Kyojuro stays silent for barely a moment. It’s so brief that anyone could miss it, but you notice the change. The excitement still shines in his expression, although now it’s mixed with something softer.
"Then you’ve come to the right place," he replies with a smile that, for the first time, doesn’t seem only cheerful, but also warm. "Silence is no match for me."

It unsettles him the more it happens.Eventually, the shadows grew sharper, more solid. It vaguely looks like a human shaped shadow, it’s everywhere he goes. The supermarket, the park, even the station. Over time it grew even clearer and took on features of people, people he didn’t know and never met before. They seem to stare at him, with those empty eyes of theirs.
Buck doesn’t know what to do, so he decides to pretend that it was all a hallucination, brought on by stress. But hallucination can’t knock down books from the table, can’t leave hand shaped marks on his windows. Hallucination also doesn’t leave him cold to the bone when it passes through him. -
