Summary
Matt took a deep breath, hissing. He felt a sharp pain in his ribs that prevented him from breathing easily. He took deep breaths to minimize the damage. Even the painkillers couldn't dull the burning sensation in all his bruised areas. Without joining one of the gangs and without a radar, Matt wouldn't last here. Most likely, someone will be sent to Block D tomorrow to stab him right in the heart. Matt swallowed. Uniting with criminals wasn't something he would agree to willingly. But now he had no other choice, if he wanted to survive.
