member of the Kong family to be on here, right after Donkey Kong from Survivor - Kodai Island." Master Hand noted. "I think in comparison, those two are light night and day. DK had a more serious attitude out there. Funky on the other hand, seems to be more laid back and kinda bigger in personality."
The ape himself was seen returning to the camp with a few palm fronds with Golden and Espio.
"Now, because he's bigger in personality, it might depend on how he's perceived by others. People can find him highly entertaining to be around. He seems to be very friendly when it comes to interacting with others, so that gives him a few points for a potential social game. He's clearly athletic as well and could carry his tribe for the challenges. However..." There was a potential flaw that Master Hand wanted to point out. "I do not have any sort of clue if he is in the right mind strategically. I mean, he could be, could be not. I dunno for sure. But at the same time, I do not even know if Funky even needs to play a major strategic game out here. Since he's already physical, that alone could be a threat. But if his personally distracts everybody from everything else, I can see lasting for a while."
Next thing that was shown, was the cousin of Donkey Kong laughing away for some reason.
Isabelle
Isabelle was waving to the camera rapidly.
"I think Isabelle is what someone would root for! She lives in a small town and she uses every ounce of her in her body to make sure it's the best place to be. Being heavily involved in her community, one has to be able to know how are they going to get through anything that could and might happen, and how to prevent certain things from happening in the future, which of course, requires a lot of thinking."
She was now weaving a palm frond.
"I think that she's generally nice to be around and easily approachable. So I can see her being a major help when it comes to whatever allies she makes in the game. She can of course easily help out with camp life, which would be extremely beneficial for her if challenges aren't going to be her thing. I think as long as she excels at what she's good at, she can definitely make some good relationships out here."
Espio
"Here's a fun fact about Espio: we had Knuckles the Echidna come out here from Emperors vs Knights. And if you remember about the whole Master Emerald thing, Espio just so happened to be the one to look after it while he was on Survivor. Haha, just something that I wanted to point out."
He seemed to be motioning the others to proceed through a part of the challenge.
"Now for Espio himself, he is a ninja and a detective as part of Team Chaotix on Mobius. So if you are from Mobius, you've probably heard of him before and already know what he does. Since he is a detective, you can see that the word strategy would be all over him... Now with him being a ninja as well, I wouldn't be so surprised if he ends up playing more quietly than others... or have a more cut-throat strategy out here. It could go either way."
He was in the middle of a conversation with Golden.
"So he has the strategic mindset that fits out here. I don't know about physically, but I don't think he'll be too terrible at challenges. Socially, I think that he's easily approachable. Maybe a trusted ally that people can count on. However, what might scare people is that if anyone could live up to his name, it is Espio. People would view him to be very intelligent, and that would make him a potential threat late merge for example. So I think at that point if that would be the case, then he would have to fly under the radar and play more quietly."
Plague Knight
"Oooh, look at that!"
Plague Knights' finger pointed to a gray hawk flying across the sky.
"I think Plague Knight can be perceived as a little eccentric on the surface." Master Hand figured. "He's an experienced alchemist with his own lab from home. So strategically, he might know what he's doing out here. Though getting along with others, I think it will be a mix bag. There are people that could in fact love Plague Knight. Though at the same time, I won't be surprised if he rubs a couple people the wrong way. So socially, I think he might be all over the place."
He was now seen somewhere in the woods retrieving water for himself from a well.
"And also when you look at him, he's clearly not going to be the most physical person on the tribe, so I dunno how that exactly is gonna work out, or how far he'll even get in the game in general. Sort of a wildcard if I were to summarize him in one word. So basically, my advice to him would be to make sure he controls himself, even when he absolutely needs to if he's ever going to be targeted."
Golden Freddy
"Golden is on the Brain tribe due to him having to step up and take position as a manager at a former restaurant. And now he has a restaurant of his own, and he was so successful that there are now multiple establishments across the country, including the restaurant Freddy Fazbear owns who competed last season."
He was drinking water from his canteen.
