Chapter Text
The fireplace gave a welcoming roar as an odd-looking yet jovial man prodded the logs with a firepoker.
The man was quite rotund, one could mistake him as a snowman built from two balls of snow from afar, a shiny nearly bald head that held a single yet long twirled thread of blonde hair that seemed to emit a glowing white light, skin that was pale as ivory, his face was chubby, friendly yet held seniority with wrinkles that made his head look like a pumpkin and rosy red cheeks that seemed to add to the warmness of his appearance as well as a smile that bore a sense of care and compassion.
His attire was flamboyant, with a yellow pinstriped formal dress shirt, a bright blue ascot tied as a bow, a pale and vibrant khaki waistcoat, a bright and glittering yellow tailcoat whose coat tails twirled at the ends, a pair of dark blue straight-legged trousers, and a pair of brown leather buttoned ankle shoes.
“Twinkle, twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are.” He began to sing as he grabbed a pair of tongs from behind him, and he then used them to flip over something upon the fire.e “Above the world so high, Like a diamond in the sky. Twinkle, twinkle little star, ar how I wonder what you are~.”
“When the blazing sun is gone, when he nothing shines upon, then you shine your little light, Twinkle, twinkle all at the night~” He continued before he used the tongs to pull out a shining star from the fireplace “Twinkle, twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are~.”
As he ends his son,g he gently blows upon the star to cool it before approaching an open still leading to outer space, filled with stars, nebulae, and remarkable and beautiful planets of many shapes and sizes.
The man pokes out the prong holding the star before releasing the star, ar which began to levitate and fly, leaving a sparkling trail of golden star dust as it went before finding its home among other stars in a constellation.
The man laughed in amusement before shutting the window closed.
He sets down the tongs against a wall before widening his eyes upon laying his eyes on us, all of us, the readers.
“Now is this a pleasant surprise…” He said as he straightened his clothes, “Ah! How rude of me…the name is Aster Aether Amadeus Aurelius Altair, I’m a wishing star, and well, I grant wishes.”
He then looked both ways suspiciously before looking at us with an excited and mischievous glint in his eye, “Wanna see something truly marvelous?”
He then guides u,s unexpected guests, through his cozy and humble abode, setting aside various pieces of furniture, parchments detailing star charts, and antiques, until we reach a giant wall of paintings with golden frames.
Each painting depicted various scenes of people spanning the history of Earth.
“This is my wall of happy endings, each painting representing a wish I granted to the poor, the tortured, those of good hearts who were given a bad hand from life or from others,” Aster explained “Some wish for love, others wish to be saved from their miserable lives, and there are times where one wish for a hero which brings us to our main story…”
Aster then guides our attention towards one painting depicting a handsome, charming, young man with frizzled white hair, sparkling emerald eyes, wearing what seems to be a gold and white attire befitting a fairy tale prince, complete with a flowing collar, a dark blue cape, and with the inside being filled with stars. The young man was posed heroically with a saber, striking down a pale dragon together with a stunning young lady in a frilled pink dress with curly brunette hair and rosy pink cheeks, eks wielding an axe.
The rest of the painting depicts many other adventures of the young man, starting from his days as a baby to the battle that would make him a legend alongside other miraculous characters and fantastical animals.
Aster beckons us to come closer as he points his finger at a small crystal lens that was encrusted onto the center top of the painting’s golden frame.
“Peer through here and watch and listen as I tell you this tale of heroes, villains, true love, hilarity, kindness, and wishes~” He states.
We then humored him, stepping closer to the painting and peering through the crystal llenss and it seemingly brought us to the start of our story just as Aster began to narrate.
“Once Upon a time, twas the 19th year of the 22nd century, at the height of the age of quirks! All starting from a lone babe with glowing skin, these fantastical abilities are now held by almost everyone in the world, and when it comes to great power comes great responsibility and great abuse of that power. Like a vile serpent, evil slithered from the hearts of men who wished to bring harm to the innocent and those they see as weak or to feed their avarice, but soaring down in robust wing beat were heroes! From masks, capes, and tights, these extraordinary individuals risk their lives to protect, serve, and comfort, to bring hope to the hopeless, to bring peace in times of chaos, and be bastions of great moral strength, but all other heroes pale in comparison to All Might, the symbol of peace. Because of his Herculean efforts, he has brought Japan to an unprecedented time of peace, but our story is not about him but rather a humble young woman and her wish.”
A beautiful night sky stared down the tranquil city of Musutafu. Still, among the many stars that glittered the great black expanse of the cosmos one shined brighter than its brothers and sisters, a flashing white star that was grandiose and reverent than any diamond, a star that burned with hope, blinding to those who were determined to snuff it out, and a light that mystified all who sought to find it through their telescope.
Looking upon that very star, from the cracked window of the lowly apartment, was a young lady with beauty fairer than most, with long, flowing hair verdant like the grass of spring, eyes of emerald, and skin white as ivory and clear as snow, but despite this, she held within her a shattered heart.
A pained gasp escaped her mouth as she wiped away one of the many tears she shed.
“Please…” she said in a pleading whisper, “Please…Star light, star bright, First star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might, Have this wish I have tonight…”
Her breath hitches as her eyes soon fall towards her belly, her womb, a solemn and cold aura overtakes he,r and she then covers it as she wept more tears.
♬Here me cry little star,
Shine away my sorrow,
Shine bright till all I see is light,
Shine mightier till I feel burning!♬
She sang as she then turned away from the window, dow using her flowing locks to wipe away her tears, and faced a framed photo of her and a charming young man.
♬Oh, little star, here my plea!
