Summary
Hongjoong, a cowboy who’s earned a grand reputation along with his gang of cowboys, who all became a household name amongst the people of their hometown while they'd been out doing good during their travels. Upon returning after a two-year absence, they discover that the town has been plagued by disappearances and a strange sickness over the past few months. The town is a large, well-populated one considering its spot between forest and river, but it's close-knit enough that everyone knows everyone, so Hongjoong's gang returns to the place they were raised in distress, with some friends missing entirely.
Seonghwa, a vampire over 2 centuries old who resides in a villa hidden deep in the forest. Due to an incident in the first decade of his residency 170 years ago that nearly left the old town barren... he's been travelling elsewhere for a while, on a collector's voyage of sorts. He returned home a few months ago with a collection of trinkets from many corners of the globe—homesickness festering an ache within his chest.
What happens when the town’s dilemma draws them to each other, resulting in them learning things they wouldn't have expected, and gaining from each other something they probably shouldn't.
