Arthur and Merlin were just going on a hunting trip. It was meant to be a nice, easy trip through the woods around Camelot. It ended with them being chased by an unknown monster into an unknown cave, stepping out into an unknown world. Maybe the weird bard and the magic monster hunter they found in the woods could help?
Jaskier and Geralt were on their way north for the winter—Jaskier to Oxenfurt, Geralt to Kaer Morhen. But they were still a ways away when two odd men claiming to be from a place called “Camelot” stumbled into them. Geralt immediately learned Merlin has magic, and Jaskier could see the chemistry between the pair from a mile away.
Arthur wanted to get back to Camelot.
Merlin wanted to get back to Camelot, and stay alive while his magic seemed intent on acting bizarre.
Geralt wanted to travel with Jaskier.
Jaskier wanted to travel with Geralt, and get those two idiots to confess everything.It took some time, but they all got what they wanted. More or less.

Its the year 20## and Merlin had a little fun in his life, he owns a multimillion company and was touring Asia (again) when his magic is suddenly fairing up and he feel the urgent need to be home. He cancels everything and take his jet to the closest air port to his home over looking acers of land and of course his beloved Avalon Lake, where he 1 day will be reunited with the man he loves more than himself.
A massive modern mansion and all his pets a wait him, but something or someone else is await him when he returns, and they? are just as confused. -

When Merlin's magic is exposed shortly before season 2 starts, the path of destiny starts changing forever. Now on the run with Arthur, Morgana, and Gwen. Merlin hopes to convince Arthur that magic is totally good instead of him and Morgana just being an exception. Morgana, meanwhile, hopes to convince him to usurp his father. As allies are gathered and Arthur realizes the injustice in his kingdom, it looks more and more like he will have to act in a drastic way. A way he dreads.
Meanwhile, Arthur and Merlin are growing closer and closer and might just have feelings for each other. Something they probably should be better about realizing, considering the example of Gwen and Morgana right next to them.
In a land of myth and a time of magic, the destiny of a great kingdom now rests on the shoulders of four, their names: Merlin, Arthur, Guinevere, and Morgana

I keep getting asked about the pairings, so I'll clear it up 😆 This is more of a canon continuation, so it will be Arthur/Gwen. BUT there will be subtle hits of merthur along the way. As for Merlin&Morgana, it's more of a friendship (Morgana redemption arc). And Percival/Gwaine is self-explanatory I feel. 😃

Suddenly the doors opened and a haggard-looking Gaius was dragged in next to Merlin and brought to his knees. He was in front of Merlin, though the warlock could still see his face from where he stood.
Gaius started chanting, his eyes glowing, Merlin felt sharp pain from where Gaius’ fingers met his skin; he cried out.
Uther had to put an arm out to keep Arthur in place as light erupted from where they’d been staring. Eyes were averted as the bright beam engulfed Merlin’s frame. When the light faded, Merlin hit the ground with a thud. -