Light a way for a better morrow!
Light a way to a happier ending!
Light a way to somewhere brighter than an empty altar!♬
Her sadness turns to scorned rage as she tears away her gaze from the photo before smashing the glass of the photo’s frame, cutting her knuckles, making them bleed.
♬So little star, answer me!
To believe we would age together!
So why can’t I see,
He promised heaven more than the hell I’m forced in!?♬
As she sang the high note from her aching heart, tears streaming down his red, swollen eyes, the star she wished to begin to shine brighter and brighter before dimming itself as she turned to look through the window.
♬I wish for nothing more!
Than the happiness I bled for!
To bear a bouncing joy!
To be in a house of two loves!♬
She collapses upon the floor before picking herself up and staggering to her bed.
♬So little star shine your light,
I wish for a child who makes life worth living
I wish a child who makes tomorrow brighter
I wish for a child to make me smile~♬
Right as she ended her song, she gave one last teary-eyed glance at the star before resting upon her bed, softly crying herself to sleep.
“This is Inko Hikitsuga, praised for her beauty and nothing else. She wanted nothing more than true love, man or woman; she wanted someone to love her as much as she would love them, someone to create a joyous life with her, a family, a truly happily ever after, but much like those whodealtn me, she was dealt a truly unfortunate and cruel hand. She met a humble cafe owner by the name of Hisashi Midoriya, who was everything she wanted in a partner: kind, caring, softspoken, and, no matter what,t he made her laugh and smile. He promised her a family and that he was her prince and her his prince, ss but it wasn’t meant to be. On the day of their wedding, a villain attacked, but although the heroes fighting were triumphant, Inko’s prince charming was unfortunately the collateral damage. She had hoped for Hisashi to survive their child,ld but alas, and to rub salt in the wound, she was barren…
She had suffered so much, lost too much, and that’s where I come in.”
Far from Inko’s apartment and to the wishing star itself, Aster appeared to be peering through a telescope that poked out of the window of his abode.
Distraught and tearing himself up, he quickly went to work on making Inko’s wish come true.
Aster rushed through his home, quickly picking up his pair of tongs to take out a burning pure starlight from his fireplace.
“Let’s see here…” He trailed off to himself as he plopped down the piece of starlight into his workbench, which was filled with tools, various elements, and lucky charms inside bottles or jars.
“Tons of love…” Aster said as he poured a bottle of bright pink fire onto the starlight before grabbing a fistful of four-leaf clovers from a jar and crushing them to sprinkle into the starlight, “Some luck~.”
The wishing star then hurried to get a chest from a shelf, and upon retrieving and opening it, it revealed a giant mound of various meda.ls He then picked out one that was of a wreath and star, one that was shaped like a heart with an engraving of a lion’s head, and lastly one that was shaped like a shield with crossed swords.
“Honor, a courageous heart, and a soldier’s loyalty,” Aster said as he then placed all three medals upon the piece of starlight before using a forge hammer to infuse the medals inside.
“Okay, what else…” He asked himself before his eyes wandered off towards a hanging bird cage where he keeps his dove, “Of course, a mother would love a boy who is a lover of peace.”
“Scuse me, Callum,” He pardoned his pet dove before plucking out a feather from its wings and tail feathers.
“Wait…something is missing…” He paused as he then tightened the feathers in his fist, his “Eureka!”
The wishing star then sped through his home as he grabbed a small pocket-sized golden teddy bear, a fairy tale book, and a small clay bust of Leonardo da Vinci before bringing them all to his workbench.
“Oka,y so a lover of peace~” he grinds the dove feathers with a mortar and pestle before dumping the result into the piece of starlight.
“...forever have a child’s spirit, wonder, and kindness…” he places the golden teddy bear on top of the piece of starlight, and its heat melts the bear as he uses his forge hammer to infuse it.
Aster flips through the pages of the fairytale book to rip out a page that contains an illustration of the dashing Prince Charming, which he rolls up and pushes down into the starlight.ht “...and your child shall be as charming and handsome as your departed love.”
He then infuses the small clay bust of the famed Renaissance artist into the starlight:ght “Your child will be blessed in his creativity and wit…”
Aster then scans his home for anything he could add to the wish.
“Let's see…she did ask for a child to bring smiles to others, shine away the darkness, and to bring a brighter tomorrow, perhaps a child that is…” He stops himself as a smile graces his face, “A hero!”
Aster then runs around his home, picking up various magical items to infuse into the starlight.
“A hero who shall be a legend!” He said as he used his forge hammer to infuse an ancient Greek vase depicting Perseus.
“A hero who shall best anyone with a blade!" he proclaimed as he then infused a fencing rapier.
“A hero who shall never lose his way!” He infuses a heart-shaped compass.
“A hero who shall be fair, right, and true!” He infused a heart of pure gold and a weighing scale of justice.
“He will as well face every danger with jokes & jests!” He infuses a jester’s scepter.
“Now I am willing to admit I might’ve overdone this wish, and what will happen next might be enough to demote me to duty in a minor constellatio,n, but I swear to the Celestial Choir that it was a pure accident, a happy one if I might add.
Let’s just say fate has a way of doing her job…”
As Aster was about to ready his forge hammer for the final slam, he accidentally cut a small slit on his left hand from one of the sharp corners ofhis workbenchh.
“Wouch!” He yelped as he then shook his hand, unknowingly spilling some of his golden stardust blood upon the piece of starlight.
“...And when I mean by that, I mean cruel and unusual…
…I should really talk to her about that…”
After hurriedly wrapping cloth onto his left hand,d Aster made the final slam with a forge hammer. The piece of starlight glowed with immense, blinding golden rays.
