After his “reevaluation training”, Jax was much more than ready to be done suffering in this stupid Spudsys adventure. If you could even call it an adventure. It felt more like a living hell for him. He’s excited to leave and never come back again.
“Oh Jaxy!”, the bunny’s manager from hell called. “I’m sure you’ll be happy to know that it’s time for your lunch break”, Gangle announced with that annoying smile. He could appreciate finally getting some good news for once today though so instead of hitting the mask off the woman he huffed and walked out to the lobby.
He wasn’t hungry, just getting out of that kitchen was a good enough break for him. He took a seat at a table next to some gummy guys and sighed. He wished he had a phone or something to do right now. Damn his ADHD following him into the video game world. Jax folded his arms and layed his head in them, floppy ears drooping down to follow.
He must’ve zoned out at some point because when he looked up at the clock 10 minutes had already passed. He scoffs and thinks it’s really fucked up that time seems to pass much faster the one time during the day he doesn’t want it to. “Quiet down mate, he’s gonna hear ya”, Jax hears an Australian accent from the table beside him. His ear lifts itself up towards the sound in interest. Looking over, he’s greeted by the sight of a yellow and green gummy alligator looking right back at him wide-eyed and jaw hanging down. “You talking about me, punk?”, Jax glares back at him. His two crocodile buddies jump, squeaking at the scary look on the bunny’s face. The seemingly leader of the group stays still and relatively calm.
“Sorry sir, just can’t help but appreciate a pretty face like yours”, he smoothly says with a straight face. Jax can see the cartoony sweat-drop by his head indicating his nervousness but yet is endeared by the confidence he has. Gummigoo’s friends stare back at him amazed and wide-eyed, their boss is so cool!
Jax smirks back at the fella, the man’s kinda cute. And well, Jax is kinda gay. Perfect!
Out of the corner of his eye Jax spots Zooble coming out of the employee bathroom with a bucket of supplies, seemingly just finished with the task of cleaning the area. A lightbulb lights up above the bunny’s head. Standing up from his seat, he grabs Gummigoo’s arm and pulls him in the direction of the restroom. Getting the memo, the alligator blushes a deep red and lets him lead the way. His two friends share a look as the two walk away together.
“S-so uh what’s your nam- ACK!” Jax chuckles evilly at the man’s surprise as he shoves him to the restroom floor.