"Being the manager of basically anything requires some sort of brain power. So if he ever decides that he needs to take control of something, with prior experience, it should give him a bit of an advantage. He also appears to be a physical guy, and his strategy socially is him being seen as open as possible so that people can come to him for whatever reason. Sure, with him on paper having an advantage in all areas is what could make him a threat with a capital 'T', but if Golden seems trustworthy enough to work with, people will probably actually need him more than he needs them to take care of their own problems. And hopefully that will actually keep the target off of himself."
The bear sat in the shelter as he talked with Jimmy Hopkins.
Jimmy Hopkins
"I don't even know where to start with this guy."
Jimmy Hopkins was seen listening to whatever Master Hand was discussing with the rest of the castaways upon introducing the season.
"Imagine being a then fifteen year old students of one of the worst academies in history, and constantly using cut throat strategies to stomp over bullies or anyone that gets in your way. Jimmy Hopkins sets a perfect example of that... Though not exactly an example little kids should follow, though it always seemed to work out for him. That's why he's on this tribe. Of course if he's that mastermind in real life, just think about what he could do out here."
He was conversing with Isabelle as the two were placing palm fronds on the shelter.
"With the mindset needed to win this game, I just wonder what could happen for his game. The only thing that concerns me is how people would react to that. Since perception is everything, if people actually see him coming first, unless he can counter that, it could lead to a downfall. So he needs to tread rather carefully and strike whenever he could, just as if he would do back in his old school."
Brawn Tribe (Toro)
"The brawn tribe is a group of people that are used their aggression and power to get their way in life. Whether it'd be their strong personality traits, or for simply their brute strength. Saying that they have enough motivation to perform is a giant understatement, they're gonna tear up the game and make sure they're the ones sitting in the finals."
Incineroar
"Now here, we have our second boxing champion. Meet Incineroar."
He used his finger to motion the camera to move closer just to appear threatening.
"I don't even need to explain why he's on the Brawn tribe. Here's the next obvious question, though…" Master Hand decided to wait for the audience to take a small moment to guess. "What's his gameplay? Well, I've just seen his pre-season interview and he didn't really give much of what type of game he's going to play."
"However, I think his personality says it all. But here's the issue: it's basically a double-edged sword when it comes to dealing with people, meaning that people can really love him, or he would actually get on people's nerves. And if it's the latter at times, Incineroar has to at least realize it. If he manages to take a step back and calm down a little, maybe it wouldn't be so bad for him in the long run to a point where people actually want to keep him around for a while. And with a last minute immunity run, there he is, sitting in the finals."
The Pokemon literally pounded his chest with his fist repeatedly.
Katt
She stood tall as the camera moved from her legs to her face.
"Katt was actually friends with Falco from Kodai Island, and they were both part of the Hot Rodders, which was a galactic gang back in the day, with them all being a group of strong, aggressive pilots. That, in combination with Katt's personality puts her on this tribe. Sure, she may at times act as if she belongs somewhere like on the Beauty tribe, but that's when she is not rubbed the wrong way."
The anthropomorphic animal relaxed in the shelter interacting with different tribe members.
"And if it does come to a point to where she starts to get sassy, that could unfortunately make her a target of some sort. Hopefully Katt chooses to vent out any frustrations in her confessionals, since if she comes off as aggressive to some people, that would be enough to vote her out. However, if she has to stand up for somebody, she can recruit whoever she likes and be seen as trustworthy in order for her to move far into this game. She probably just needs to avoid these first couple Tribal Councils, since I don't know what people would think of her as far as being a physical player.
Jet
"Jet the Hawk was put on the Brawn tribe mainly for his personality, but something tells me that there is a high chance that he doesn't even realize it."
He was using an axe to slice open some wood.
"He races using 'Extreme Gear', and from what I've heard, rumor has it that he can come off as a bit arrogant and cocky at times, which is Survivor rule number one: don't come off as cocky in Survivor, because that is the number one thing that might harm you in this game. Does Jet understand that? ...I honestly don't know. He didn't come out that way in his interviews for some reason, which could mean anything. But as long as he is perceived as someone being civil when it comes to his tribe members, they'll give him a pass. Yet even so, judging by physical appearance, he is not the strongest of the strong. Though I do see him giving great motivation for his team. ...I guess all in all, he could be either a guy that people will either love or hate. And if it's the former, he could surprisingly go a long way, like gratitude for example."