Satisfied, Aster gently carried the ball of starlight with his tongs and brought it out from his window.
“Okay now…ahem.. Inko Hikitsuga, I have heard your cries, and as such,h you say your wish has been granted!” Aster announced toward the celestial heavens, ns making the wish to shake and burst away from his tongs like a rocket engine as it then traveled through the solar system till it hurtled down to Earth.
Upon bursting through the atmosphere, it played and danced among the clouds, forming and shaping the nubilias into various characters, items, and creatures, such as swords, knights, mermaids, giant birds, dragons, and princesses.
The wish then dove down to the city of Musatafu as it twirled, wisped, and zipped down mountains, hills, speeding through forests, plains, and city streets like a speeding comet, its tail leaving a trail of golden stardust as it went, before it screeched to a halt as it arrived at the open window of the broken-hearted young lady’s apartment.
It gently hovered over Inko’s abode and zipped towards her bed, its golden white light illuminating the face of the woman, with a grimaced and pained expression.
The ball of light,t as if it were alive, ve motioned itself to appear like it was shaking its head in disapproval before it shook itself above the woman’s head, sprinkling its own stardust, which seemed to bring an easing and almost healing presence as her face changed to that of a warm, satisfied, and blissful smile.
The wish then drew near the woman’s face, reshaping itself to a 5 pointed star, growing two dark ovals as eyes, looking more like a cartoony, cute living star one would find in an old cartoon or a kid’s drawing, as it then used two of its points as arms to gently hug the face of the woman comfortingly.
The mini-star then went under the blanket of the bed, its light dimming slightly as it too slept, all the while its form melted into the mattress and reshaped into a small infant in the fetal position.
[-The Next Morning-]
Inko stared in utter disbelief at what she found snuggled up to her once she woke up…
“Hehehehehehe~”
An adorable and surprisingly small naked infant with fair skin much like hers, a full head of moppy curled ebony-white hair that glowed a bright gold, deep emerald eyes that sparkles at each blink alongside what seemed to be a whole universe's worth of stars within the pupils, pointed elf-like ears, chubby cheeks with star-shaped freckles, and was giggling all the while a soft twinkling was heard it did.
“It…can’t be…” Inko said as she then hesitantly placed a lone finger upon the cheek of the strange and miraculous baby.
“Gahehehe!” The baby giggled before using his stubby and soft infantile hands to hold Inko’s finger.
Just like that, a sudden surge of motherly warmth coursed through Inko, her heart feeling a sudden embrace and release of sorts.
“It did come true…” Inko softly whispered to herself as she pulled her small, bright, and giggling miracle boy close to her, “OH,h Hisas, hi if you were now…”
“Hehe ha!” her baby squeaked before hugging her back.
Inko let out a cooing whimper and a small joyous tear as she then used a small blanket to swaddle her precious baby boy.
She smiles warmly at her boy, running her handssoftlyt through his ethereal white locks.
“Awe~ what kind of mother I am that I got too excited to give you a name…” She playfully admonished herself much to the amusement of her miracle child, “Hmm…let me see…perhaps…Izuku.”
The bab,y despite his short time of existence,ce gave a very excited expression upon hearing his new name.
“Hehehe~” Inko giggled at her baby’s reaction.
“It means exit cause you just brought me to a new chapter of my life, and it also means long cause you were what I longed for~” Inko explained as she then kissed Izuku’s forehead and cradled him in her arms,
Izuku let out an excited squeaky giggle.
“Awe my little star, you~” Inko cooed as she then lowered her face to be in Izuku’s reach,h which the baby took as an invitation to gently grab his mother’s nose.
Inko softly laughed at her son’s antics.
“Ooh, I wish I had a proper phone just to share Mitsuki the good news~” Inko said to herself, unaware that it would be granted when Little Izuku perked up and released a squeaky sneeze that seemed to produce a small cloud of glowing golddustu, st which dissipated as quickly as it appeared.
“Oh, bless you~” Inko excusedherself only to feel something upon her lap.
She gently moved her left hand to retrieve what was on her lap while gripping her right around a swaddled Izuku to not drop him.
And upon feeling the rectangular shape, she raised her left hand to see that she was grasping a phone, a new and most expensive model from Shield-Tech to boot, and around it was a resplendent scarlet red ribbon done in a bow.
Her eyes widened as wide as plates.
“Did…did you do this?” Inko asked in both alarm and awe, to which her baby boy gave a cheeky giggle before nodding his head.
“Oh…oh my…you're a special one, aren’t you?” Inko asked as she then gazed back and forth between Izuku and her newly required phone as she let the fact of her baby boy seemingly spawning her a gift at her bequest sink in.
“Huh…” Is all she could say.
“Something you should know about u,s wishing stars especially younger ones, once they hear any wish they are bound to grant it no matter how frivolous, selfish, nonsensical, and even cruel it may be which is my many of us are taug to put an ironical twist when granting wishes for the wicked and to fulfill the wishes to only the innocent.
Now, in that sense,e one would be worried about half-wishingng star child being raised by a mortal human woman, but I had put my faith in Inko in that she may raise that boy to be right and true...”
We are shown inside Inko’s apartment, where little Izuku is soaring through the air, leaving a trail of golden stardust, giggling, all the while booping his cute little nos,e which magically spawned various luxurious gifts such for his mother as dresses, kitchen appliances, jewelry, and fine furniture while Inko laughed and flew close to the ceiling with her son.
“... we'll, what's a good gift if you don’t lose it right?”
