Figures this author only has two fics listed so far and they’re both fucking amazing.
A short story about Rose and Ilya interacting at a club, and it’s by far the best depiction of their dynamic I’ve ever read.
Rose, as always, is an absolute saint, but the author makes her feel human too, even when her powers of perceptiveness are a little…uncanny (play the X-Squad theme music).
Ilya, as always, has lingering bitterness towards her but is also quietly grateful to her for being there for Shane when he couldn’t, which is a canonical part of their relationship dynamic that goes criminally underexplored. I want to read 10 more chapters.
