    Something bright waited there, crinkled and loud even while resting still. A bag, opened but not empty. Damian tilted his head. He slid off the sofa, the sippy cup thumping softly against his leg, and toddled over. He peered inside the bag as if it might peer back. The smell reached him first, sharp and daring. He pinched one curled chip between his fingers, orange dust clinging like a warning.
