"The moon shone brightly in the dark blue sky. Little Whinging was as calm as ever, no loud music, no parties, no freakshines; just neatly colored houses stacked next to each other, with well-cared-for gardens and regular, normal families. But inside an ordinary home, at Private Drive number 4, lived a different kind of weird - a boy with lanky limbs, dirty short hair, and bright green eyes- eyes so green they looked uncanny, almost magical; as if they could look through you and discover your biggest and darkest secrets.
The boy’s name was Harry - a child so different that not even the freakiest of freaks would accept them - his relatives would say. Poor was the life of little Harry Potter, cursed to live a life where he would always be othered, maybe even by those like him."

In a timeline where Voldemort never existed, Harry Potter is just a non-famous but still weird child who realises he's magical and goes to Hogwarts before his relatives can stop him. But in a world where magic is the norm, and the freakish things Harry did are common practice, somehow, he's still different from the rest of the wizards. At least his differences garner him interesting friends, right?
