— Não tem nada para contar — Arthur falou rápido demais, como se quisesse encerrar o assunto antes que ele ganhasse peso. — Ele estava completamente normal em um segundo, no outro estava grunhindo de dor, com os olhos… — fez um gesto vago com a mão, incapaz de concluir. Dar forma àquilo tornaria real, e ele não tinha certeza se conseguiria suportar. Que diferença fazia agora? Ele está morto, sussurrou uma parte cruel de sua mente. — Então os olhos dele se reviraram e ele… desmaiou.
