Summary:

Within every universe there are soulmates. With every soulmate comes a story on how it all started. With every story there are shifts. With every shift tells a different version of their story.

In this universe it all begins with these two soulmates living what little normality they have until secrets are revealed, a war brews, all because of the mere powers one possesses and one amulet.

In this world the Temen-Ni-Gru was never created. In this world it was a sole connection with trauma and closely related childhoods that brought their souls together.

Not a damn prophecy. Not him fighting for her freedom.

Just simply them finding love in the other, finding trust, and a sense of peace.

Something that can easily be shattered with the snap of two fingers.

I'm fully aware that the Netflix DMC is not beloved by everybody. However this was my first exposure into the Devil May Cry world and I enjoyed it enough to be writing this.

In every universe people say there’s different versions of themselves. Some are either the same or completely different. In every universe the world could be completely different to what we are used to.
Cars could be flying, or airships would be flying in the air; the possibility was endless in the vast ocean of space that held many different universes. Or. The world could be simple. Nothing flying, no futuristic technology, nothing revolutionary.
Just regular, everyday earth with remnants of a war between Hell and Heaven decades ago. Not a tower sticking out of the center of the city, no shop with the neon sign of the infamous Devil May Cry name. Or fighting your own blood multiple times. No, no, no.
This is a world where none of that existed. A world where history intertwined, A young soul losing his family as a child. And her? Well her story is a bit different, but still she finds hims
They find each other.
In every universe, in every timeline. Their souls always find each other. And not because of some prophecy that foretold that this sole woman, a ruler, a creator would fall in love with a hybrid, a son of one of the strongest demons ever.
No. Because they were bonded, in every universe, every timeline. Their souls were bonded the moment they were born into their respective timelines.
Because as one person said:
Soulmates find each other.
Now. Let us take a detour from a story that has yet to be written. And into a world where little is known about each other’s heritage. But are thrusted into a fight that would determine if a new war would begin in the wake of a brewing storm.
