Summary
Catra transfers to Bright Moon University expecting a clean break, a temporary arrangement tied to Shadow Weaver’s new professorship, nothing more. She’s survived worse than a last-minute dorm assignment. What she hasn’t prepared for is opening her door on move-in day and finding Adora standing in the hallway, clipboard in hand, calm and confident and very much still Adora. They haven’t seen each other in years. Not since Adora left without saying goodbye. Not since Catra learned how to survive on her own. Now Adora is the RA for Catra’s floor, doing everything right, following rules, helping people settle in acting like the past isn’t standing between them. Catra and Adora navigate shared hallways, unfinished conversations, and the slow, complicated process of rebuilding trust. Learning the process of growing up, learning to stay, and realizing that some connections don’t disappear just because you leave them behind.
