GUESS WHO MY FIELD TRAINING OFFICER IN CHICAGO IS!
Just started at the CPD and guess who I meet there. Field Training Officer Daniel Fenton. That Daniel Fenton. The Vanishing Act. He is a cop, in Chicago.
And he nearly became my Field Training Officer.
I'll try to snap a photo of him later as proof. I at first didn’t believe it myself.

Oh, the city traitor’s here! How’s the Windy City? Better than Amity Park?
Reply by: AmityParkour 4/3/2021 10:39 A.M.
Wait, what? Daniel Fenton is a what now? In Chicago? Not even four hours away from here?

You sure it is Fenton?
Reply by: WorldExplorer (OP)4/3/2021 10:46 A.M.
Yes. I asked him, he confirmed. And he has that nasty Lichtenberg Figure.
Reply by: CoachOfTheCoaches 4/3/2021 10:50 A.M.
I mean... if it is Fenton, why didn't he apply locally? He should know Amity Park needs cops.
Reply by: RedVelvet 4/3/2021 10:52 A.M.
Especially ones who know how to actually fight ghosts.
Sure, the ghost hunters are supposed to fight them, but the ghosts don’t care. They bother the cops. You can’t exactly avoid ghosts in Amity Park.
Reply by: WorldExplorer (OP) 4/3/2021 10:55 A.M.
Can he fight ghosts?
Reply by: CoachOfTheCoaches 4/3/2021 10:57 A.M.
Thing is, he is very good at it, actually. You were, what, five when we in high school so you probably don’t know about it, but one time a group of ghosts hypnotized the adults and he... kinda... lead us into saving them.
Reply by: RedVelvet 4/3/2021 4/3/2021 10:59 A.M.
Danny knows how to fight ghosts, but he doesn't. Which is, frankly, a waste of his abilities.
Reply by: Lichtenberg 4/3/2021 11:00 A.M.
Officer Collin, please actually do your work on your first day. It would be bad if your FTO finds you on the phone slacking off, on the first day at that.
And @RedVelvet, you know very well why I don’t hunt ghosts.

FTO's get rotated every few weeks, to avoid bias and such.
The captain wanted to do Officer Collins a well meant favor, having someone from home be his first FTO, to help with the transition and such. Oh well.
Should someone tell him he may still get me as an FTO on a later rotation?
Reply by: RedVelvet 4/3/2021 11:24 A.M.
Nah, surprise him. Also, I like your new user name. Less edgy then the one you used back in High School.
Reply by: AmityParkour 4/3/2021 11:33 A.M.
But seriously, why didn't he apply in Amity Park? His home?
Reply by: AmityParkPD_Official 4/3/2021 11:39 A.M.
He did, but we rejected him and told him to apply elsewhere, before we ruin his chances with an inevitable termination. We didn’t want to have a liability in form of a Fenton on the force.
Reply by: Lichtenberg 4/3/2021 11:39 A.M.
I did, but they rejected me. Twice even.

@CollegeOfAmityPark_Official It is rare that someone with a 3.9 GPA applies at CAP. What good reason did you have to reject the Valedictorian of Class 2008?

@CollegeOfAmityPark_Official Shame on you, what college rejects a 3.9 GPA?
Reply by: Lichtenberg 4/3/2021 12:07 A.M.
@ LancelotGG A college who doesn’t want to deal with a Fenton. They literally said so on my rejection letter. Oh well, Loyola University of Chicago is was a better school anyway, so if anything, they did me a favor not to waste my time at CAP.

