Chapter Text
Freya, Rapunzel, Pascal, Eugene and I arrive at the palace. There are European or Hispanic guards with short, brown or black hair, blue or brown eyes, wearing gold armor standing in front of the palace.
I woke to footsteps in my room. “There is a ghost.” I visualize. - I have no idea what that could be. I turned around. An extremely aged Gothel stood in front of me.
“Oh, gosh!” I quickly exclaimed. “What are you doing here?”.
“I want what you stole from me.” She explained. I raised an eyebrow. “I want your baby!”.
“Oh, no thank you!” I cooed. She hit my sword with her sword and knocked it to my back. I collapsed and hit the carpeted floor beneath me. I could only watch as Gothel jumped off the castle balcony into the night with Rapunzel. I passed out. I remember. - Something bad happened.
“Oh no, the palace is shut down! Something bad happened!” I explain. Rapunzel gasps. We hug. A European guard with brown hair and blue eyes, runs in.
Frederic and Cassandra run out. He hugs Freya, Rapunzel, Pascal, and I. We kneel. I extend my hand to Eugene. He grabs it. I pull him in. He extends his hand to Cassandra. She grabs it. He pulls her in.
Freya, Rapunzel, Pascal, Eugene, Cassandra and I are in the garden. Frederic comes in.
“Arianna, I'm so sorry that I locked you up. When Rapunzel disappeared and you began to show signs of having sun magic, I freaked out. You know how there were a bunch of guards out front when you came back? I shut down the palace to look for you. I'm so sorry that I was overprotective of you all these years. I… just can't imagine what I would do if I lost you.” He explains.
“I understand. I forgive you.” I reply.
I was sitting on a nook in my bedroom. Frederic came in.
“Any sign of Rapunzel?” I questioned.
“Unforuntely, no… I'm afraid I have to confine you to the palace for the time being.” He announced.
“Pardon?” I questioned.
“You are free now.”. I jump and hug him. I kiss him. Freya, Rapunzel, Pascal, Eugene, Cassandra, Frederic and I in Frederic's and mine room. Freya is perched on my shoulder. Pascal is on Rapunzel’s shoulder.
I was standing behind the palace gates. Freya was perched on my shoulder. Lila and Naomi were standing on the other side of the gates.
“Okay, The King rules alone, right, Naomi?” Lila asked Naomi.
“Yes, Lila,” Naomi replied. “Frederic sits on the throne.” I visualized. - What do they think happened to me, then?
“Was he ever married?”.
“Yes,”.
“What happened to the other monarch, then?”. She raised an eyebrow.
“She got attacked by a witch when she was 17 and nobody ever saw her again so, some people assume she's dead.”. I gasped.
“I'm going to talk to Frederic. People think I'm dead! I have to make this right! Let's go, Freya!” I announced.
“We should probably explain to the people that I'm alive.” I announce.
“Yeah, probably.” Frederic announces.
“Yeah, that sounds like a good idea.” Rapunzel agrees.
“Good idea,” Cassandra agrees.
“Okay,” Eugene agrees.
We step out. Trumpets sound.
“People of Corona! I, The Queen of Corona, am alive, and The Lost Princess, Rapunzel, has returned! Rapunzel was held in a tower by Gothel, and I was confined to the palace. But, now, we are free!” I announce. The people cheer. Freya, Rapunzel, Pascal, Eugene, Cassandra, Frederic and I hug.
