Chapter Text
Scene: Collège Françoise Dupont. Everyone is on their asserted sites with Miss Bustier, while Alya cuts out a picture of Coccielle. Alya used the Coccielle cutout, and puts it over their faces. She has a Chat Noir picture on top of her book.
Miss Bustier: I'm very pleased with how you all did on your last assignment. Some of you have really stepped up, and I do appreciate it. Now it's time to move on to our next assignment. (Alya sees Chloé trough her mask cutout. Miss Bustier looks at Juleka) is Luka still at the Nurse?
Juleka: Uh, I don't know, miss. (The bell rings, and the students prepare to leave the classroom.)
Miss Bustier: Tonight I want you all to read chapter three of "The Breathtaking France, the First Thousand Years." Then, answer this simple questionnaire. (she walks to Juleka and Nino) Her is for Adrien and Luka, can you two give it to them.
Outside the classroom. Nino sees Rose and Juleka.
Nino: Uhh, have you guys seen Luka or Adrien anywhere? (Rose and Juleka shake their heads.)
Juleka: I haven't seen Luka ether. Maybe Adrien has a pothoshoot? He sometimes disappears, maybe his father has him do something for his modeling jobs.
(Marinette and Alya joins them as they are speaking)
Marinette: So wired, both of them don't skip school, they both try their best at school. Adrien is the best in every class. He is so wonderful. (she sigh lovefully)
Alya: Come Marinnet, I need to put something in my locker before we leave. Can you wait on me before we go home and do some homework? (Marinnet still thinking about Adrien, just nods)
(Alya enters the locker room whit Marinette in hand, where she sees Chloé taking something from her locker. It's a Coccielle costume and yo-yo.)
Alya: (whispering) Chloé's Coccielle?
Scene: Outside the school. Chloé boards her limousine, Alya follows her.
Alya: I am telling you what i saw Marinette! (sees Nino) Nino, wait!
Nino: Yeah?
Alya: Come with me, I need your help!
Nino: So-- (Alya shushes him)
Marinette: Alya thinks she know who Coccielle are.
(Alya Phone rings.)
Nadja: Once again, Coccielle and Chat Noir have saved Paris from the clutches of a menacing villain.
(Alya sees Coccielle's yo-yo)
Alya: Hey! I think I've just sniffed out who the real Coccielle is! (whispers to Nino) Chloé.
Nino: (laughs) Chloé? Seriously? She's too self-absorbed to think of anyone but herself, much less save the world. You are cray-cray, lady!
Alya: I am so not! You'll see! I will show everyone. I know Luka will believe me, he never judges anyone, unlike you guys. (she sais joking, to let them know she is messing with them. She runs up to Juleka and puts a note on Lukas homework before heading home)
Scene: Paris. Coccielle is jumping above ceilings. He reaches a billboard and detransforms into Luka.
Tikki: Time flies fast when you're saving the world. Day's already over!
Luka: Tell me about it. I missed an entire half day of school, and I did not even get to hang out much with my friends. But I suppose that is the life of a superhero.
Tikki: Whoever's behind all of this sure is keeping us on our toes!
Luka: (laughs) But you don't have any toes!
Scene: Luka's room. Luka sees the homework Juleka left on his desk before leaving for Rose again.
Luka: Coccielle saved Paris from destruction once again, but who's gonna save Luka from his homework? (a sticky note from Alya) "Call me. I know who the real Coccielle is"?
Tikki: No way! You think she knows?
Luka: I doubt it. Alya's always jumping to conclusions before she has her facts straight.
Tikki: But just in case...
Luka: No worries Tikki. I got it covered.
Tikki: But what if she thinks it's you?
Luka: If she did she would have already asked me. That girl has many talents, and one of them is that she is direct and consistent, but that is her disadvantage in this situation.
Tikki: As she would have already naked you if she even had a suspicion. I see Luka, you know your friends well. Okay, I will not bug you when you do your homework. (she winks at him at the pun)
Scene: College. Chloé and Sabrina enter the school, and some students are watching her, including Aurore and Mireille.
Chloé: Hey there! Hi! You look totally fab! Uh, no, not you. Hey, it's still a month from Halloween, you know?
Nino: You need to have your head examined. If she's a superhero, then I'm the Wizard of Oz.
Alya: I'm telling you, she's Coccielle!
Nino: Can you prove it?
Scene: Locker room. Alya and Marinnette talk to Nino.