Inko soon cradled Iz,uku, which caused the little miracle to bring them down gently upon their bed alongside the gifts.
With a satisfied sigh, Inko cradled Izuku to sleep, seeing his, hers, and everyone’s future is bright.
Empryean Prince
The Wishing Hero
“So it was, Inko raised Izuku, and he was every bit of a child she and her beloved Hisashi could ever wish for. Besides what she thought as his “quirk” he was polite as polite as can be, tender as a warming fire, welcoming as an open door, humorous and playful as a circus clown, charming as a prince, and had an unlimited love and compassion for others, especially those who were often looked down upon or ignored as well as the will to do all that is good for the people around him. “
Time seemingly sped by for us as we watched Izuku with Inko over the years, with the baby Izuku growing to toddler, to a boy, and soon a teenager, all the while he stayed by his mother’s side and helped other,s from bullied children to the sad adults, with his miraculous wishing “quirk” and performing many feats of magic.
We continue to watch through Izuku’s childhood up until we reach his teenage years as time slows to a normal speed, and we then overlook a sunny summer morning in Musatafu and the start of the school day in Aldera Junior High.
Inside the school, our view weaved passed through student and faculty alike but despite many of them possessing unique, odd, and rather fantastical quirks, be it mutations like animal heads or winged backs to controlling parts of their body like elongated necks or fingers there was a certain gray bleakness to the atmosphere as if every single soul of the school is seemingly dead and black as their uniforms.
We are brought to focus on a shy girl, a first-year student.
She was short, spouty, a tad bit on the chubby side, and wore glasses,s but it was undeniable she had certain prettiness to her; she was most unusual for her quirk, a mutation that grew her copper blonde hair to fantastic yet inconceivable lengths as well as the ability to control it.
“Hey, Repulsezall~” a mean girl mockingly called.
The poor girl let out an exasperated yet pained whimper.
“Uhm…it’s Hana…” the girl corrected me softly as she turned around to see her three main tormentors, the popular girls, nicknamed the Kissettes.
They were Kairi, a gorgeous girl with short raven hair and possessed the quirk to control animals and was a beauty product influencer, and there was Kaori, the stunning and more mature looking of the Kissettes with glossy pink lips and long curly red hair who was the lead of the track team and possessed a quirk to make almost anyone who was attracted to her to sleep, and lastly Kohaku, the most beautiful, intelligent, and petty of the trio with wavy platinum blonde hair and possessed a quirk that allowed her to sing to anyway t do what she says and just happened to be the winner of every singing pageant since her first year.
“No…” Kairi began.
“So…” Kaori continued.
“Fetch~” Kohaku finished.
Poor Hana backed up to her locker as the three girls began to encroach on her.
“Ooh…Aldera Junior High…now this isn’t what some might call a nurturing place for young talent, far from it, but rather an ego boost for those that the faculty found as exceptional students with exceptional quirks and a future in the world of heroes suchh to apparent irony.
One of these exceptional students was Katsuki Bakugou, the so-called big fish of the small pond, who was not only the top-rated in intellect, physicality, and “hero material,” but also the apparent favorite boy for the faculty and popular kids liked to lick.
He was a red-eyed, proud, egomaniacal jerkwad that would blow up anyone to smithereens just for the kicks of it, and everyone loved to hate him behind his back just as long as he was not in earshot.”
The double doors burst open from a fiery explosion in which Katsuki made his appearance alongside his lackeys.
Almost every one of the male students and teachers either gave him a forced smile while their ankles shook in place.
The smu, g-spiked hair blonde, passed the lockers with the debonair of ahotshott biker.
“Girls~” Katsuki said, giving a cocky smile at Hana and the Kissettes.
“Hey Katsuki~” All three of the Kissettes greeted each other, fawning.
Hana, intimidated, soon controlled her long hair to wrap it around her to hide her face.
Katsuki merely scoffed at Hana as he and his "friends” walked past her.
“Ah, yes, Katsuki was what you say the king of the castle, undisputed, praised, found, over his strength, looks, and quirk… well,l almost undisputed, he has to face off the prince first~”
Just as the explosive blonde was about to enjoy his “Hero” worship, the double doors he just blew opened, burst open again, except not from an explosion but a sudden gust of glittering golden dust.
Hana noticed this and slightly loosened her hair around her to take a better look at the new arrival.
The Kissettes stopped their fawning over Katsuki as they all gaspedatn the dashing boy who walked through those doors.
A recently transferred student from the middle school 20 blocks over, the new kid, the boy next door, and just so happened to be Katsuki’s childhood friend back from preschool, Izuku Midoriya.
He cut a dashing figure; tall, lean yet well-fit, cute, hot, strong, with an irresistible smile that sparkled, a cute moppy curled, snowy white hair that glowed a golden hue, and overall charming.
Right as he entered and began to walk through the hall, every single girl squealed in delight.
“KYA!”
…as well as some of the boys, too.
“Hey there, Kats~” Izuku nonchalantly greeted Katsuki, whose eyes twitched.
“Glitterbomb…” Katsuki grumbled as he seethed as he saw Izuku steal his thunder, all the while he heard an upbeat pop beat strumming up.
“Oh, don’t tell me…” He began with a groan.
“3…2…1…” the winged Lackey counted down as he, Katuski, and the rest of the students and faculty witnessed the three popular girls shimmy their hips and shoulders before they began to sing, all the while poor Hana looked on with a blushed face as her eyes followed Izuku.
