Germany, 17th century (The Nutcracker and the Mouse King Universe);
A world where people live in fairytales. There was once a young man living with his family in Germany. As the weather cooled and the snow fell, he felt isolated. However, the Christmas spirit grew as the nights grow longer. The only thing to keep him company were the many gifts he received in the past years.
As the years went on, Eric Bittle was betrothed to Jack Zimmermann. He moved in with Jack, making their small cottage into a beautiful marital home. He looked forward to another Christmas season with his husband and the many things they'd created.
sugar kingdom, another world;
In a kingdom, farther away, Kent and Alexei sat before a fire. A quilt helped keep in the heat from the fire. They were content to just be along with each other.
"When do we set out for Jack and Bitty's?" Alexei asked.
"We need to prepare the food, firewood, and other things we need."
"We leave in a week. I have already gotten to the kitchen to prepare us some denser fare. I am sure we can send a message to the cottage to anticipate us." came the reply.
the living room, Jack and Bitty's cottage, the countryside;
One day, Jack and Bitty hosted Christmas. Shitty, Lardo, Alexei, Kent, Holster, and Ransom arrived with bags of presents.
"Kent! Welcome back"' Bitty beamed.
"Thank you for hosting us," the man beamed as they hugged each other. Then they sat down to tea and biscuits.
"Wait, you never told us how you both met?" Holster realized. Alexei and Kent looked at each other.
"That's a long story." Kent admitted.
"It's a story for the ages," Alexei chuckled as they went down memory lane.
