Work Text:
Bruce and all his kids went to the Kent farm for a break. Well, all his kids but Jason, as he stated that someone needed to stay and make sure that Gotham doesn’t burn down.
But imagine Bruce’s shock when he gets home, Clark came with them to stay a few days, and he gets a text from Jason that just said he and Percy are fostering a kid.
The conversation was short, and Jason shut down Bruce digging for information aside from their name, and pronouns.
Finally, Bruce asked if Jason, Percy and Alex wanted to come and meet everyone.
It took Jason a few more minutes to respond, but eventually agreed to meet the next day.
It also gave Bruce a reason to give his gift to Jason. Though he felt bad that he couldn’t find anything for Percy, Jason had told him that he will give out gifts, but he doesn’t really celebrate Christmas or any holidays and he’s ok with nothing. Bruce sighed when he heard that but agreed, not knowing enough about the man to get him anything.
He wished that he knew that Percy and Jason were also adopting a kid so that Bruce could get them a gift, but he would work with what he got.
The next day, Jason, Percy and Alex all arrived at Wayne Manor, Alex was dressed in more baggy clothes and was looking around nervously and stuck close to Percy.
Percy himself had a few small bags in his hands and Jason had a few more. It seems that they had the same idea.
Everyone was already in the sitting room by the time the little family walked in. The room was full of laughter, Bruce watching with a small smile, sitting beside Clark.
Alex was quiet, only really talking with Percy and Jason, but stuck with Percy.
They ended up giving out a few of the last gifts, a Percy handing out their gifts as Bruce handed Jason his gift.
Percy, Jason and Alex got everyone a little ornament, mainly relating to their vigilante names, but not direct hits, it was also easy to tell that they were home made.
In return, Bruce had gotten Jason an original copy of pride and prejudice, which made him smile, it was a nice little Christmas gift giving.