[Kairi] ♬They call me a damsel in distress,
Cause’ I won my prize~♬
[Kaori] ♬The one with the magic,
And the big green eyes!\~♬
[Kohaku] ♬The one with a voice that can moonlight music~♬
[All Three] ♬And my on my
Does he know how to use it!♬
[All Three] ♬Whoa!
We’re not playing with ya~♬
Izuku playfully danced through the halls obliviously to the context of the song before summoning a huge gust of glowing golden stardust to raise up a girl who was distracted by him to avoid a nearby spilled water.
[Kairi] ♬He looks to ya eyes,
Knows how to say to ya~♬
The star boy then gave his iconic smile at the girl, making her and the rest of the female students fawn over him harder.
“Kya!”
“Gah!”
Awe!”
[All Three] ♬Woah-ah-ah!♬
[Kaori] ♬He’s so beautiful,
That’s the consensus~♬
[All Three] ♬Bet with those crown jewels
I will be his princess!♬
[All Three] ♬I like him for his smile
I like for his hair
I like him for his style
I like him cause his so debonair~♬
The Kissettes continued to follow Izuku as they sang, which made him cheekily smile and wink at them, causing the mean girls to all blush deeply.
[Kairi] ♬He’s my trophy boy~♬
[Kaori] ♬My trophy boy~♬
[Kohaku] ♬My Trophy boy~♬
As the rest of the students and faculty (mostly males) tried to continue with their day, it was nearly impossible to do so as almost every female of the school, student or teacher,r continued to hound and flock towards Izuku, much to his bashful embarrassment.
[All Three] ♬ I want him for myself!
I wanna lock him down!
I want them lips so he can kiss away my frown
He’s my trophy boy, my trophy boy, my trophy boy~♬
As the school day went on, Izuku found himself studying in the library, where he couldn’t help but notice the flock of first and second years giggling and gushing over him, much to the jealousy of their boyfriend who were staring daggers at him, which caused him to let out an awkward laugh whilst tugging the collar of his shirt.
He continues to mind his own business before he spots a lone student with a cat anthropomorph mutant quirk attempting to reach for one of the books on the very top shelf, standing on a mound of books as a makeshift step ladder.
The unbalanced Jenga tower of books wobbled before giving out and collapsing.
[Kairi] ♬He’s so delicious
So totally runway~♬
[Kaori] ♬And I know I wasn’t listening
But he’s totally funny~♬
[Kohaku] ♬And I don't even care
If he ever makes a sound!♬
[All Three] ♬Just as long when he sees me
He’s around
And he’s bound to me!♬
The starboy quickly jumped into action, zipping to the rescue, leaving a him-shaped cloud of gold stardust and catching the catgirl with her arms and consequently bridal carried her to safety.
Right as Izuku set her down, he heard a huge squeal from the crowd of fangirls, which made him let go with an exasperated sigh.
[Kohaku] ♬He’s like a glass slipper~
Fits me so well and such a good tipper~♬
[All Three] ♬Oh oh oh~♬
Later at the gym, Kohaku gushed as she sang, showing off photos from her date with Izuku on the night of her birthday to the rest of the Kissettes and female students.
[All Three] ♬You can sing along if you like
For we know boy who looks tough in tights~♬
The Kissettes sang as they dramatically called upon a spotlight to present to the rest of the girls Izuku in his gym shorts, which caused some to get little nosebleeds.
[All Three] ♬I like him for his smile
I like for his hair
I like him for his style
I like him cause his so debonair~
He’s my trophy boy, my trophy boy , my trophy boy~♬
[All Three] ♬ I want him for myself!
I wanna lock him down!
I want them lips so he can kiss away my frown~♬
Kairi then snapped her fingers for the spotlight to shine upon a Greek-style marble bust of Izuku upon the pedestal where the Kissettes surrounded it alongside the rest of the girls, much to the annoyance of many of the boys present in the gym and the jealousy of Katsuki, who saw bloody murder as he changed his attention to an oblivious Izuku.
[Kairi] ♬He’s my trophy boy~♬
[Kaori] ♬My trophy boy~♬
[Kohaku] ♬My Trophy boy~♬
Kaori then snaps her fingers for the spotlight to focus on her, and dimming it a little while the tempo of the song goes from upbeat and poppy to soft and emotional.
[Kairi] ♬And not just about his looks~
He has a sensitive side~♬
Kairi sang, twirling her hair, cradling her starberry-pink blushed cheeks with her hands whilst staring dreamingly at Izuku.
[All Three] ♬He has the soul of a poet if you give it the time~
And he's a perfect gentleman, class and etiquette~
Oh, who am I kidding, he just got such excellent abs~ ♬
Upon the drop of the beat as they sang the last verse, the spotlightbrightenedn and shone on a tired-out Izuku just as he removed his shirt to reveal his sweat-glistened abs and muscles of his Adonis figure, which caused the room to almost flood with blood from the noses of the Kissettes, the girls, and even the female students.
As the boys continued to seethe in jealousy, they were then approached by a cocky Kohaku.
[Kohaku] ♬You can’t compete with that fellas~ (such class!)
I’ll make the whole country jealous~ (oh man!)
I just forget my manners~
Hello, I’m Kohaku I need a wedding planner~♬
“Grr!” the boys growled as the Kissettes continued with their song
[All Three] ♬I like him for his smile
I like for his hair
I like him for his style
I like him cause his so debonair~
He’s my trophy boy, my trophy boy , my trophy boy~♬
Later, when Izuku was walking to his last class of the day, he found himself surrounded by the wild, screaming, crazed, and love-struck girls of the school, which made the poor starboy try to escape.
[All Three] ♬ I want him for myself!
I wanna lock him down!
