Day 10 - AU version of them - Kirby/Bandee
'Finally' he thought as he finally finished the last of the paperwork he needed done before leaning back against the chair while rubbing his forehead, feeling a slight headache forming. Looking out the window, he was surprised to see that it was night time already and realized that he missed dinner which caused his stomach to rumble right after the realization.
"Just a quick bite before heading to bed...." he mutters under his breath as he slipped out of the chair and making his way towards the kitchen. As he was making his way to the kitchen, he faintly picked up a sound coming from above and behind him........a sound that he recognize.
Subtlety shaking his head, he kept walking for a few more minutes before a thud was heard besides him though it didn't made him jump.
"Hello Kirby"
"Good evening, your Highness"
Despite them being a King and Knight towards each other from an outside perspective, they are very close friends.
Swiftly shifting his wings into his cape, Kirby easily fell into the same step as the king, "What you doing up this late?" the knight asked. Letting out a soft groan, Bandee lightly rub his head at the question, "I was finishing up some paperwork for....something" he answered, not even bothering to remember the reason behind the paperwork, "I'm just going to eat something real quick before heading to bed" he soon added.
"Oh...here, I can cook you something" Kirby offered with a smile as he grabbed Bandee's hand. Ignoring the way his face heats up at the contact, Bandee could only let out a soft laugh before squeezing his hand.
"I like that"
