Summary
Marinette sat cross-legged on her bed, scrolling through her texts with a stupid smile on her face.
She fell back into her pillows, sighing happily. Dating him felt like a dream. A soft, warm, confusing dream where every second she questioned whether he actually liked her or if she was imagining everything. Down below, something clinked on her balcony.
Marinette sat upright instantly.
Only one person arrived unannounced at night. She opened the trapdoor.
Chat Noir stood on her balcony railing like he was posing for a magazine cover.
“Bonsoir, Princess.” He winked.
Marinette groaned.
“Chat Noir, I JUST changed into pajamas. Why are you here?!”
“Couldn’t sleep,” he said, stepping into her room. “Thought I’d check on my favorite civilian.”
She raised an eyebrow. “You have… multiple civilians?”
He grinned. “Naturally. But you’re my favorite. Don’t tell the others.” -

End 12 mari messes with chat/adrien by kissing chat while dating Adrien and saying he doesn't have to know when chat brings up her boyfriend. He spirals and is freaked out about being cheated on with himself. End 17 still spiraling. Going to visit mari as chat again first time since the kiss End 21. Mari kind of tells Adrien without giving specifics. She decides to stay away from Chat as Mari.told Chat it mattered that he matters in a different way than Adrien matters.
