The Freak Circus Platonic Yandere HCs
Preface (not a real story, I usually don't pace this quickly -- I just had some fun imagining it, HCs are below this!):
Pierrot knew from the moment you first helped him out on the streets… You would be his child. You were so small, so fragile and yet you still chose to stand up for him. What a noble little one!
He follows you around happily on the first day. There’s more than enough flyers around town. He’s sure Jester won’t mind…
When he sees how lonely you are, with no caretakers at all, he feels sad. You must’ve been waiting so long for him to find you!
He corners you to hand over his red ticket later, “Come play with me at the circus,” he whispers sweetly in your ear.
You go because well, free circus.
Ticket Taker is surprised to see a “child” with a red ticket. “You shouldn’t be here,” he smiles kindly. “This circus might be too scary for you.”
You’re a bit offended honestly. “I am not that young!”
Ticket Taker absolutely refuses.
You, of course, sneak in. Harlequin’s tent is your first stop. You’re enthralled with his story and you can’t help but shout for more.
“My, my… so noisy.” he glances your way. “Who let a child come in? Oh. Of course it was Pierrot,” he huffs a fit of laughter. “Well, well, well. You’re cute. I think I’ll keep you for myself.”
He gives you a shiny green pin. It’s so pretty that you don’t refuse.
Then your world goes black…
You hear an argument when you wake up. The aggressive jingles of Pierrot’s bells are faintly recognizable as Harlequin teases him.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about. I haven’t seen any children today.” Harlequin says, voice betraying mischief.
“I’ll kill you,” Pierrot growls.
“Oh really? I’d like to see you try.”
Pierrot pushes Harlequin back into the tent. You watch as he stabs his shoulder.
Wide eyed and afraid, you huddle further into the corner…
Now, onto HCs!
Platonic Pierrot HCs:
- He’d want to be your “papa.”
- He wants to spoil you a lot and make your favorite foods.
- He’s super affectionate and always keeps you in his sight unless you’re with someone he trusts (anyone else in the circus other than Harlequin).
- He’s very overprotective. He doesn’t want you to see the bad or violent side of him.
- He’s super gentle and afraid of hurting you. He thinks you’re so tiny (no matter how big you are) and that you need to be protected from the world.
- He talks to you a lot in private and loves singing to you or reading bedtime stories.
- “Come little one, let’s play patty cake together! Aren’t you so much happier with me?”
Platonic Harlequin HCs:
- Now, although Pierrot found you first, Harlequin is determined to make you his.
- Think of him as the cool uncle. Fatherhood isn’t really his thing.
- He’s always causing mischief with you. He goads you into doing things that would normally get him in trouble.
- He won’t admit it, but he likes entertaining you and wants you to have fun with him. He often hides you from Pierrot to be a menace and to teach you “bad” things.
- “Oh come on now, aren’t I a better caretaker than that stuck-up Pierrot? Why don’t you live in my tent from now on? Pierrot will never know~”
Platonic Ticket Taker HCs:
- Although he was against keeping you at first, he’s actually quite doting.
- He likes reading quietly with you or teaching you basic skills.
- He’s parental in a way, but there’s no label on your relationship.
- He’s actually the most consistent in keeping you away from blood and gore.
- He thinks you’re too young to be exposed to that, and as much as he won’t admit it… he’s grown protective of you too.
- “Come along now dear, would you like to help me make some tea?”
Platonic Doctor HCs:
- He was the last to find out about you, the new “addition” to the family.
- Honestly, he doesn’t really mess with Pierrot’s things, but you’re just such a wonderful subject he can’t help it…
- He’s actually quite gentle with you, but he does like experimenting.
- He’ll give you a check-up every time he sees you, just to stay consistent.
- You’re like his little test subject, except he’s genuinely invested in keeping you healthy and alive.
- “Close your eyes sweetness, it’s all just to make you better. It’ll just be a little pinch. I’ll even get you extra dessert later, how about that?”
Platonic Jester HCs:
- When he found out Pierrot and Harlequin were fighting over a child this time, he was rather disapproving. He thought that they agreed not to involve children in their operations.
- But… he did warm up to you. He gets pretty ticked off if you call him anything other than Jester, but he acts a lot like a father (mommy Jester 💜 /lh)
- “No, don’t do that.” he sighs, holding you up by the scruff of your shirt collar. “Did Harlequin put you up to this? What did I tell you? You have to be good if you want to stay.”
- “I don’t want to stay anyway!”
- “Oh? Is that so? Well, I'm afraid you don’t have a choice, child.”
- He’d never admit it, but you’ve become an irreplaceable part of the family.
You’re the heart that reminds them what it is to be human.