Fenton Update: Daniel Fenton Now Police Officer In Chicago - by Tiffanie Minh, 4/4/2021 [Amity Park Chronicle]
Infamous Fenton has been revealed to be a Police Officer in Chicago on the Amity Park City Forums by local who also moved to Chicago to pursue a career at the Chicago Police Department.
For years the name Fenton has been associated with collateral damage, an obession with ghosts and an unmatchd genius in Amity Park. But since 2012, the name Fenton was associated with a Police Officer in Chicago.
Daniel Fenton, the son and second child of the Ecto Scientists Drs. Jack and Madeline Fenton and younger brother of PsyD Jasmine Fenton, hasn’t been seen in Amity Park since 2012 for a short visit, after leaving town for college in 2008.
But Roman Collins, a local graduate of the College of Amity Park who left the city to become an officer on Chicago, discovered that Fenton also found his way to the Windy City. And would have been his Field Training Officer. Officer Collins shared this discovery on a threat on the AmityParkersOutside Community on the Amity Park City Forums. This has been confirmed by Officer Fenton himself, in form of a selfie.
[The article was interrupted in a print of the selfie in color, as high definition as the newsletter’s print allows.]
Officer Collins just intented to report of his first day at his new job, but the fact that a Fenton became a police officer, in his precinct at that, was so shocking, that this was all he had written about.
Probationary Officer Collins stated Officer Fenton was originally going to be his Field Training Officer, as a favor according to Officer Fenton.
Officer Fenton clarified that Officer Collins was originally assigned to be his FTO to help with the transition from Amity Park to Chicago, as both come from Amity Park. They implied that Officer Fenton won’t be responsible for Collins anymore, but neither stated why.
After the news of Fenton’s path in life have been processed by the active users of AmityParkOutsiders, one question emerged: Why didn’t Daniel Fenton apply in Amity Park, be it for college or for work. Especially the lack of an application at the Amity Park Police Department bothered many, as the APPD had been thinly staffed, ever since the ghosts first appeared back in 2004. A city native like Fenton should know this and thus should feel compelled to work in his home town.
But the explanation came quickly. Fenton did apply locally, but both CAP and the APPD rejected him. The APPD confirmed this themselves, while the rejection by CAP has been revealed by PsyD Fenton, after CAP called out the APPD to reject someone, despite needing new blood.
The fact that Officer Fenton holds the rank of a Field Training Officer at the Chicago Police Department shows that hurdles like a psychological evaluation or academy results were not the issue.
The APPD admitted to have rejected him, because they feared he would be a liability based on his surname and his parent’s reputation. CAP rejected him for the same reason, according to PsyD Fenton.
That our local college rejected Officer Fenton was more surprising, as he applied with a 3.9 GPA back in 2008. It is unheard of that CAP rejects such high GPA’s, especially if they are from Valedictorian’s or from locals. Or both in the Officer’s case. But Officer Fenton stated on APCF that he didn’t mind, his college of choice had been better anyway.
From Fall 2008 to Spring 2011, Officer Fenton spend his time in Loyola University of Chicago. He neither disclosed what field his studies belomged to, nor if he finished a degree, but it is safe to assume he at least completed sixty college hours, as this is a requirement for Law Enforcement in Chicago, which a source confirmed. More on that later.
After the thread on APCF cooled down, we contacted the APPD for an interview.
Commissioner Samuel G. Miller told me, “It is true he applied here twice. You see, if someone want to be a cop, one applies at a department. The department then sponsors them to enroll in a police academy. After they graduate there, they work there as a PPO, a Probationary Police Officer. This is what his first application after college was for.”
I asked him what the second one was for.
“It is possible to enroll in an academy as a civilian, but this comes with a big price tag. Multiple thousands of dollars. 2012, April I think, he returned with a second application/he put himself though the academy. One in Chicago. We rejected him again. In hindsight, it was stupid. He passed the psych evals of the academy and his results were stellar. Hell, his college credentials from 2011 should have made that clear already.
“Fenton managed to complete a four year bachelor in three. He majored in Criminology. I don’t know what his minor was anymore, I think it was Criminal Law. But it has been a decade and I never bothered to remember it.”
I pointed out he recalled what the major was.
“We rarely have applicants with bachelors. At most we see ones with Associates degrees, but the majority only had high school diploma’s, until we made the sixty college hours mandatory in 2006. Even then, most do an Associates, just a bit over the requirement. […] In hindsight, we were stupid.”
Many people complained about the APPD’s assessment of Fenton. The APPD has been understaffed for seventeen years now, yet they rejected one of the most qualified applicants twice.
Mayor Vladimir Masters announced he would audit the APPD, to see if they rejected other promising officers due to questionable hiring practices. While some citizens appreciate the initiative, others call for an audit of the Mayor, claiming he might only do this, because Officer Fenton was his god son. The Mayor told us he was not aware what his god son was doing after college. He didn’t knew Fenton was aiming to become an Officer, let alone that he applied at the APPD twice.

