The beasts sat at the table, waiting on Dark enchantress cookie to enter the room to tell them why they were summoned here, Buring spice cookie was impatient, bored out of his mind, tempted to just destroy this room and everyone in it, Eternal Sugar cookie was just giggling, probably thinking thoughts of Hollyberry cookie, Mystic Flour cookie didn't seem to care about what the others were doing, meanwhile Shadow Milk cookie was waiting patiently, exited to hear Dark enchantress cookies new plan
Suddenly the door opened as Dark enchantress cookie walked in the room, as she walked to her throne the beast noticed something off about her, she seemed more stressed, crazier, something that set Burning Spice cookie off. Once Dark Enchantress cookie sat down she cleared her throat, getting their attention
"It has come to my attention that the ultimate cookies production will take longer than we planned, risking the chances of us being caught becoming higher"
Dark Enchantress cookies started, her voice having a slight anger to it. Shadow milk cookie got bored instantly since he already knew this, until Dark Enchantress cookie spoke up again, sounding more serious
"And because of that, we risk having these cookies from finding and ratting us out" Dark Enchantress cookie finished, using her staff to create five silhouettes of cookies.
three of the four beasts were confused since 4 of the silhouettes looked like children, but Shadow Milk cookie slammed his hands on the table, recognizing three of the silhouettes as the cookies that somehow survived falling from the spire
"Don't remind me of them! they ruined everything for me!"
"Wait... are you saying a group of children were the reason you failed to get you're souljam back?"
Buring Spice cookie laughed at the thought of children thwarting Shadow Milk cookie's plans, while Shadow milk just growled at the other beast. Eternal sugar cookie frowned, worried they were going to hurt the children
"Don't tell me we're going to kill them. their lives must be so rough, just let them stay in my garden and we won't have an issue, and they'll be happy forever"
Dark enchantress cookie frowned in annoyance, trying to speak before mystic flour cookie rudely interrupted her without a care
"I say turn them to flour. Let apathy consume them"
She said, no anger, no sadness, no joy in her voice, just complete apathy. The beasts then started arguing on what to do to the children, slowly annoying Dark Enchantress cookie with every second the argument lasted.
"SILENCE?!"
Dark Enchantress cookie snapped, ending the beast's conflict between each other, silence filling the room cause of fear and respect for Her. Dark Enchantress cookie sighed, calming down before she spoke
"I have a different plan, a better one that will be... may I say... beneficial to all of us, if you're willing to hear me out"
Dark enchantress cookie said, gaining the beasts attention, all of them (besides Mystic Flour cookie) were all intrigued by the idea that the plan Dark Enchantress cookie had would be beneficial to all of them.
Suddenly a book was summoned into the room, right in the middle of the table, giving the beast's a chance to read it as Dark Enchantress cookie spoke
"I've been reading more about the souljam, learning how they work, what there made of, and what I'm focused on the most, how to create new one's..."
the beast cookie's looked at Dark Enchantress cookie in shock, looking like they thought she was crazy
"And HOW are you going to do that?"
Burning Spice cookie asked, suddenly very invested in what the half-baked cookie had to say, then his attention was drawn to the book by her. Dark Enchantress cookie having a malicious look on her face as she started to speak again
"It's quite simple my destructive friend, all I need is a shard of each of your souljams and use that to create a new pair and bind them to those children. in other... simpler words even you can understand, I'm recycling shards of your power source to make new ones for those annoying cookies"
Dark Enchantress cookie explained, hooking Burning spice cookie to this plan, while Shadow Milk cookie was skeptical of this plan
"Okay, but may I ask a question or two my witch want to be friend"
Dark Enchantress cookie was annoyed by What the deceitful cookie called her, but she let it slide this one time
"You may..."
"How will you make this plan work exactly? for one, our heroic knight left us, two, how exactly will you get that group to get close enough to us to bind them to these 'new souljams?', and three how will this benefit US?"
Shadow milk cookie asked, making valid points on the holes in Dark Enchantress cookies plans, something that made her slightly surprised by how calculated the jester's words were.
"We already have a plan to bring those brats here. Were already searching for Silent Salt cookie as we speak. And as for how this will be beneficial to each of you, think of this as you guys getting prodigies, heirs to your thrown if you will"
Dark Enchantress cookie explained, managing to get all of the beast's interest, including Mystic Flour cookie. they all looked at each other and nodded, all of them getting a single shard of their souljams and handing them to the dark one, making her smirk as she grabbed them, then looked at her allies
"I thank you for your cooperation, I trust you this will help all of us"
Dark Enchantress cookie said as she dismissed the beast cookies, only Burning Spice cookie and Shadow milk cookie staying behind
"You know~, if you need help finding our Knight you could always ask us~"
"Indeed! it seems clear he won't willingly help us, so maybe we can 'convince him' to help us~"
The two beasts said with a malicious laugh, something that Dark Enchantress cookie couldn't dyne, so she laughed with them before replying
"Go ahead you two, bring him, and his souljam back in one piece, If he won't willingly join us, then we can force him"
Burning Spice cookie left, Shadow milk cookie staying for just a little longer to ask one last question
"So... tell me if he really is on those retched half cookies side, that would mean that his souljam isn't fully corrupted, how will you make a villainous cookie with a souljam that still is pure~?"
Dark Enchantress cookie thought for a bit, thinking of a response that will satisfy the clown and his likings
"Well... since me and that... White Lily cookie are connected, that means that I'm as connected to Silent Salt cookies souljam as much as White Lily cookie is, so if I'm lucky, I might be able to taint the shard enough for it to be as corrupted as the ones we have it. Does that satisfy you?"
Shadow Milk cookie nodded, leaving the room which left the dark one alone, her smile faded into a frown
"Idiots..."
she mumbled in annoyance, pulling the book close to her and starting to read more into it, she never really planned to help the Beast cookies in any way, she just needed them since they were powerful, but she noticed a page before the meeting stating that the new souljams can get more powerful than the ones that were used to make them, and the thought of having more powerful allies then the beasts yet have them be equally as corrupted as them was something that she couldn't refuse. she used her magic on the shards as she started to give them shape now all she needed to do was wait for the power source to arive