I want them lips so he can kiss away my frown
He’s my trophy boy, my trophy boy, my trophy boy~♬
Ascending to the air, he flew across the halls as the sea of girls gave chase, only for him to be stopped by a couple of the jealous male students who happened to have winged or flying quirks.
[All Three] ♬Oh oh, oh my Gosh
Oh, My Fairy Godmother
Won’t you call this boy’s mama
And tell her that I love her!♬
[Kohaku]Yeahea!♬
They tried to jump him only for them to be humiliated as Izuku zipped and wooshed around them with incredible speed before diving through an open window to the courtyard, but as he was fixing himself from his landing, he then saw he was cornered by both his fangirls and their jealous boyfriends.
[All Three] ♬I like him for his smile
I like for his hair
I like him for his style
I like him cause his so debonair~
He’s my trophy boy, my trophy boy , my trophy boy~♬
As Izuku looked around him to see how he could escape, long flowing raven hair was let down by the window to his last class.
[All Three] ♬ I want him for myself!
I wanna lock him down!
I want them lips to he can kiss away my frown
He’s my trophy boy, my trophy boy, my trophy boy~♬
Giving both his rivals and admirers a playful salute, he climbed onto the hair, which began to ascend and lead him to the safety of the classroom.
[Kiari] ♬My trophy boy,yeaha!♬
Upon entering through the window, the starboy was met with an excited Hana, the owner of the long hair.
“Thanks~” Izuku said to the shy girl before taking her hand up and kissing it, causing Hana to let out a fangirling squeal as she then fainted, only to be caught by Izuku and gently whisked to her seat.
“Ah, yes, everyone loved Izuku if you weren’t a certain blonde or a jealous lover, of course, but surprisingly, besides admirers and fangirls, Izuku never had a true friend in that school if you don’t count Katsuki, but is more of a one-sided rivalry with our starboy,b ut the he had one, his homeroom teacher, Mr Inmazuki.
“Ahem!” a gruff voice cleared its throat.
Izuku looks behind him to see his teacher, Mr. Inmazuki, patiently tapping his foot upon the floor with a big, amused smile on his face.
“Yuto Inmazuki, a tall, lanky, gentleman with dirty blonde hair, gray dull eyes, a hooked nose, and an overall plain yet absurd appearance with a smile and glint in his eyes that hid harmless pettiness, humorous mischievousness, as well as the only Teacher who refused to adhere to the quirk bias of the faculty and the number two prankster to put Katsuki in his place next to his star pupil Izuku of course.
“Hehe…Sorry, sensei~” Izuku apologized as he took his seat by the window, next to Katsuk, who continued to give him the stink eye.
“Well, I have never seen that much excited pussy since my last visit to the cat cafe with catnip in my pocket.” Joked Inmazuki, garnering groans from the class, but Izuku, who held in an immature snicker.
“Come on, that was a good one!” Inmazuki complained before pointing at Izuk, you're holding back his laughter. “See, starboy knows it~.”
“He fucking laughs at every joke…” Grumbled Katsuki.
“Anyway, onto the big news…” Inmazuki went to business as he held up the stack of his class’s application papers. “Hahaha, whoam I'm kiddin’, all of you are going to UA!”
Inmazuku then tossed the papers into the air as everyone in the class began to showcase their wide range of quirks, except for Izuk,u who was quietly conjuring constructs of small animals from his stardust.
“Pfft Don’t get these losers’ hopes up, teach~” Katsuki scoffed as he made sparks from his hand.s “We all know that I’m the only one getting in!”
Mr. Inmazuki, however, smiled mischievously at his student’s boast as he called out the only one who could put the explosive brat in his place, “Oh, Izuku, it seems here you applied to UA too.~”
Katsuki froze as his eyes glanced at the starboy.
“Seriously!?”
“Glitterbomb!?
“That Twinkerbell!?”
“Oh, Izuku honey, please, you could ruin that face of yours!”
“Why not a stay-at-home hubby?”
“Hey back-off trampy. I saw him first!”
“Izuk,u you can't be serious…” began Katsuki’s winged lackey out of a genuine conceit.rn “No offense, that sparkle of yours is amazing, but what do you gotta gain from being a hero? You could magic all the shit you want and—”
“I care…” Izuku interrupted calmly, “I just care too much not to be one~.”
“Okay, quite down now…” Mr. Inmazuki ordered as he couldn't help but be amazed by his favorite student’s reason.
As the last period of the school day began, Katsuki continued to eye Izuku with disgust, utter humiliation, and pure jealousy.
He was insulted.
“Someone like fucking fairy boy being a hero!? Don’t make me laugh…and the audacity to apply at the same school as me!? This little candy ass twink! HE’LL PAY FOR THAT!” Katsuki thought as his gaze intensified, his hands curled into a fist, and produced sparks.
Izuku dreamingly looked on yonder through the window, a sense of wonder that flashed in his eyes as the sun further illuminated the golden rays that surrounded him.
[-Meanwhile-]
“Now, far from Izuku, another story was occurring, the story of his future love, who was now trying to find her mentor, the number one hero of Japan.”
In a secluded corner of a busy street, through the inner alleys, a teenage girl with chestnut-brown brunette hair styled in a short bob-cut, a rather cute and rounded face with pink cheeks, wearing pink sweat pants, a gray workout bra that revealed her rather lean yetmuscular forearmss and pronounced abs, and a workout headband, treaded carefully
“Sensei Toshi?” she called out in a hushed tone.
