‘Alright, he just had to rip the bandaid off, no point in dragging it out. Turning his eyes to his shoes, he sucked in a deep breath.
“I’m planning to propose. To Alastor.” Stunned silence. He looked up at the clattering sound that broke it as Rosie dropped one of the cups on the counter and turned towards him, hands over her mouth. His barely contained nervousness washed over him again at her reaction and his claws came up to fiddle with his tie on their own, eyebrows knitted together.
“Fuck, d’ya think it’s a bad idea?”’
Proposing to someone is a whole lot harder than it seems, that is something Vox learns pretty quickly. But damn it, he would get that ring on Alastor’s finger somehow, even if his nerves probably wouldn’t survive it.
