   “We need flour next,” he says, ignoring the mild physical abuse from his brother. “It should be over here.”

   Tommy shoves the cart in the direction he points, then asks, “So why did you wanna do this?”

   “Huh?”

   “Y’know.” Tommy shrugs, flicking his hair out of his eyes. “This whole trip.”

   “We needed the groceries?”

   The look his twin gives him is scathing at best. “The no powers bit, dumbass.”

   His face is hot with embarrassment and he coughs, looking away. “I- uh. It doesn’t matter, don’t worry about it.”

   “Fuckin’ shitty-ass liar,” Tommy grumbles under his breath, swinging the cart into the aisle. “Please don’t tell me it’s some sort of fuckass soul-sibling bonding experience.”
