Arthur parried cleanly, adrenaline sharpening everything.
He grinned.
This was not indulgence.
This was not courtesy.
She was fighting him.
“I watch the spars,” Freya said quietly as their blades scraped. “Yours.”
Arthur blinked.
It was the smallest mistake.
The smallest distraction.
She took it.
