He seems a little shocked by the words, but quickly regains his composure
"I uhm..don't think I do have any, but I can heal!"
"We wouldn't need those, we can just be nice to the enemies we encounter, and SPARE them."
I look a little annoyed at It, but what can you do, really.
"I understand, but what if we were to encounter somebody..or something even, that we couldn't convince?"
"I'd be fine if you were just hiding a spell that you could do that would deal damage."
He looks concerned..
"Nope, I don't have anything like that, I'm sorry."
I would sigh, realizing this probably isn't efficent.
I've got an idea to get stronger anyways, I won't even need magic to do It.
"Alright, you can join, fine." He goes back to looking all happy-like, like a plushie or something.
"That's great, I'm sure we'll be great friends, Kris!"
"Oh, right, I forgot to say.."
"I think we should make a distinction between me and Kris, as you already know, t-"
Kris bites down hard closing their jaw, disorientating.
I stare at ralsei knowingly, I know he knows what I mean.
"Ah..you..uh.."
"I guess you would know that, huh?" "Okay, if you want me to, ANGEL.."
Kris does not seem happy about someone else knowing in the slightest, I hit them on the head twice to get them to let me talk, they refuse, so I motion ralsei to move and I SAVE.

I then move past him again, motioning him to follow me, Kris loosens their jaw once we get moving, the dummy is skipped.
I can tell by the way my body is reacting, Kris didn't like me doing that in the slightest, did they already get involved in the whole scheme, they couldn't have ALREADY, Kris seems scared of the dark world in chapter 1, maybe they just don't want people thinking they're crazy?
I move through the grand door, and save yet again.

"Ralsei."
"What do you want to speak about?"
"You know how darkners aren't real, right?"
"To make things go well with what we'll be up against, I don't think you should think about it too hard."
He seems..messed up from that, maybe I went a little too fast with what I knew, I can practically see his eyebags..
"Y-yes, you're right, they aren't."
"I don't think I-.understand what you mean by that last part.."
"You'll see, just listen to me."
I take a deep breath steadying myself, they aren't real, I tell myself. What you're going to do is alright, It'll be nothing at the end of the day. It feels so real, but you can't think of them like that.
Leading Ralsei forward we see the first rudinn, I take steps forward, preparing myself for It.
"Do what I'm going to tell you to, I have a plan."
He nods.
BATTLE ENGAGE
The surroundings shift slightly again, purple lines making the enemy easier to see, but the path still visible.
FIGHT, make Ralsei FIGHT, but I tell him to hold back.
Focus..focus...hit it at the right moment. It was off by a lot, strangely,

but as ralsei approached I was able to feel a sensation right before he struck, and I made him attack a little early to do less damage.

Diamond shaped bullets fly towards us, but I know that only me getting hit would matter,
It feels different this time as opposed to lancer, like my perception of the fight is getting changed by this world itself.
I see my heart, me, my SOUL. I just think of It, and It moves, a little hard to control,
I feel paper cutting into my skin as I mess up, making It hard to focus, but the attacks vanish. I look at It's HP through the FIGHT, less of a button, more of a thought. 23%, good, Kris's HP is at 63/90.
ACT I tell ralsei to hold the rudinn in place next turn, both of our turns are used up.
I try to focus, I know I need to get used to the pain, but..I get hit, It burns, my heartrate increases, I get hit again, why is It so different from the game, It does whatever I want It to, but the pain makes It hard to focus.

"O-ow.." "My head.."
"O-oh no, are you hurt?"
"I have a healing spell, if you need It!"
"I know, just hold the rudinn in place."
I get ready to FIGHT, and Ralsei's turn is used up, he clings to the rudinn, stopping It from moving.
"Don't let it move."
I take a deep breath, focusing on landing a critical hit. Imagine It, a bar going closer and closer, like you moving towards it. And when you're right there, STRIKE.
Yellow stars seem to shine from my sword as I hit It with killing intent.

The rudinn fades to red dust.

I feel my body getting stronger, the feeling is almost carthartic.

"Oh.." "Oh." It makes sense, I heard the music too.
I notice Ralsei's face, he seems to be affected heavily, he's sweating and he doesn't seem alright, some red dust is still on him.
"What..what did you DO to them?"
"I-I.." "It's..It's just a darkner."
"It's not real, you know that, It's just a card."
"This..wasn't meant to happen, you shouldn't have been able to-.."
"S-shouldn't we be..kinder from now on?"
"I can..tell you all about ACTs...."
He looks exactly like his chapter four expression. .maybe I shouldn't have..
"I know about them, Ralsei."
Kris is straining against me, but I resist, my body feels wrong even though It's not mine and and and
"We have to do this, It's needed."
"We have to..get stronger."
"I need to SAVE real quick.."
I walk over to the star, I'm filled with power, my body rejuvinates in the pure and holy light.

I made sure to save in a different file just incase I needed to go back, I breathe a sigh of relief.
"You'll need to get used to this."
"You should be able to do ACTs during your turn aswell, you can, I know that, so just do them."
"O-okay.."
A grim expression rests on his face, thoughts must be going through his mind, wait..
If I focus..I can hear whispers.."Not intended.." "the ANGEL.."
Oh god, hearing somebody thoughts is so weird agh what the hell oh my god stop that
I start walking forward, going past the place where the rudinn once was, a new one did not appear, I go through the path, not daring step off It.
I begin to see lancer standing next to a sign which says "(Hey, don't read this sign! It's a work in progress!) (SIGNED, LANCER)"
Gosh, he's so silly, maybe we shouldn't do all this..no, that's dumb, he's literally just a card, I've already seen all the dialogue he has to offer. I decide not to talk to him, talking to him would just be too weird..
I pick up two dark candies, and keep going forward.
"Hey, if you head that way my troops will thrash you."
"Is that a threat?"
"I perfer to think of It as an invitation."
I shouldn't think about It, I shouldn't get attached to darkners, If I need to do something bad.
We keep walking onward, we encounter the bakery guy, I just...take a piece of cake with my hands and shove it in my pocket, magic inventory for the win I guess.
I ignore the darkner, I doubt ralsei would be on board with killing literally everything in sight..
Up ahead, another rudinn.
Another chance to become stronger already, in the FIRST dark world..
BATTLE ENGAGE
A hathy shows up to back it up aswell?!
Fight, Fight.
We both land decent hits, just barely not enough for It to run away.
A heart circle surrounds us, diamonds come from ahead of us, I move slightly out of the way, not getting hit, I know darkners don't run away when another one is killed from the snowgrave route..
FIGHT, Hold

I slash, timed decently, It's enough to turn the rudinn to dust.
The hathy looks scared, and makes a spinning heart which goes to the right, It's delayed, but I manage to dodge the attack, since It's decently easy.
Fight, Fight.

The hathy looks tired now.
The heart spins, my reaction is too delayed, ralsei gets hit. 60/72

I run up to It, and slash, timing decently.

I felt great honestly, It's hard to describe the feeling.
I grab two more candies off of a tree, there's a puzzle ahead..
At this rate, I'll definitely be able to change events, I worry about Susie though..
