Young Prince Dedede's got it tough as the heir to the throne of Dream Land. Even though he has a division of Waddle Dee servants to cater to his every whim, and he has a pretty good friend in the form of a squire named Meta, he still has to deal with suitors, boring tutoring, and your father being the victim of a murder plot. Standard royal family things.
As an adult, the long-since crowned King Dedede's nothing more than a corrupt glutton, going as far as stealing all the food in Dream Land. It'll have to take his closest friend plotting a siege against him and a power-hungry jester trying to take over the world to snap him out of it.