Standing near the shelter, he used his hands to crack his joints.
Ryu
"Ryu is obviously a lock to compete on this season. He is the absolute perfect person to have on this tribe."
Carrying a large, white duffel bag, he stopped briefly, turned his head completely towards the camera, held up two fingers with his straight look, then finally turning back around and head off.
"He's been a martial artist for a long time. And as strong as he is, he seems like he can be a friendly guy. Who knows? Maybe he can help his team win challenges, win individual immunity challenges, while forging some relationships along the way to keep him going. Although, his one fatal flaw is that eventually people are gonna start to notice that he's too big of a threat to keep around. But I think that if Ryu can win some crucial immunity challenges, he'll earn his stay."
Tifa
"Tifa comes from a group called AVALANCHE, which is basically a group of people that fights against anyone who is perceived to be a threat to their world, so she's doing something for a great cause, and she's even learned different types of fighting abilities that work for in combat."
She was seen listening in to Master Hand's instructions on the first day.
"However, outside of her professional life, she's admitted that she rather has a difficult time expressing her feeling to other people that are around her, so it would not be surprising if she comes off as rather quiet in comparison to everyone else. But at the same time, under the radar have sometimes proven that being quiet is just the way to go. And also, in terms of females, she does appear to be the strongest female of her tribe, so hopefully they keep her around. And if that is the case, I do not see her going home early. And hopefully it would all work out for her if she reaches the end."
Lockhart removed a couple strands of hair from her eyes.
Specter Knight
"It seems like every season there seems to be a dark horse candidate. And if I had to put my finger on that person, it would be Specter Knight."
He removed the hood of his crimson cloak, exposing the head of his skeletal-like body.
"He's on there for simply how dangerous he can be in his real life, especially on where he lives in his world, which clearly isn't the brightest place in the world. But he's also here due to his personality. He could be a bit cold-blooded at times, or at least he's not afraid to speak his mind whenever it's necessary. ...Though hopefully he doesn't speak it too much to be a target. Yet at the same time I believe he's smart enough to know that. And also, he's strong, sure, but not the absolute strongest compared to people like Ryu and Incineroar. And if the Brawn tribe had to go to tribal to vote off someone who might be perceived the weakest, he could potentially be in trouble early. But if he makes it, what would work for him is that he needs to tread very carefully."
His arms stay folded as he eyed a spider monkey grabbing onto branches of trees.
Beauty Tribe (Quetzal)
"The beauty tribe represents people that uses their looks to get their way. But it's not just looks alone that gets them what they want. They're all about personality. They can be either nice, sassy, most likely to be friends with everyone, and can adapt to anything. Being able to adapt and being able to socially maneuver yourself is literally what Survivor is. Sometimes all that it takes to win a game is how many connections have you made with other people, and how you have managed to do it. So if you can get along, you do have a great chance surviving in this game."
Rosalina
"So when you talk about beauty, I think Rosalina is the perfect representative for this tribe."
She outstretched her as she stepped out of the shelter for a bit.
"She's an all around character for this tribe. She's both beautiful and charming, so I find her to adapt with her tribemates with ease. She can uplift her team when she needs to, and she clearly has the potential to build strong relationships. However, over time, perhaps people would see and that would paint her as a threat that is in their way to win, and then she would possibly be blindsided. But if Rosalina finds something suspicious, hopefully she can pull through and gets rid of the people who are wanting to get rid of her."
Daisy
"Daisy might be beautiful to some, but believe it or not, when it comes to getting her way, Daisy does not use her looks to her advantage at all."
"Hi, I'm Daisy!" She waved directly at the camera with an open grin.
"She even thought that there was a possibility she was going to be on the brawn tribe!" Master Hand informed. "And I don't even blame her. She does have a fire under her and according to her, some people call her a tomboy. Perfect for brawn, yes. But I think that she has more qualities that belong on the beauty tribe. Why you may ask? She somehow manages to bring people in. A lot of people get enjoyable entertainment from Daisy. And even if she's not even trying to, she's still easy to get along with people. If she manages to use that as a strategy, she could do things that will… even surprise me!"
