His nose was red and irritated from all the snot he had wiped away, his eyes puffy and swollen from the crying he had been doing. He was dizzy, lightheaded from exhaustion as he stumbled his way to the zebra crossing.
He waited there, watching the traffic light before it glowed a green. Isagi let out a sigh as he mentally chided himself for being so weak.
So consumed by his thoughts he hadn’t noticed the truck racing towards him,
Only noticing when the truck was too close for him to dodge anymore. Turning his head to face the two blinding lights of the large vehicle before a gasp was ripped out of his lungs— his legs stilling momentarily.
