   Summary

   What if Katniss was too old to volunteer and instead there was a boy Prim's age -her friend- named after his deceased aunt and the boy who his mom grew up to next door too who died young in a house fire "Sid McCoy".

   No way two 12 year olds could be on fire, but maybe they could be diamonds, forced to form under the pressure of district 12.