Alya: Now don't mess up your lines. (pushes Nino to the lockers)
Marinette: Thanks for doing this Nino.
Nino: (sees Chloé) Oh, uhhh... Coccielle! Look over there!
Chloé: Uhh, what kind of lame joke is this?
Nino: Uhh, well, that was... Did you see Coccielle yesterday? Isn't she amazing? I wonder who she really is.
Chloé: Uhh... up too late DJ-ing, Nino? Obviously you didn't get your beauty sleep.
(Alya takes a photo of Chloé's locker.)
Sabrina: Uh... Chloé! Alya's looking in your locker!
Marinette: Uhh... that's a lie! She was so not! (Kim steals Alya's phone)
Alya: Hey! Give it back!
Chloé: (sees the photo) Who's the little liar now?
Scene: Principal's office.
Chloé: She's guilty of invasion of privacy! I have proof!
Alya: What?! Seriously! All I did was take a measly photo!
Denis Damoclès: I'm sorry, Chloé. But there's no school policy on invasion of privacy.
Chloé: Then... then breaking and entering!
Alya: I didn't break into her locker! It was open!
Mr. Damoclès: And nothing was stolen then?
Chloé: Only my very soul! My locker is my secret garden! He who enters uninvited burglarizes my inner being, steals my life force! (sobs)
Mr. Damoclès: Right. An hour of detention for you, Alya.
Chloé: Are my ears failing me? Did I hear you're giving one miserable hour of detention to a... a heinous criminal? Sabrina!
Sabrina: The school rules clearly state that any student guilty of theft should be suspended for one full week.
Mr. Damoclès: Yes, but she's hardly stole anything.
Chloé: I'm not sure that my father would share your point of view. (prepares to call her father)
Mr. Damoclès: Uhhh, well, now, Chloé, let's not bother your father, I mean, the honorable Mayor with a minor locker situation...
(Chloé starts calling her father.)
Mr. Damoclès: Ehhh... (clears his throat) what I mean is, you're suspended for a week, Alya.
(Chloé hangs up the call.)
Alya: What?! That is so unfair! I am so gonna protest this on the school blog!
Mr. Damoclès: (looks at Chloé who's smugly shaking her phone, sighs) The school blog is hereby suspended as well.
Alya: (looks at Chloé angrily) She's no superhero, she's super-psycho!
Scene: Hawk Moth's lair. The window opens.
Hawk Moth: Ahhh... School life. Such a science experiment. A petri dish of cultivating secrets, lies and betrayal, the thriving vivarium for my evil akumas. (turns a butterfly into an akuma) Fly away, my little akuma, and evilize her!
Scene: Collège Françoise Dupont. Marinette is waiting outside of the principal's office. Alya walks outside very angry.
Marinette: Alya, what happened? Alya talk to me. Are you okay?
Alya: Nooo! They expelled me for a week. And shut down the school blog just because Chloe asked them to. This is ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous! (She is waving her arms in her anger, with her phone in one hand. The akuma from above and enters her cell phone, evilizing her.)
Hawk Moth: Lady Wifi, I heard through the grapevine that you're seeking to unmask Coccielle... I'd like to help you if you agree to help me too.
Alya: I'll expose the lies of anyone who covers up the truth! Sign me up! (turns into Lady Wifi)
Scene: Literature classroom. Marinette enters, and sees Adrien and Nino.
Marinette: Alya… help! she, expeled, akuma! help…
Nino: She's been suspended...
Marinette: What?!
Miss Bustier: Marinette, you need to clam down, i cant understand. Something happened to Alya?
Marinette: Sorry... (whispers to Nino) What happened to her?
Nino: The short story? Accused of breaking into Chloé's locker. I mean, Coccielle's locker...
Adrien: WHAT?!?
Miss Bustier: That's it, Good Marinette. Can you try and tell us again what happened?
Marinette: Alya got akumatised after she got expelled. I saw it myself. We need to go before she gets her.
Miss Bustier: Me and Marinette will go and get Mr Damocles to evacuate the school, so class just starts leaving quietly now okay. (Marinette takes her bag and she leaves the classroom with Miss Bustier.)
Adrien: (whispers to Nino) What are you saying? And why would Alya get akumetised because of that. She would be happy to have found out who Coccielle is, not mad.
Nino: Exactly what I said, bro. Alya says Chloé is Coccielle! She “broke into” her locker to check if it was true, and now it looks like she is expelled for that.