I THINK MY FTO HATES ME.
You probably figured it out by the original post, but Officer Fenton was reassigned someone else’s FTO. Now the FTO I was assigned to? I’m sure he hates me.
My Sargeant told me if I complain about working with a Fenton, who he assigned to me to help me to transition to Chicago – the CPD prefers to hire graduates from their city bound academies -, that he won’t do me any favors anymore. Which… fair.
The FTO I got instead treats me as a tourist. He is clearly displeased that I didn’t train in a local academy. I’m not sure if he hates me because of this, or because I insulted the guy who constantly buys the whole unit coffee.
Yeah, turns out Officer Fenton is very well liked in the CPD. Partly because he constantly pays for everyone’s coffee.
Partly because he is a good officer.
The APPD, CAP and I were very wrong to reduce him to his surname.
I saw him on the shooting ranges. His groupings are basically just one hole.
Reply by: AmityParkour 4/14/2021 9:30 P.M.
Meanwhile the APPD’s shooting is a very ‘spray and pray’ type of deal, we don’t have a designated Marksman and our SWAT is more of a ghost hunter unit than a SWAT team.
Reply by: StarPadparadscha 4/14/2021 9:34 P.M.
@AmityParkour To be fair, the ghosts keep any reasons than might require SWAT at bay.
Reply by: AmityParkour 4/14/2021 9:38 P.M.
@StarPadparadscha But in the cases we need SWAT, especially the ones were we need a DM… we’re screwed. All I’m saying is Dina’s funeral.
Reply by: CoachOfTheCoaches 4/14/2021 9:42 P.M.
Wait, isn’t a DM a SWAT thing?
Reply by: Nightshade 4/14/2021 9:44 P.M.
@CoachOfTheCoaches A designated Marksman, in basic terms, is basically a between step between officers and SWAT. They are patrol officers with additional certifications, mainly they are allowed to carry a rifle, who immediately provide fire, mainly when SWAT is on their way, but, well, fire is needed.

@AmityParkour @Nightshade I had the hope he would talk to them once he passes his probationary period, in a ‘I told you so’ manner. But even after he got his FTO certification, no sound.
Reply by: Lichtenberg 4/14/2021 11:50 P.M.
@CalmingJasmineTea Considering of condescending they always treat the APPD, anyone who isn’t a ghost hunter or ecto scientist – heck – other GH’s or ES’s not associated with them, I didn’t think they would be proud or something. Probably just some stupid comment that I could have done better or something. Didn’t you tell me they told you, you could have put the effort for your PsyD into Ecto Sciences?

TALES FROM THE FTO! FTO LEWIS PACKS OUT!
Spoiler: Lewis reports no Fenton Insanity. No bad driving, no ghost obsessed behavior. In fact Lewis claims Officer Fenton was nearly the perfect rookie.

NEW YEAR, NEW FTO! OFFICER FENTON IS MY FTO NOW!
If this rotation would have happened any earlier… I might worry he hates me.
I’m a bit surprised he had been assigned to me, due to what had happened on my first day, but oh well. Officer Fenton is… very strict on the shooting range. As soon as he was assigned, he dragged me to the shooting range to work on my form.
The sarge just let it happen, despite a patrol being scheduled.
Reply by: Lichtenberg 1/11/2022 9:07 P.M.
The Sarge knew your form needed work, Collins. And if you haven’t noticed, the first days/weeks are always direct training with my rookies. The Sarge is used to that.
Reply by: Lichtenberg 1/11/2022 9:09 P.M.
Also, I have been assigned to you, because you are one of the few who didn’t attend a Chicagoan academy, you are somewhat considered to be a ‘weak’ rookie. Specifically, on this rotation you will have to deal with both the Phantom’s Day celebrations and the Moon Remembrance Day, so to compensate for your ‘weak’ status, Sarge assigned you to me.
Reply by: CoachOfTheCoaches 1/11/2022 9:12 P.M.
@Lichtenberg Not to be insulting, Fenton, but are you that much of a big deal? Sounds like you got an edge over the other FTO’s.

