Summary
Connor and Hudson have been friends for a long time, and together they’ve built an unbreakable bond. Although both are in romantic relationships—Hudson with his girlfriend Kiley and Connor with his boyfriend François—there is an invisible thread that binds them in a way even they can’t explain, and that others find impossible to understand.
Cracks begin to form in their relationships when, time and again, they choose each other above everything else. Still, they resist accepting that what exists between them might be more than just friendship. A small gesture sparks jealousy and guilt. Between corporate pressure and unresolved emotions choosing whom to protect could mean losing everything.
“What do you want me to do?” he asked. “Would you feel better if I didn’t buy it?”
“Do whatever you want.”
“That’s not fair,” Connor shot back, his voice tightening. “You started this conversation. And we’re both aware that Hudson has a girlfriend and I’m with you, right?”
François looked up then. There was something in his eyes Connor didn’t like at all.