(Adrien sees Chloé; she winks at him and he is confused then he turns his head towards back before he packs his bag. He says goodby to Nino, waving to both Nathaniel and Luka as they run past him.)
(Marinette and Miss Bustie arrives at the principal's office)
Marinette: Mr. Damoclès? (opens the door) Sir? (sees that Denis Damoclès is frozen, and a pink stop icon is in front of him) Huh?!
(The computer screen lights up, revealing Lady Wifi.)
Lady Wifi: I'm Lady Wifi, revealer of the truth! For our first exposé, your principal would like to share a little tidbit with you. So, Denis Damoclès, is it true you wrongly suspended a student named Alya today?
Mr. Damoclès: (feeling ashamed) Uh... yes, it is.
Lady Wifi: So, you were biased? Unfair? Totally unjust?!
Mr. Damoclès: Yes, I was.
(Marinette fals on Miss Bustie’s shoes as she tries to go back out of the room. Lady Wifi shot a pause button at Marinette but it hits Miss Bustie)
Marinette: Oh, no! Alya! (Lady Wifi puts a pink stop icon on Denis Damoclès, freezing him) Stay connected! (turns the screen off, as Marinette runs away, Lady Wifi running after her)
Lady Wifi: For my next scoop, I'll be taking you to meet the girl who's been hiding behind the Coccielle mask! (Luka is seen to go back into the classroom after everyone has left)
Luka: So now I need to figure out who she believes is me. I hope Chat Noir has any clues.
[ Transformation Sequence ]
Luka: Tikki, spots on! (Luka transforms into Coccielle)
(he sees he has a message from Chat Noir.)
Coccielle: I knew I could count on you Chat Noir. Let’s go. (he throws his yo-yo out the window and flyers out)
Scene: Bathroom.
Adrien: If Chloé is Coccielle like Alya said, then Lady Wifi's gonna head straight for her house!
Plagg: (teasing) And it also means you must have a crush on Chloé! (laughs, Adrien grunts in protest)
[ Transformation Sequence ]
Adrien: Plagg, claws out! (Adrien transforms into Chat Noir)
Chat Noir: (take out his staff before sending a message to Coccielle.) Meet me at the mayer daughter's place. She has angered a new akuma from the school she goes to.(he the runs out)
Scene: The city. Chat Noir runs in the ceiling and sees the hotel. He takes his staff and sees Chloé dressed as Coccielle.
Chat Noir: What? This can't be!
Coccielle: (who is sneaking up on him) Who's being a sneaky kitty now?
Chat Noir: Oh, Coccielle. But--
Coccielle: Come on, you don’t remember that you have already seen both of us the same time before. Also I am not blond.
(Chloé keeps playing with her yo-yo and ends up tying herself up.)
Chat Noir: Yeah, of course not.
Coccielle: And besides, she's obviously just a die-hard fan.
Chat Noir: Right.
Scene: Chloé's room. Chloé dressed as Coccielle, is trying to untie herself, when her cell phone rings.
Chloé: (answers the phone) Hello? (the phone starts to emit a bright pink glow, she throws it, and Lady Wifi appears)
Lady Wifi: Well, hello there, Coccielle! (Chloé tries to run away, but Lady Wifi puts a pink pause icon on Chloé, stopping her)
Coccielle: We got Wifi! (she and Chat Noir head to the hotel)
Lady Wifi: (puts a camera icon above Chloé) Well, well... So my hunch was correct in window. (from screens) Everyone thinks the girl beneath the Coccielle costume is a little angel. Think again, people! The real Coccielle is... (tears off her mask) Chloé Bourgeois, everyone! (Coccielle and Chat Noir enter the hotel) Who are you?
Chat Noir: Uhhh... (poses in front of them)
Lady Wifi: (looks at Chloé) But I thought you were Coccielle!
Chat Noir: Sorry to bust your news story. Next time, double-check your facts.
Lady Wifi: You'll be sorry. (uses her cellphone to delete the pink icons, releasing Chloé. Chloé trips and falls)
Coccielle: Alya?
Lady Wifi: Alya's been disconnected. I'm Lady Wifi. News flash! Coccielle, let's find out who you really are!
Coccielle: Follow me!
(They starts running for the stairs)
Chat Noir: So what's the plan?
Coccielle: She gets her powers from her phone, so let's lead her to the basement, where there isn't any service!
Chat Noir: No service, no power. Nice one, my lady!
(Lady Wifi attacks her with a pink pause, Coccielle dodges it.)
Coccielle: We've gotta go lower!