Tomorrow Is The Big Day - by Wisteria Haddows, 2/17/2022[Amity Park Journal]
On the 18th of February 2008, an Astreoid of gigantuan proportions was scheduled to collide with earth. But the ghost boy Phantom somehow destroyed it, after Mayor Vlad Masters’ attempt failed. Since then, the 18th day of February is a worldwide holiday to celebrate worldwide graditute to Phantom – wherever he might be.
Fourteen years ago, even the brightest minds of the world considered us doomed after Mayor Vlad Masters’ attempt – under the possession influence of the ghost Plasmius - failed. While said man gave up and held a farewell speech to the whole world, Phantom showed up and told us he’ll take a shot at the ‘Disastroid’ as many have coined it since then.
No one told him not to. Either out of desperation, or because the ghost boy won’t have listened anyway. Vlad Masters tried, however. He told Phantom he couldn’t touch the Disastroid, as it was made from a material that repelled ghosts. But Phantom just shrugged and told us to let it be his issue. With that, he flew into space. To this day, we do not know what he did up there.
An hour later, the Disastroid exploded and was just gone. Phantom returned to Earth with a nonchalancy only a teen could muster and let us cheer on him. Months later, Phantom didn’t show up anymore, after statues of him have been erected all around the world.
Now as for why the world hero stopped showing up, there are many theories. Many occult experts assume he is a Guardian Spirit of sorts. After saving us, he simply didn’t feel needed.
Others assume, as he did something to the Disastroid, the ghost repelling material had harmed him.
Most people, especially here in Amity Park, however assume it is because of the third theory. Phantom stayed for months after February 18th, which meant he had noticed the – back then at least – newest Fenton Theorem.
Many people, like the Fenton’s, noticed that the explosion of the Disastroid had similarities to the day the moon exploded – more to that on page 11 – and assumed these two events are connected.
The Fenton’s theorized that Phantom is the villain in the story and destroyed the moon. They claim he only rescued us from the Disastroid to manipulate us. Their repeated accusations might have chased him off, to the point that Phantom hasn’t been seen since late 2008.
While the similarities of the explosions and flash of light that followed them is suspicious, the collective consensus is: Phantom is a hero. After all, there is a holiday all about him now.

PHANTOM’S DAY WITH OFFICER FENTON!
I have to admit, while I have acknowledged by now that he isn’t walking collateral like his parents, I was kinda assuming their opinion on Phantom had rubbed off on him.
Okay, not saying he acted like a Phan or worshipper… he acted like anytime he is the security detail on a parade. It was whiplash.
Reply by: Lichtenberg 2/18/2022 9:08 P.M.
I can’t believe people still care about updates about me.
And I acted like it is just another parade… because it is just another parade. I mean, I understand the value the world places on Phantom… but it is still just a parade. However I am always surprised that, compared to other events, not many people try something on that day. Especially Phantom’s Cultists… One would think these weirdo’s try something.

@Lichtenberg Well, you are a Fenton. You might not have the infamy of your parents, but you are still somewhat of a celebrity in Amity Park.
Reply by: Nightshade 2/18/2022 9:11 P.M.
@Lichtenberg My best guess is these folks stay quiet because it is Phantom’s Day: they don’t want to offend their idol.

I forgot to mention, while patrolling today, we started to chat about the weird lack of action of the worshippers. Officer Fentonsaid the cultists are idiots for thinking ghosts can be summoned like demons.

@WorldExplorer Collins, at one point Danny will let you know that he doesn’t like you parroting to the internet. Especially this part of the internet.