"Alright!" She literally leaped into the air out of enthusiasm.
Bandanna Dee
"Bandanna Dee's charm says it all. I won't be surprised if he turns out to be a really likable guy on the island. He's easy to be around, he seems to have a bit of experience for camp life, and he could be a good leader for his tribe in spite of him not being the most physical player on the cast."
He was waving at the camera as cheerful as ever, proud to be out on the tribe having fun.
"For his weaknesses though, there are a couple of them. As said before, he's not the most physical player, and he also doesn't seem to have a big strategy for him. He's probably mainly here for the adventure. So that means if you aren't really focused on having a major strategic game here, you needs to have very strong connections that are good enough to help you get far into this game, and maybe they could use Bandanna Dee as extra help to take out some of the biggest threats say if he makes it to the merge for example. Though if his likability is enough to win, he'd better hope that his tightest alliance doesn't betray him because of that, since these days, people seem to be well aware that the more likable you are, the more threatening you'll become... And I do worry about that because I honestly really like Bandanna Dee..."
The small member of the yellow team leaped backwards and plopped right into the shelter.
Panther
Panther stood tall in front of the camera. Yet unlike others who were standing in a similar way, he actually gave off a huge wink for the audience with a flirtatious smirk, snickering afterwards as he slowly shook his head walking away.
"A mercenary being on the Beauty tribe? Well that's something you don't see everyday. Nonetheless, due to Panther's ways of socializing with others in order to have fun, is what convinced me to put him on this tribe. I'd say that out of the six people in the Beauty tribe, Panther is actually the one person that flirts with people using both his looks and personality to get his way. So we have that, plus him being the main alpha male of the team, so that means he can carry his tribe in the challenges."
He was dashing along the moment when the first immunity challenge commenced.
"Wouldn't be so shocking if he played this game strategically as well. But, you know, that would presumably make him the absolute biggest threat of the whole tribe, which could be a huge problem for his game. I don't know what his plan would be when it comes to that, but he has to really think about it now in case of that happening. Maybe he could play more subtle so that he would get somewhere."
King Knight
King Knight took the time placing his crown in his bag properly, no one even being aware of why he even brought with him in the first place.
"To be honest, I am still not entirely sure of what provoked King Knight to apply for Survivor. I mean, maybe he does want to try something new as he says, but I don't really know if there's even more to the story or not. Nonetheless, I don't think he's have any specific strategy out here, which of course could mean anything."
"...!" The knight nearly jumped the moment when a large spider came into view upon him eyeing one of the branches in the forest.
"I mean, he describes himself as a noble. Though the thing is, his professional name is 'King Knight', but the reality is that he isn't really a king! That only makes everything even more mysterious. Maybe if he continues to survive out here tribal by tribal, maybe we'll learn more about him as the days go on."
Chica
The final castaway of the tribe, as well as the season altogether was cheering with happiness upon Master Hand officially announcing the season on the first day.
"Chica has a bit of a story to why she was put on the tribe. She came out here at just the right time to be here. And knowing that she was body-shamed back where she came from, with her high spirit, I just had to put her on here. Not due to physical appearances, nor because of her personality alone, or the way she deals with others. She is confident and it shows that she's really been through something by what people used to say about her."
She laid in the shelter having a one on one talk with Panther.
"Now, I wouldn't be surprised if this makes her a threat right out of the gate, or at any point in the game, really. Having an underdog story already gets you quite a few points in the jury, whether in real life or Survivor, so she's already at an advantage, even though I'm pretty sure she wouldn't want her whole game to be about it. Maybe she is the strongest female on the tribe, so she can win a challenge or two to keep her safe... which would actually then make her even more of a threat. I don't know exactly how she plans on getting the target off her back, but I think if she can easily build those connections, they would probably go a long way."
"Alright, so that's everybody. Brain, Brawn, and Beauty as a theme for the third time in Survivor history. Sure, the idea is going into play thrice, but it doesn't mean that each time this theme gets puts to the test ends up with the exact same results. Literally every season has a different story. And even with this, even though it's with the same idea, there is still no exception. I can guarantee that this season will end up telling a different story as well."