Lady Wifi: (laughs) I've got you now, Coccielle!
Coccielle: Get ready!
Chat Noir: So, what do you do when you're not Coccielle?
Coccielle: (looks shocked, then recovers) You and your timing, maybe another time kitten, i will answer.(sees that Lady Wifi is no longer above them) She's gone back into the hotel!
Chat Noir: (sees that pink lock icons have been put on all the doors) She locked all the doors! Hey, you realize we might actually know each other in normal life.
Coccielle: Doubt it. It's locked!
(They reach the top door, which doesn't have a pink lock on it.)
Chat Noir: She's left this one open.
Coccielle: Get ready for an ambush on 3. 1, 2, 3!
(They burst through the door to the dining room, only to find that Lady Wifi is nowhere to be found. Phones are on all the tables.)
Chat Noir: Ahhh... So much for the ambush.
Coccielle: And what's up with all these phones? She must have a plan with them.
(A pink light comes out from a phone, and Lady Wifi appears. She attacks them.)
Chat Noir: How now, brown cow? I thought it was you she was after!
(Coccielle ties Lady Wifi with his yo-yo, but she disappears, re-appearing above one phone after another.)
Lady Wifi: Ha! You can't get me!
Coccielle: Yes I can. (He and Chat Noir starts breaking all the phones with his yo-yo and Chat Noir staff. Lady Wifi runs into the kitchen. When Coccielle follows her in, Lady Wifi locks the door behind her)
Chat Noir: No, no, no... Hold on in there, Coccielle! (checks the hotel map in his staff) Of course! The service elevator!
(Back in the kitchen, Coccielle dodges Lady Wifi's attacks until his hands get pinned to the wall by two lock icons. Lady Wifi puts a camera icon in front of her.)
Lady Wifi: (from a projection in the sky) Who is Coccielle? Is he a superhero or a super-weirdo? How can we trust the guy when we have no idea who he really is? We have the right to know! (tries to remove Coccielle's mask, but it won't come off) Why doesn't it come off?
Coccielle: Uhhh... because it's magic?
(The service elevator door opens, and Chat Noir comes through.)
Chat Noir: You're out of minutes, Lady Wifi!
Lady Wifi: Oh, how romantic. Tomcat's come to save his love bug.
Chat Noir: Well if he wants me he can have me, but we'll come back to that later.
(Lady Wifi attacks him, knocking him into the freezer room. His ring comes off, releasing Plagg, and Chat Noir turns into Adrien.)
(Plagg shivers.)
Adrien: My ring!
Plagg: Ooh... so chilly in here.
Adrien: Where is it? I could use a little help!
Lady Wifi: Well, well... what am I gonna do with both of you?
Hawk Moth: (from his lair) Get him to use her Lucky Charm! It'll force him to switch back, and his true identity will be revealed, and his Miraculous will be mine.
Lady Wifi: If you don't get him outta fast, your crush will soon be slush. Ha ha ha! (removes the locks from Coccielle's hands.) Good luck with your cat popsicle! I have other news to cover! (disappears)
Coccielle: Huh?
Scene: Outside Le Grand Paris. The mayor and two police cars are there.
André: Come on...
(Chloé exits the hotel and hugs her father. She checks her phone, but Lady Wifi comes out from it and flies into the sky. She begins broadcasting herself.)
Lady Wifi: What's up, peeps! Listen everyone! I present you with the award-winning news story you've all been waiting for!
(In the kitchen, Coccielle is trying to break down the door to the freezer room.)
Coccielle: I'll get you out of there, Chat Noir! (Adrien is shivering while he is trapped)
Adrien: Take your time!
Lady Wifi: (broadcasting) Don't blink, 'cause Coccielle's about to drop the bomb on her real identity!
Coccielle: Lucky Charm! (a box appears) This better be some lucky box... (looks around and his Lucky vision highlights the microwave) Of course, the microwaves! (puts the box in the microwave, and uses it to melt the lock icon)
Adrien: (finds his ring) Gotcha! Gotcha!
Coccielle: Come on, micro-thingies, jam this signal...
(The freezer door opens and Chat Noir is shivering while he falls and Coccielle catches him.)
Coccielle: You okay, Chat Noir? (his Miraculous beeps)
Chat Noir; You used your Lucky Charm...there's not much time left.
Lady Wifi: Exactly!
Chat Noir: Open the kitchen door!
Coccielle: We can't, microwave's busted. (whispers to Chat Noir) Here's what we'll do, listen to me...