17 Years Without A Full Moon - by Jacob Astor, 3/22/2022 [Amity Park Angle]
On the 22nd March 2005, the moon exploded out of nowhere. For the last 17 years, only 30% remain of Earth’s satellite. Today is the 16th Moon Remembrance Day.
Today nearly two decades ago, 70% of the moon exploded out of nowhere. To this day, we do not know why, what caused it, how it happened, if it might happen again. But what we know is that the explosion was a wake up call to cherish everything we have, as it might just vanish without a warning.
Like each Lunar Remembrance Day, we put up decorations depicting the old and new moon. Some regions might remember the old moon by watching old media centering around Earth’s satellite while others might appropriate chinese moon cakes for today.
But starting 3:17 – the minute to the dot the moon exploded back in 2006 – everyone is asked to ignite candles and let them burn for an hour. Later that day, when night falls, you may reignite them. But as long as any electrical light is out, it does not matter.
The goal is to see the remaining 30% of the moon. Light pollution does not aide this goal.

LUNAR REMEMBRANCE DAY WITH OFFICER FENTON!
The thing is, today was our day off. Well, originally, it was just his day off. I was just given day off because Sarge Wallis didn’t want me to assign to someone else for a day. Apparently Lunar Remembrance Day is always his day off.
Which itself is not weird, aside that it looked like Sarge pushes this on Officer Fenton. Fenton was just like “Again this year? Okay.” He doesn’t intentionally take off this day. That was so weird.
Anyway, turns out Officer Fenton has cats. I saw them!
After Sarge told us we have a day off today, Ofc. Fenton just said ‘Might as well use the day and bring my cats to the vet.’
And I was like ‘You have cats?’
Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t think he won’t be the type for pets. It is just, I never saw even one cat hair on him. Especially with cats plural, not having cat hair on the clothes is borderline impossible. I was just very surprised, because I saw nothing on him that implied he had cats. Or any pet for that matter.
Also, I got to see his personal car and… well… From all things car, I didn’t expect him to drive something so, uh, cute. If you can call a car cute.
[At the end of the post was the picture of a red MINI Cooper with white rally stripes. The car plates have been blured out.]

@Lichtenberg Nice taste in color, Officer.

My gosh, it is so cute! And not at all a badass car.
Reply by: CarCorture77 2/23/2022 8:33 P.M.
This MINI Cooper looks like a relatively new model from 2020. And it just looks new. @Lichtenberg I assume an FTO in Chicago can afford more? Why not a SUV or a Jeep?
Reply by: Lichtenberg 2/23/2022 8:37 P.M.
@CarCorture77 I can afford more, but I do not need more. I don’t drive my personal car often, so a small, easy to park car is all I need. Then again, maybe I’m just traumatized by the GAV, still.
But yes, it is a MINI Cooper S Hartop 2020 model. I brought it 2020, after my Toyota gave up on me, but I haven’t used it much, hence it looks as good as new.
Reply by: CoachOfTheCoaches 2/23/2022 8:43 P.M.
@Lichtenberg Of all cars, why this tiny thing? It is so timid.
Reply by: Lichtenberg 2/23/2022 8:46 P.M.
@CoachOfTheCoaches That is the point, Dash. Like I already mentioned, I need something easy to park, meaning something small. Something that isn’t attention catching. I don’t want nor need a big, American car. Partly because it just doesn’t fit my life style off-duty. I drive a SUV all the time. I don’t need a Ford Interceptor or similar in my private life, a small Cooper to get my cats to the vet is enough.
Reply by: StarPadparadscha 2/23/2022 8:49 P.M.
@Lichtenberg About that, might we see the cats?
Reply by: Lichtenberg 2/23/2022 8: 51 P.M.
@StarPadparadscha Sure! Meet Alibi and Evidence, Evi for short.
[The first picture was of a white Maine Coon with blue eyes. She sat regally on an ottoman, staring at the camera. On the floor, laying on front of the same ottoman was a short haired black cat with green eyes and her tongue sticking out. She was clawing the furniture. While Alibi elegant, Evi was chaos.]