“This is Ochako Uraraka, a kind-hearted, humble, but overworked girl who wanted nothing more than to give the parents who gave her everything a comfortable life. Don’t let that soft and pudgy face fool you. She may look soft and cute, but she is fierce as a lioness, inquisitive as a panther, and determined as a tiger.
Despite this, the girl was quite welcoming and approachable, depending on the type of person you are, of course, and for someone who has a quirk that controls the gravity of any object she touches, she was quite down to earth…sorry I couldn’t help it, that joke was right there…”
“Sensei Toshi…come on you said that…” Ochako stopped before her face of worry drooped to a disappointed, deadpan glare as she finally spotted her mentor.
However, instead of the herculean figure of All Might seen in posters, PR, galas, and a few patrols, the man she sees was a skinny and skeletal man with sunken-in cold piercing blue eyes, disheveled blonde hair, and wearing an oversized shirt, and baggy green khaki pants.
Currentl,y the man was staring quite longingly at the cafe across the street, a quaint and welcoming establishment run by a bereaved woman and her son and above the main entrance was the cafe’s name: Loving Wishes.
Soon, the bells of the cafe’s door jingled, which caused the number one hero to clutch on his chest as the owner of the humble establishment walked through the door to post up a chalkboard sign for the special of the day, Inko Midoriya, looking as fair and beautiful as ever.
Toshinori felt his heart skip a beat as his face grew flushed in a bright pink upon seeing a smile grace Inko’s face.
Ochako rolled her eyes as she then crept behind the blonde man before bonking him on the head.
“Youch!” Toshinori yelped before crashing down to the hard asphalt ground.
He grumbles angrily before looking up to see the smug face of his successor which softened his expression to that of embarrassment “Oh young Uraraka!” He exclaimed as he picked himself up and dusted off the dirt and grim from his baggy clothes as he then stammered “Look I was just–ju–juh–jah– hehehe uhm…just contemplating lunch…”
The brunette cocked her brow “Sure and you totally weren’t perving on that cafe owner again.”
Toshinori was taken aback by his young pupil’s sarcastic comment “It isn’t perving! I was merely admiring beauty from afar! Completely different—” He froze upon realizing he just outed himself as he gave a stink eye at Ochako who was stifling a snicker.
“Oh honestly Sensei it’s getting a tad bit old,” Ochako said in amused exasperation “You have been crushing on that poor woman for weeks like a love-struck puppy, when will you confess to her already?”
The aged hero let out a defeated sigh “It is far more complicated than that and I hardly think this is something you should be prying on. You don’t see me sticking my nose on your love life.”
“You mean lack there of~” Ochako corrected with a prideful scoff “I’m far too busy as to be part of a shaky teen romance and as you said—”
Toshinori rolled his eyes as he said with Ochako in unison “Hero rule #25: There’s only room for love in a hero or heroine's life once the job is surely done.”
“By the heavens it was a mistake teaching you those rules,” Toshinori remarked as Ochako giggled.
“Well a good thing too is that my job here is almost done,” Toshinori remarked.
“And what do you mean by that?” Ochako playfully inquired.
Toshinori gave a soft look to the girl “Look…you know when the time of the entrance exam comes you have to take it…”
The brunette shook her head “Oh no! Not this again!”
“Young Uraraka, One for all–” Toshinori tried to reason with the girl only for her to interrupt him.
“I’m done taking handouts!” Ochako snapped before composing herself “Look, I only agreed to be trained by you cause you could push me beyond my limits, to build me up to brave everything this world has to offer, to go the distance.”
“Yes and you did…” Toshinori said almost in a fatherly tone “Which is why I think after everything I have put you through my training, you should be the one to carry on not only my torch but your father’s."
Ochako's eyes widened upon hearing those words before turning her back to the symbol of peace.
Toshinori placed his hand on her “Look no training today, go home, use the time to think it through and if you were anything like your old man I know you would pick the right choice.”
The brunette breathed heavily as she saw Toshinori transform into his buff form and leap to the rooftops, leaving a gust of wind.
[-Later-]
It was around mid-day as we found our young heroine upon the entrance of her home, a small, humble, and old bungalow stuck in between two huge apartment complexes.
“Hey there, Chako!” an elderly gentleman greeted the brunette, catching her attention.
“Oh hello Mr. Egashira,” She greeted back “How’s your visit to Mrs. Egashira?”
“Augh! Terrible! Those cold shouldered bastard at the retirement home has my sweet Akemi in the tiniest room,” Mr. Egashira replied with venom in his voice “One of these days I’m gonna bust her out of that gray hell and we’ll be dying in each other's arms on a blanket under a starry night.”
“Hmm how romantic~” Ochako cooed “Well best of luck to ya!”
”Bah! Luck! Who needs it?! See ya around Trooper!” Egashira saluted as he quickly got inside the apartment complex.
Ochako saluted back before her face fell as she turned to the door of her home and then twisted the knob.
As the door the creeked open she was met with the silent yet nostalgic short hallway leading to the living room.
Right as she was about to put away her sneakers, she bumped her head against the wall making one of the photo crooked.
The picture of her father, a stoic, handsome, and rather bull of a man with dirty brown blonde hair wearing a formal police uniform.
Rising from the floor, Ochako couldn't help but smile to see her father in uniform before kissing her middle and index fingers and placing them upon the framed photo.
“Ease now Captain…” Ochako said softly “Your little trooper is almost there~”
“But not ready for lunch with her mother,” a woman's voice feigned scorn which grew Ochako’s smile wider as she turned to see her mother with playful grin and her arms crossed whisky holding a wooden spoon.
“Awe Ma~” Ochako said bashfully as her mother brought her in a warm hug.
