The second biggest person to cause him that much trouble was Pariah Dark. Almost in the last ditch effort to go out in style. Though there is a change of plans but not of his own free will. A little help here a lot of drama there and now Danny is on a new Earth with his new adoptive father. Living in Gotham with Pariah, Dorathea and a few other ghosts while trying to figure out whether the normal life was truly for him.

Summary
This fic picks up after Part One of »Shadow of Doubt« (Chapter 10) – it is recommended to have read »Phantom of Truth« and »Shadow of Doubt« by HaiJu up to the noted chapter.
After his mother, convinced Danny was a ghost impersonating his son, shot at him, Danny ran away from Amity Park. He ends up in Gotham without a plan and little to no knowledge. He only knows that he cannot fall into the hands of the Bats, who would certainly return him into the hands of the Guys in White. But Lady Gotham has other ideas and Red Robin just cannot resist a mystery he cannot solve.

Summary
Being liminal, aka halfa or aka living spirits means their forms are fluent, liminals having different names depending on where in the world, from demigods in Greek, to Great Britan’s fae, or yokai in japan just to name some examples. Sam and Tucker being there when Danny became a halfa, but as they weren’t in the portal with their exposure, they became halfas slower, over the following months but got to the point where they where also truly liminal with powers that entail.
Even if Danny’s mastered liminal shapeshifting the other two have only tried smaller changes so far, appearing more human or more ghostly as Sam comes with a idea for something more intense and to have some arousing fun with it at the same time. well it’s not like they’re stuck or limited and they can always say no or stop if it gets to far but can also lead to some very arousing few days. -

Danny moved to Gotham after college and used ghost king money to start up an aerospace engineering firm. When Danny got settled he started up a collection for his favorite show 'Gray Ghost', he'd been introduced to it when his dad got the VHS copies thinking they were haunted. He had loved it ever since and finally he had the money and space to get some ultra rare memorabilia.
Unfortunately, someone always beat him to the punch.
Bruce. Fucking. Wayne.
Meanwhile Bruce is juggling being Batman, Brucie Wayne, and now being a guardian to the bat kids . On top of that he has to manage around his crush on the one other truly good philanthropic man in Gotham that has the same love of corny detective shows as him. Bruce has tried to talk to the guy at galas but Daniel seems to hate him. Which. Well. Isn't exactly a turn off.
Bruce's Kids are starting to suspect that Batman might be an idiot actually. Danny is oblivious to Bruce Wayne's attraction. It doesn't help that Phantom has a crush on Batman. -

Phantom’s form started to glitch and contort in his vision, a crown flickering in and out of existence above his head. A cloak made of the cosmos unfurled from his shoulders, eyes glowing bright and eerie, and god was he beautiful. It should be off-putting, his limbs just a little too long, his hair floating unnaturally around him, his teeth just a little too sharp, but Tim found himself wanting to kneel, wanting to worship. After all, it was clearly a god before him, wasn’t it? Gods were supposed to be beautiful, and this was the most beautiful thing Tim had ever seen.
Tim Drake is in Amity Park, investigating the GIW. Unfortunately for him, the local hero is exactly his type.

Danny had been living in Gotham for a few months now, and had been enrolled in GCU for almost all of that time. No ghost attacks, no Government agencies on his spectral tail, and plenty of ecto to feed on.
It's been quiet, blissfully so. Unnaturally so. But whether that's because of intervention from Clockwork, or the fact that Gotham herself seems to have adopted him, is anyone's guess. It's been relaxing, fulfilling, and equally stressful as fuck. Is that an oxymoron? Maybe, but so is Danny, so.
This dimension is nice and all (It's got aliens!), and it's not like he can't talk to his friends or family when he wants and visit on breaks, but if Clockwork would explain what Danny should actually be doing, that would be great. And maybe if the cult would back the hells off, Danny's half-life would be peaches and cream.

Danny's trying to recover all the shards to an entity's chalice so that it'll stop destroying the zone while tensions rise amongst his subjects- and trying to finish high school.
Tim's juggling his case load, his work as CEO, and does not have time to be embroiled in a sex scandal right now. If that means he has to pretend to date a very suspicious heir to a rival company, then so be it.
It's a mutually beneficial relationship. So what if Tim's becoming a little too intrigued by the illusive, powerful Phantom? So what if Danny can't stand the Justice League for leaving him to deal with all of Amity's problems when he was just 14? That's a superhero thing.And their fake boyfriend has no clue that they're a superhero.