Q&A with Lichtenberg – Designated Marksman and Field Training Officer Daniel Fenton of the CPD 4/20/2022 5:07 A.M.
Greetings, Amity Park. Probationary Officer Collins’ posts on here have shown me that this city has a certain interest in me still. While I told him to tone down what he shares about me, I am open for compromises, so I let you ask questions. However this does not mean that I answer them. If a question is too personal or too stupid, I choose not to answer them.
I will let this thread rest and collect questions for now. I’ll answer them when a certain amount has been generated. Probably after I finish my next shift.
And to @MayorVladimirMasters_Official: No, I will not transfer to Amity Park, now stop spamming my inbox.
Reply by: MayorVladimirMasters_Official 4/20/2022 5:09 A.M.
Oh, Little Badger. Why so cold? As for my offers, why don’t you want to transfer? Amity Park is home. You even applied twice at the APPD! I just want to help you right a wrong!
Reply by: Lichtenberg 4/20/2022 6:33 P.M.
@MayorVladimirMasters_Official First of all, I’m so ‘cold’, because unlike you, I separate my professional and private self. Secondly, Amity hasn’t been my home in ten years. While it is true that I applied twice, I have been rejected twice by the APPD.
And even if I would want to transfer, I prefer to do so on my own accord and based on my merits. I don’t want nor need you to pull strings.
And as of now I do not desire to leave Chicago.
Reply by: AmityParkPD_Official 4/20/2022 5:14 A.M.
No question, we just wanted to apologize for the rejections for no valid reason. The APPD understands if you don’t forgive us.
Reply by: Lichtenberg 4/20/2022 6:36 P.M.
@AmityParkPD_Official I forgive you. I have better things to do than to hold a grudge for a decade.
Reply by: TiffanieNotTiffany 4/20/2022 5:19 A.M.
What the heck are your cats names. Alibi? Evidence? I would say these like a name a workaholic would come up with, but these sound moreso like names a detective would choose. In general, why do you have cats? What is these cuties’ stories?
Reply by: Lichtenberg 4/20/2022 6:40 P.M.
@TiffanieNotTiffany Let me guess, Mrs. Minh, you want to write a piece on my cats? Well, I can live with that and there actually is a funny story about Evidence.
I got Alibi a bit over two years after I finished my Probation, just because I wanted a cat. In the shelter, she was the only one of the cats who approached me, so I just picked her. She basically choose me. As for her name. Around that time I was dating. The relationship failed and my ex accused me of cheating. As in, she thought I didn’t go to a shelter to adopt a cat, but that I was with some woman instead. I was literally holding Kitten Alibi when that happened.
She was named so, because she literally was an alibi. Well, the name was not official at first. My friends and I just refered her as my Alibi to make fun of my failed relationship and it just kinda stuck.
Now Evidence. One time I assisted a detective with a murder case. There we found Evi in a dumbster with the finger of the murderer in her mouth. As she was literally evidence, we – as in the CPD - kept her. Now, you can’t exactly keep a cat in an evidence locker or a police station in general, so it was decided I take care of her as I already have stuff for a cat there. After the case was solved, I was allowed to keep her. By then the name Evidence stuck as well.
[His post was accompanied by a new photo of Alibi and Evidence, both chilling on a massive cat tree. Alibi sat on top, her fluffy white tail hanging off a platform she laid on and Evi peaking out of a cat cave. One of three the tree has.
An orange cat, long hair, fluffy, but not a Maine Coon, peaked out from another cave.
The picture also allowed a peek into Danny’s living room, namely the big windows showing the Chicago skyline and a bit of a nice kitchen isle, painted blue.]
Kitties got a new cat tree.
Reply by WestSide: 4/20/2022 6:52 P.M.
@Lichtenberg Wait a minute, there is a third cat in your pics? And a forth?! I think I see something in the third cave?!
Reply by: Lichtenberg: 4/20/2022 6:54 P.M.
@WestSide The orange cat, Floki, belongs to a neighbour. I’m just cat sitting them. But yes, there is a third cat. Recently, I got a third cat… kinda.
While Officer Collins and I were on patrol, a kitten jumped into our cruiser and didn’t want to leave. I wasn’t sure to post about her yet, because I don’t have a name for her yet. Collins wants to keep on the theme. She’ll either be named Motive or Warrant, but nothing is decided yet.
[His post was followed by the picture of a small, tuxedo kitten with heterochromic eyes, blue and green. Said cat sat on an expensive looking laptop.]

