This is my first fic ever and english is not my first language so expect a few mistakes in spelling. This was created only because I might die soon and I wanted to share the dreams I had of this AU. The characters don't behave like in the series. LITERALLY, and i didn't wanted to spoil anything in the tags. You read at your own risk. I have no idea of how i'll introduce new characters so pls be patient. Also don't pay attention to the number of chapters because one chapter will have, for example, 2 sentences and another 50.
In case I'll die before I finish this my sister will write whatever I have in real life written on paper. In an even worse case scenario (in which I won't finish this on paper cus I'm ded) she will finish this story, with her own idea.

Anya may have died on the Tulpar, but a guilty Jimmy tucked as much of her body as would fit into the cryostasis pod alongside a mutilated Curly, delusional and guilty and hoping she might be buried properly. Twenty years later, she wakes up in a hospital to find that she's been revived from her dead brain, stuck into a cultured clone body - a technology that didn't even exist when she took her own life. She's not exactly happy about it. In some ways, her resurrection is the ultimate violation; Jimmy has taken from her even the sole sanctity of Death, has stolen her final rebellion. But there's a silver lining: Jimmy is dead, there's no more Pony Express, and despite the festering hate in her heart towards him, Curly is still her friend and still there to keep her company. Giving up now would be wasting the opportunity to carry on out of spite.
In the end, after all, life goes like this: Sometimes you grit your teeth and crawl. Sometimes you come out the other side feeling more alive than you realized you were capable of.
(No explicit or present-tense sexual violence, but this story deals heavily with Anya's past. Viewers be warned.)
