Summary
A years long war has ended and a triumphant Duke Caelan returns to his post in the midlands of the north and to his husband and young son. Eònan has dreaded this day for two years and his spouse's homecoming brings news he's feared from the southern court about the future of their family. Eònan knows these changes will destroy him and the son he loves and desperately seeks a way for them to escape this future before it comes to pass. That chance takes the form of the mysterious and courteous master swordsmen who returned at his husband's side. The man was appointed to tutor their son, Ciarán, in warfare, but Eònan finds himself drawn to this disarmingly gentle and familiar man.
In the vaguest possible way, a fantasy-historical (medieval-ish) story inspired by elements of the princess bride, but far darker and nowhere as whimsical. This is A/B/O dynamics.
