Every time he makes an attempt at leaving to track her down, though, he gets stopped by someone wanting his attention. And being the good mayor he is, he hates to ignore his people.
But then his eyes widen as she finally walks down the steps.

Nora had been hoping to make a quiet entrance. The moment Hancock spots her, though, everyone else’s heads also turn in her direction. She hopes her face isn’t as bright red as it feels, what with everyone watching her until she’s at the bottom of the stairwell. Then everyone turns back to their drinks and chems.
Except Hancock, who weaves through the crowd to greet her. “Ya made it.”