@Lichtenberg Why is your apartment so nice? Or am I underestimating the wage of an FTO in chicago?
Reply by: StarPadparadscha 4/20/2022 7:08 P.M.
@Lichtenberg Due to, lets call it paranoia or an obsession with independence, I invested some money into real estate. To the point that I own a few buildings, including the apartment complex I live in. So yeah, I’m a bit more affluent than an FTO normally is.
And before anyone asks where I got the money: I had a college fund – a very nice one as FentonWorks did generate a lot of money from late 2004 to 2007-ish – of which I had a bit remaining after college. After all, I only needed to pay for three out of four years, thanks to finishing early.
Reply by: StarPadparadscha 4/20/2022 7:11 P.M.
@Lichtenberg Neat. Wait, does that mean Floki is your tenants cat? You’re a landlord who also cat sits? How nice! My landlord is pissed if he just has to do his job, I couldn’t imagine to ask him to cat sit.
Reply by: WorldExplorer 4/20/2022 7:12 P.M.
@Lichtenberg “a bit more affluent than an FTO normally is” is an understatement, Sir. I saw you tip that delivery guy $50 without any hesitation.
Reply by: CarCorture77 4/20/2022 6:12 A.M.
Why the MINI Cooper specifically? It is not the only small city car in existance.
Reply by: Lichtenberg 4/20/2022 7:14 P.M.
@CarCorture77 Origninally, I wanted to get another Toyota or some other Japanese car, but I really liked the way it looked, meaning the color, and I didn’t want to waste too much time just on choosing a car. I basically just picked the first car I kind of liked.
Like I mentioned in a prior thread, I don’t drive my personal car a lot. I spend a good part of my shifts in a Ford Explorer. When I’m done with a shift, especially a 16 hour shift like I had today, I don’t want to deal with traffic, but rest. So I use the train most of the time to get to and from work. I only use the car if I need to shop a lot or if the cats need to see the vet.

Officer Fenton, someone leaked your college transcripts on Y.com. We saw it and, sorry for peeking, but do you really speak Japanese and Russian? Especially Russian? We know you did an exchange year in Japan, so it makes sense you know some Japanese, but Russian?
Reply by: Lichtenberg 4/20/2022 7:25 P.M.
@CollegeOfAmityPark_Official The English teacher in Kunugigaoka who taught my class was Russian. Jelavic-Sensei decided the skill gap between a native speaker and my Japanese classmates was too high, so while the others got a hang on English, she made me learn Russian to keep me busy. She was strict. Well, so was Karasuma-Sensei, but she had very high standards, especially when it came to her mother tongue. So yeah, I know Russian.

Danny, about High School… First of all, I am sorry for my bullying. I realized by now that this was a shit thing to do.
Secondly, considering you constandly ran off when ghosts attacked, did you have had anything to do with Phantom using Fenton Gear in HS?
Reply by: Lichtenberg 4/20/2022 7:35 P.M.
@CoachOfTheCoaches Yes. I smuggled gear to Phantom. It is no secret that Phantom was a better protection from ghosts than my parents, so I have no qualms to admit to that now. I also gave gear to the Red Huntress when she and Phantom became allies.
Also: Apology accepted.

Officer Fenton, Daniel, might I ask… Why Chicago? Why a city so close to Amity Park? It is clear to me you left the city due to bitterness over your parents’ reputation and the snow ball effect it had on you. In your shoes, I probably would have left the state as well. Or at least chosen a city further away than a county.
Reply by: Lichtenberg 4/20/2022 7:49 P.M.
@LancelotGG Mr. Lancer, you got a point and a part of me wanted a bigger distance for the longest time. In fact at one point I considered to migrate to Japan.
I kept close by, because of the Ghost Portal. The portal poses a danger, regardless what mom and dad say. In case something bad happens, I wanted to stay closeby, to react quickly. But as the APPD rejected me, I settled in surrounding areas instead.
Of course Amity has @RedHuntress_Official and maybe Phantom migt show up again, but I’m still worried about the portal still being open. I doubt my parents build in a method to safely shut it off.
