"Yeah," Eddie huffs softly. "Me too."
"I think this is my last first kiss," Buck admits, not looking away from Eddie for even a second. The deep, familiar brown of his eyes is grounding.
"I know it's mine," Eddie says quietly.

During a late night conversation at Eddie's. Buck asks him about love. Buck tells him he's never been in love, Eddie has though. Buck asks him about it but Eddie deflects by asking why Buck thinks he's never been in love. Buck explains that he was left a lot, that maybe he's never let himself be in love, to scared to lose the person. Eddie explains how love feels for him. It's like feeling safe and at home with someone who's always going to be there. Buck tells Eddie he should tell her about his feelings, even if he thinks they're unreciprocated. So Eddie does. He tells Buck he loves him and Buck doesn't understand and he says me too and prompts him to tell her again. Eddie explains there's no 'her'. Buck realizes Eddie's in love with a man. Buck panics and flees to his car where he has a panic attack. Eddie calms him down and takes him back to his. Eddie, thinking that Buck understood what he went earlier, asks him what prompted the panic attack. Buck says it has nothing to do with the man Eddie's in love with and then Buck tells him he deserves to be happy and that he should still confess to the guy. Eddie is confused and realizes that Buck misunderstood. Eddie then went to bed and gave Buck the couch.
In the middle of the night Buck finally got it. Cursing his own stupidness, he rushed to Eddie's room to talk to him. Buck told him he finally understood and that he was stupid, Eddie invited him to the bed and Buck took him in his arms and told him he was in love too.
The next day Eddie and Buck exchanged a very soft and sappy morning. Full of firsts. A first kiss on the kitchen counter, a first time ln the floor. Lots of sweet confessions and feelings.
Buck realizes then that he's living the beginning of the rest of his life with the love of his life.Absolutely adorable and slightly heartbreaking for Eddie at the beginning, seeing Buck have a panic attack and thinking he doesn't love him, he looked so dejected and sad. The morning after was so soft though.
