The Family from Hell

Summary:

This is a family Au that has been building up in my head for years since the release of Wednesday season 2. It involves many random people, but they’re all siblings. I take a lot of their personalities and flip them upside down.

These kids are the children of Lady Death and Agatha Harkness. This follows them navigating a word that is out to get them. They were born to die after all and every day they stay alive, the fates get angrier.

Notes:

I’ve only seen/read half of the things I’m referencing, and it has been a long time for the ones I actually know about. Characters just keep joining the party, and I need to write it down for someone else to hear.

Chapter Text

For starters, this AU takes place in the first season of the series, Wednesday. There are two distinct types of outcasts. The first is the normal outcast, like the ones we see in the series; the second kind is a rogue, an outcast with an unusually high level of bloodlust. These outcasts typically remain in the wild in areas such as forests, mountains, and the oceans. They actively pursue human flesh.

All of these people are siblings:

Marilyn Thornhill - Mimic, the oldest sibling, Quadruplet
Misty (from Yellow Jackets) - Rogue Werewolf, Identical to Marilyn, Quadruplet
Frank (Abigail) - Rogue Vampire, Quadruplet
Lady Lesso (School for Good and Evil) - Rogue Siren, Quadruplet

Hope Mikaelson - Tribrid, Vampire, Witch, Werewolf

Abigail (from the movie Abigail) - Rogue Vampire

Ashlyn (School Bus Graveyard) - Normie

Joey (Abigail) - Normie, Identical twin of Sam
Sam (Scream 5) - Normie, Identical twin of Joey

Wednesday Addams - Psychic/Raven, Triplet
Vada Cavall - Kitsune, Triplet
Tara (Scream 5) - Normie, Triplet

Garett Gates - Spirit

Nicholas Scratch - Spirit

Billy - Witch, Twin of Tommy
Tommy - Normie, Twin of Billy

As seen above, they are separated by who they were born with.

Misty and Frank are an extension of Marilyn. It’s like Moonknight, so if she looks in a three way mirror, you can see all of them. The difference is that they can be separated on will, but because they’re rogue, Marilyn doesn’t like to let them free. They used to be free, but then the events of Yellow Jackets and Abigail happened. In the woods, Misty got turned into a werewolf, and in the mansion, Frank also got turned. In this AU, she is not evil, but she is there to protect Wednesday from trouble.

Rio and Agatha, the parents of all of the kids, wanted to protect Wednesday because so many of their kids have either died or been in life-threatening danger. All of their kids bear the mark of the Vidal family on the backs of their necks. Whenever one of them is in trouble, this mark will burn them and begin pulling their bodies in the direction of the sibling in danger. The mark of Vidal is a skull with a strip of ribbon at the bottom. Each sibling has their own name on the ribbon, followed by the name Vidal.

All of the kids are in different positions in life because Rio and Agatha are unable to take care of them. Because they are unable to take care of their children, they send them off to households they trust to be raised. All siblings know who they are and who they’re related to.

Wednesday will be the main character of this fic. It might wind up being Marilyn, but for now, it is Wednesday.

Garrett is also like an extension of Marilyn. When he died, he latched onto her, and now he follows her around. The siblings are the only ones who can see Garrett for now. He was put into the Gates household by Rio and Agatha, but they quickly regretted it. The Gates actually had a son of their own, but he died of sudden infant death syndrome in the hospital, and the Gates never knew that Garret wasn’t theirs. Rio swapped the babies at the hospital.

Notes:

A lot is going on here, and I made it quickly, so this chapter may be updated with more background information as it comes to me. The fic may wind up making some references to other fanfics because some ideas others have come up with also wound up sticking to this idea.