Chat Noir: Got it.
(Chat Noir is giggling while he puts a pan over the top of the camera icon, blocking Lady Wifi's screen.)
Lady Wifi: What is he up to?
Hawk Moth: Don't let my Miraculous get away!
Lady Wifi: Right!
Chat Noir: (gets in the service elevator) I'll go and jam the wi-fi antenna.
Coccielle: Good luck!
(Lady Wifi runs to the ceiling, while Chat Noir dodges her attacks. He reaches the top floor of the hotel.)
Chat Noir: (sees the wi-fi antenna) Here you are! Cataclysm!
Lady Wifi: Nice idea, kitty cat, but I'm not gonna let you cut me off so easily! (starts firing pink pause symbols at him)
Coccielle: (her Miraculous beeps again) Hurry, Chat Noir...
(Lady Wifi keeps attacking Chat Noir, but he dodges her. He uses his staff to attack her, but she dodges. The staff splits into two, but she destroys them. She sees Chat Noir is about to destroy the antenna.)
Lady Wifi: Nooooo!
(Chat Noir destroys the antenna, and Lady Wifi falls off. The pink symbols disappear, and Coccielle exits the kitchen.)
Lady Wifi: Lost the signal!
Chat Noir: Gimme that phone!
(Chat Noir tries to take the phone away from her, but she dodges. Chat Noir finds himself defenseless, but Coccielle appears and takes the phone away from her.)
Coccielle: (breaks the phone, releasing its akuma) No more evil-doing for you, little akuma. Time to de-evilize! (captures the akuma) Gotcha! (releases the purified butterfly) Bye bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Coccielle! (throws the Lucky Charm into the air, its energy repairs all the damage, and turns everything back to normal.)
Alya: (Lady Wifi turns back into Alya.)What?
Coccielle and Chat Noir: Pound it!
Alya: Coccinelle! Chat Noir! Wow! Can I get a quick interview? Just let me grab my phone!
Chat Noir: (his Miraculous beeps) Uhh... gotta go. You've only got a minute.
Alya: So-- oh, no! Where did they go?
(Coccielle is about to enter a room, but Chat Noir stops him.)
Chat Noir: Stay! (his Miraculous beeps) I won't tell anyone who you are. Cat's honor.
Coccielle: Some day, I promise, but not tonight. On bug’s honor. (closes the door. Chat Noir is about to open it, but sigh before leaving. Coccielle detransforms)
Tikki: Phew, that was too close for comfort!
Marinette: Tell me about it. (opens the door, seeing nobody outside)
(Adrien leaves the hotel.)
Plagg: That was the chance to find out who the love of your life really is! What were you thinking?
Adrien: That's the thing, Plagg. I wasn't thinking. I was following my heart.
Hawk Moth: Your mask will fall one day, Coccielle. You'll have no choice then but to hand over your precious Miraculous!
Scene: Luka’s room on Libarty.
Tikki: Is that true? You're gonna tell him? Is that what your heart's saying?
Luka: Someday I will most likely Tikki, but not today or very soon. (he sighed as he lay back in his bed, sterling up in the siling) I will admit I have thought about it, but there is too much at stake now. Either of them could get akumatisted, and if we know Hawk Moth has the information he needs to succeed. We can't let that happen.
Alya: Got it!
Luka: And on a more personal level, I like Chat Noir, he is funny and he is fun to joke around with. That is something I am scared to lose if we tell each other.
Tikki: But you two are friends now? Are you not?
Luka: I suppose we are, but I am scared it would change after it is known.
Tikki: I'm sure both of you will get stronger if you ever do it. But I agree, now is not the time. (she flyers up and give him a hug on the cheek)
scene: Marinette room. Marinette is sawing. Alya runs into the rom)
Alya: Wanna see my new smartphone? It puts my old phone to shame! Just look at these pics!
Marinette: Huh? What's with all these photos of Adrien?
Alya: Well... with a mask and a costume, don't you think he looks a little bit like Chat Noir?
Marinette: Are you out of your mind? He's tons more legit than Chat Noir!
Alya: Hey! I happened to think that Chat Noir is pretty slick.
Marinette: Anyway, stop taking photos of Adrien. Well, unless you give them to me, afterwards. (snatches Alya's phone)
Alya: Give it back! (runs after Marinette)
Marinette: Nope!
Alya: Oh, come on, Marinette! What if you drop it? Everyone knows how clumsy you are!
(Both laugh.)