“What on Earth happened!” Lori asked her daughter “Did Uncle Yagi do something again cause if I have to—”
“No no no it's nothing, Ma…” Ochako reassures “It’s just…well he brought it up again…”
Lori broke away from the hug as her face softened and became teary-eyed “Oh Ochako…”
“Look…Ma…” Ochako began “He asked me to think it over and…”
“Shhh~” Lori quickly yet gently hushed her daughter as she then grabbed Ochako’s hand and guided her to the couch before sitting both down.
“Ma—” Ochako tried to speak only to be interrupted.
“Ochako…please…you’ve earned it…” Lori said pleadingly “Never once was there ever a clear window opportunity to achieve your dreams and I just can’t bear seeing you close it…”
“But I’m tired of getting handouts, Ma…” Ochako countered “…You and daddy had always given me everything…please let me do something for you and let me do it my way.”
“Then make One For All your own…” Lori urged as she gently caressed her daughter’s hair “Your father and I had always dreamt you would go striking out alone, free, unthreatened from this life…”
Ochako wanted to argue back; she couldn't help feeling moved by her mother's words.
“Ochako…your father might not be around anymore but he would agree with me that you have earned this so please accept it, make it your own, use it for your dream, you’ve done enough for this family…” Lori encouraged her, “Perhaps maybe do the same for your own family once you have your happily ever after~”
Ochako softly gazed upon her mother as she squeezed her hands tight, sighing.
“Alright then I accept One For All,” Ochako conceded which made her mother squeal in delight before letting go of her hands and taking her in for a tight hug “But I won't date!”
“Awe why not?” Lori whined playfully “All I want is my princess to get herself a prince charming~”
Ochako rolled her eyes while giving her mother a coy smile as a jazzy showtime tune started to play, “Mama I don't have time for boys or dancin’~”
Ochako started to sing as she stood up and gently broke away from her mother’s hug.
[Ochako] ♬That just has to wait a while~♬
She then walked away from the sofa before retrieving her apron from the kitchen.
[Ochako] ♬Ain't got time for messin' around,
And it's not my style♬
“I want some grandkids~” Lori pouted with playful demand with her hands on her hips.
Ochako chuckled as she then wore the apron much like a cape.
[Ochako] ♬This old town can slow you down,
People takin’ the easy way~♬
Ochako then opened the blinds of the window to show her mother the disparity of their neighborhood.
Lori's smile faded as she looked upon the gray and helpless atmosphere of their side of town only for her smile to reappear as Ochalo showed her a comic book panel from her art book depicting their neighborhood and the city of Musatafu rid of crime alongside herself in a stylish caped pink and blue hero costume.
[Ochako] ♬But I know exactly where I’m goin’,
I’m getting’ closer and closer every day!♬
Seemingly the photo and drawing came to life as it entered their world as everything suddenly turned into a sunny and whimsical world of a comic book with Ochako herself stylized as a comic book heroine in a stylish pink, blue, and white hero suit posing like All Might.
[Ochako] ♬And I’m almost there, I’m almost there
People down here think I’m crazy
But I don’t care♬
Ochako then zipped through her now lively and prosperous neighborhood, with pink lighting coursing through her body as she then took out a three-headed serpentine monster right as it was about to snap down its jaw in a baby in a stroller which garnered applause from the grateful citizens.
[Ochako] ♬Trails and tribulations, I had my share~
There ain't nothin’ gonna stop me now
‘Cause I’m almost there♬
Ochako then jumped and in the way of a car manned by armed robbers before using her quirk to make the vehicle float before realising it, making it crash down which made the cops smile and salute her.
[Ochako] ♬I remember daddy told,
“Fairy tales don’t come true,
You gotta make ‘em happen,
It all depends on you~♬
Ochako then stopped to salute a golden statue of her dad in uniform before jumping into action upon seeing a cartoony burglar attempt to set off a bomb.
[Ochako] ♬So I work real hard each and every day,
Now things for sure are goin’ my way,
Just doin’ what I do,
Look out boys, I’m coming through♬
As Ochako continued to sing she found herself at the grounds of U.A. Hero Academy itself before entering through the gates, going through tests and training as she then dazzled everyone with her quirk and dedication to hero work.
Ochako held her head high as she then walked down a grand staircase as heroes and policemen alike saluted her
[Ochako] ♬And I’m almost there, I’m almost there
People gonna know me from everywhere
And I’m almost there
I’m almost there~♬
Ochako then jumped to an adoring crowd of fans who carried her to a lone table of her mother as she was given her hero costume.
[Ochako] ♬There’s been trials and tribulations
You know I’ve had my share♬
Slowly as her song continued and approached her mother the colorful comic booky world faded away and reverted back to real life before closing in on the mother and daughter as they embraced.
[Ochako]♬But I’ve climbed a mountain, crossed the river
And I’m almost there
I’m almost there
I’m almost there!♬
Ochako held the high note as she and her mother began to fix up the dining table for lunch til they both sat down across from each other.
The two women raised their glasses and toasted as the song ended.
“Ah! Now the stage is set, our heroes are set for their journey be it for love, honor—wait…hold on…what’s this?”
Our view changes from the homely Uraraka household towards a deep crevice where flashes of green & purple sparks illuminate a tall, dark, and grim figure hidden by the darkness.
A thin and almost skeletal hand with sickly pale skin with scars grabbed hold of a white king from a chessboard before coursing green and purple lightning through his hand to make the king shatter.
“Hope you’re newest champion is ready Brother dearest~” The figure said as he flashed his jagged sharp blade-like teeth.
“Oh well to be continued in the next chapter~”
