As Lucifer sat in his empty palace he felt… bored. So it's time to play pretend with the sinners!
Overlords were still weak right?
As Lucifer decided how he should look as a sinner his thoughts were a goat because what could be more iconic than that!
So lucifer shaped his body to match a goat and he curled his horns placing them on the side of his head and showing off his actual legs other than hiding them in his thigh high boots like he normally did, with a body the same height as his own and moulding his nose to be that of a small black nose and making his ears fluffy as a treat to himself because what's better than normal ears? FLUFFY ears! That's what.
Choosing his name was easy for nobody in hell knew his angel name to be Samuel other than the sins and his ex-wife… dad did Lucifer miss Lillith but the divorce was needed for both her and Charlie's sake.
Lucifer left the palace and made his way though his kingdom he watched as sinners mamed each other and committed sins right before his eyes Lucifer wondered if giving them free will was the right choice would these souls be in heaven happy if it weren't for Lucifer releasing the knowledge of good and evil upon the world?
Caught in his thoughts Lucifer had walked right into a sinner!
“Ah apologies” Lucifer spoke and looked at the sinner.
“No need, young one for it was a mistake.” The Green and Black sinner spoke
“My name is Zestial and you?” Zestial asked
“Lu- uh Samuel, if I may, would you know where the overlords meet?” Questioned Lucifer beating himself up for the slip up.
“Ah well us overlords are about to attend a meeting tomorrow Samuel, why do you inquire?” Zestial looked at Lucifer with a questioning gaze.
“For I am a new Overlord!” Declared Lucifer
Zestial looked surprised at this statement and really looked at Lucifer as if picking the monarch apart with his eyes, “are you now? Well if I may introduce you to my friend she shall help assess if you are telling thy truth.” Zestial grabbed Lucifer by the hand and guided him towards a tall building and entered an elevator with Lucifer by his side.
As the two beings ascended the elevator came to a halt and an office was behind the doors. Sitting at the desk was a very tall lady with long white hair.
“Zestial my friend” smiled the woman then her gaze fell to Lucifer and she frowned “and a guest?”
“Carmilla one has picked up a sinner claiming to be a newer Overlord and one must know if it is true for this one feels brimming with power” Zestial spoke with vigor and brought lucifer towards carmilla “one must get a second opinion for thou are most known for identifying power.” Zestial continued
As Lucifer was shocked at the current situation he walked closer to the woman and let her place her hand on Lucifer's neck, this action confused Lucifer but as he went to speak she looked in Lucifer's eyes and asked “how many souls do you own?”
Shit Lucifer hadn't thought this far “uh well how many do you have!” Lucifer demanded of the sinner In front of him
Taken aback carmilla took away her hand and laughed at the abrasiveness of the man and responded “3100 are mine under contract”
That was not as many as Lucifer thought, she was an overlord? Isn't the required amount like a quarter of a million? It was back when earth was going through the rat plague thing.
“Well I have 1700 souls!” Lucifer hoped he was in the right range.
“I see, and are any hell born?” Asked Carmel wait no carmilla
“Uh no because we sinners are not able to with hellborn as they have no souls?” Responded Lucifer but he wasn't sure man he needed to get out more.
“Samuel is one's name my dear carmine, if I may, thy new Overlord should attend tomorrow's meeting to witness how we manage each other correct?” Zestial spoke
“Ah yes I guess so, Samuel you will need to be present here tomorrow morning at 7:30 meet with Zestial outside he will show you the way.” Carmilla decided and had looked at Zestial
As she looked at him Lucifer wondered if that meant he was free to go and also looked at the very tall sinner.
Zestial had once again grabbed Lucifer by his hand and gently guided him out of the building so Lucifer guessed the interaction was over.
After leaving the building Lucifer had removed his hand “Zestial sir if I may, would you happen to know the whereabouts of the hotel run by the princess?” Lucifer asked in hope of seeing his daughter
“Indeed, the hotel is just up on the hill you can see the building over the horizon, but one must ask as to why?” Zestial questioned
“Ah we-well I was wondering if I should pay her a visit as I know her?” Lucifer muttered hoping his random bulshit would work as he was the King of lies surely it would work!
Zestial nodded “one see, the one supposes one shall see you tomorrow Samuel” and had faded into the Ally.
That was weird.
